Hello Sadly we cannot get Duracote in the UK, which is sad . What is the best UK available alternative. Other than Krylon that is only available in rattle cans and in a limited number of colours. Does anyone know of a brand of paint that can be worked through an airbrush, comes in a larger number of and doesn't requite training courses or an oven to cure. Thanks

I have a PTW, fully upgrade NGRS and now an MWS. I am yet to use the MWS in anger and i am going to have to change my way of play due to the ammo restrictions. Both my NGRS and PTW are 120 round mid cap monsters with insane range on .32s I am interested to see how i get on with the GBBR before i get angry and grab my regular guns. If its raining heavily... I will be using the MWS

For any new painters on here.. Depending on what effect you want. You have some final steps after the paint goes on. A nice clean painted work of art OR a painted working tool that will show its wear and make you feel like a dirty operator. Art First give it a rub over with some very fine wirewool or wetdry paper ( Go super lite on this ). This will flatten the paint and make it look lovely. Then a matte or satin clear coat ( obviously the satin will be more shiny than matte ). Take some photos and know you are an artist. Dirty operator Just keep growing your beard

I haven't painted an MWS before. So if someone wants to correct me please do. What I will do when i paid this is tape up the end of the barrel so that paint cannot get down to the inner. On the body, it's has a pretty good fit. So I would probably just keep it closed and spray. That said, if i wanted to be more curious. I would put some tape on the inside, close the body and be happy if anything got through the gap. It would be caught on that.

Hello, I hate the paint job. Its not done badly, just not my style. This is a second hand MWS that I just wanted as a base. All i really wanted was the body, stock tube, barrel and the guts. Gonna strip all the paint for now and either paint it MC or just leave it black with tan furniture. I have painted loads of guns before this point. With each i just tapped off any danger areas and went crazy with Krylon.

I for one am SUPER DUPER BORED at the moment and this is the most interesting UK Airsoft thing to talk about. The guy stalking him is almost as entertaining as the drama itself. Even if its all actually shit Also, since i hate cheaters ( and speedsofters ) with a fiery passion. Hearing this cheat is getting banned from more and more sites. It is bringing a little joy to the repetitive life, we are currently in. Maybe once he is banned from every site in the UK. His videos will dry up and we wont have to every hear about him again. No i mean, he has a point. There are much better chassis to throw a pistol into if you want that carbine'esk look. These and I think I saw an airsoft MP5K briefcase ones. Both silly money and make zero sense. Other than for like 5 seconds of "look at this" in the safe zone or some hardcore role play. Mil and LE is a huge market as you would expect. The way they buy them is awesome too. To give you an example. I did a contract for very low level custom servers along time ago. While they only needed about 50, they also needed all the spares and consumables for the servers for 10 years. So this already large order just ballooned and I put so much shit on. They just ordered it. For the PTW's I would imagine buy thousands in one go, all to the same location. When they break, they will bin them and grab a fresh one out of the backup stock. Then ask for more. I would imagine somewhere, there are many many dumped but good PTWs. That just need a bit of love and would be perfectly good. Also all the clones are SHIT. There were made from cheap parts and always failed. I saw two people get new DTW's at a game. They got them out the boxes, put in the batteries, magged up and both popped smoke when the ecu's melted. Fun times.

The TW5 was the holy grail of airsoft guns. It was SOoooo good!
