It's fair. I fell into the "moar powaaaah!" trap. Also playing outdoors in a dusty environment and judging by the amount of crap, grit, etc on the innards it hasn't helped. I guess by the time I get spares, there'll be mags back in stock. Incidentally, there were a load over at Impulse101, which I was going to order but... eh, maybe not right now.

Yup, installed a new spring a while ago (Eagle6 M100 I think), so I accept this is probably down to me. It was literally just a spring change though. Nothing else got touched.

I got 10 minutes out of mine at the weekend and then it made the expensive noise. Disassembly today reveals a stripped piston, although gears are intact. Anyone know if this is proprietary to the MP5, or if it's common to the AK/G36 series? (doesn't look the same tbh) Obvious follow up question - where to get one?

I think from their homepage they state that they had a recall and those which were fixed are marked with a G above the serial number on the box. This page has more details. In terms of the differences, I believe the 19 gen 3 and 4 are largely the same, but the 17 gen 3 doesn't have the larger 15mm blowback unit (the 4th gen 17 does).

Seems reasonable, having it inflicted on you at work is one thing, having to put up with it in your own time is another. That said, the statement from the OP about "It's saved my accounts many times" isn't a great sign... I could bore on about this at length (but thankfully won't) about why it's great and you should turn it on for everything you can (Amazon, Insta, etc.) Suffice to say, password managers and a hardware based MFA method like Yubikey are the way to go, if your system supports it.

Not sure you can really draw a link between the implementation of multi-factor authentication and a mass password reset. The blog post I found on Invision about implementing this suggests that it's optional (or can be set as such). Is there any reason you wouldn't want people to have the option to enhance their security?

I've had the Nano Hard in a CA M249. It's very easy to do, just solder the trigger wires to the switch (in blue below) and plug them in to the mosfet. Set of wires go to the battery, set to the motor and you can split off the ones to the motor so you can drive the box mag when you fire. Mosfet has room to sit on top of the gearbox as long as you're careful when you close it up. Also gives you the option to swap out for a different gate mosfet if you prefer (other than the NANO asr because it's not wired the same)

TM's comes with trades just fine. However I suspect the distinction that was being made was "fully licensed trademarks" costs more, rather than whether it has trades.

Have a look at the review on Reaper's Airsoft Youtube channel. I think they cover it there (they cover pretty much everything else about it). Also regarding the motors you've got the choice of the BASE which is probably only marginally different from the Black or the Ronin, and £40 cheaper again.

Is that recent news? They were still open a month or two ago and are still listing next weekend as a date on the Gunman website... In terms of "Atmospheric" pictures, mostly they seem to have people in them doing cool shit or looking tacticool, when we all know the actual atmosphere at airsoft is a bunch of people standing around talking... I use Muc Off (sparingly) on the bolt on an SRS. Works well enough, but needs reasonably regular cleaning because it picks up dirt and grit. Partly this is due to the SRS bolt being permanently exposed (unlike VSR) and partly because where I'm playing at the moment has a lot of dust/dirt floating about.

My experience is that deans connectors make a small but noticeable difference, but YMMV. If you want easier but better you could try XT60's but they're a bit bulkier and harder to reuse. For Mosfets, Gate do a range of them, from the very small that fit in the stock tube, to the more complicated/expensive (Titan) that go inside the gearbox and provide a whole bunch of features like pre-cocking, burst, shot completion, etc. Black Talon Concepts are also well regarded.

Welcome back... Sounds fine as it is, like Speedbird says, just go out and run it. Only change I'd go for personally at this point would be switching the connectors out for Deans. - easy job and might get you a little free performance. I'd also stick to the 7.4s, but opinion differs. Slightly longer term, if it's all still running well and you don't feel the urge to buy something new and shiny, then you could consider chucking some form of mosfet in (whether that's a basic one or more complicated) for the improved response.

Best - There's a few bits of kit or guns that could fit the bill here, but actually thinking about it, the one that I've taken to pretty much every skirmish for at least the last 10 years has been my mesh face mask. I *think* it was one of the original Black Bear ones (seem to recall having to order it from Russia or similar) and it's undoubtedly saved me from injury a bunch of times. TM MK23 and GSPEC are also strong contenders just from how much use I've had from them. Worst... I have made a *lot* of poor purchasing decisions. I've managed to buy both M249's and M4's twice and sink money into them before getting frustrated. However, I think the G36 I got as a project gun that I was completely unable to get feeding properly is the worst, but the Wolverine SMP was a close second.

You might find this video helpful. Obviously ideal bb weight affected by how much power your DMR is allowed to put out. I lean towards "the heaviest you can get away with". But that's very thumb in the air.

I've always found the U-R Tactical kit to be well made, and comes in a decent range of camo colours in most cases (pencott, ATACS, all the multicam variants, kryptek, etc). They've got a couple of options on there that might suit. A lot of what you spend comes down to if you want a fancy rappelling buckle on it or can live with a normal one. Bear in mind that you'll also have shipping on top of that though. For decent loads I favour the HSGI padded belt, but sounds like that's not what you're after. One point of note is double check the sizing because obviously you'll want to add a couple of inches to your normal waist size to compensate for the fact the outer belt sits over the inner.

To be fair, with your throwing arm you don't really need a TAG launcher anyway...

I'm still waiting in the hopes that TM will release one. If they do the same job as they have on the polymer on the gun it should be good. Mind you, I'm still hoping they'll release some more mags, so...

Have you had it apart inside? I know one of the previous CA ones I had an odd loading platform that pushes things up, whereas the others basically use M4 hicap on its side. I've had a couple of different Bullgear ones and I'd recommend one of the inserts that fits into legit M249 cloth pouches. Mostly because you can easily pick up replacement out shells for £10 from your local surplus if yours starts to play up. Their own 3d printed hard wired one is much easier to load, but the fit is too picky (and I suspect you wouldn't be able to use it on the stoner anyway).

I'm assuming you've checked out all the BullGear internal replacement parts but either can't or don't want to go down that route at the moment? What are the internals on this one anyway, is it the "loading platform" type? In which case, could you substitute it with the MAG brand version (I think you'd need to retain the section where it meets the actual gun). It's a bit more straightforward. If you don't want to look at buying anything, just mods, then I'd probably be looking at making sure the bowden feed spring is good (can cause feed issues if it's been stretched) and looking at wiring options. Is it sound activated, pressure switch, direct wired? Other possibilities are jamming due to dirt/off sized BB's. Usually you can pull the spring from the gun portion and determine if it's a jam in that tube or internally, which might at least give you some pointers.

Managed the spring upgrade on mine to an Eagle 6 M100, also seeing around 340. Wasn't too difficult, just following the video and going slow. I found I didn't need to take it apart quite as much as they did (I didn't take the FCU off or remove the recoil unit). Slightly arsed up putting recoil unit back together, but worked it out in the end. Also seemed a bit fiddly getting the fire selector back in. At least the barrel/hop is accessible without taking the whole lower receiver apart, unlike the original. I didn't though. Testing tomorrow I think...

Yes, there are - like this. However, you're then spending £150 - £200 (Code Red Headsets also have a good selection) on a radio that costs £30. I've instead settled for a chunky ptt and a 3.5mm jack acoustic tube earpiece that plugs into it. Most of the time I'm only listening to traffic anyway.
