The 'What have you just bought' Thread

New shooters belt from C2R. This is one solid belt! Yes they're expensive and probably OTT for airsoft (that's not a thing though, right?) but I'm massively impressed with it. Impeccable quality, great design and very low profile. Service was fast too. The inclusion of a sticker and card holder in MC Black was a nice touch. -
Not sure if it's the same but here are a couple of phots of the label

Bulk buy if you can. More cost effective. Fire Support are decent on ASG UltraAir but they are smaller cans. Zero One Pro gas is around £40 for six 700ml cans and is basically Abbey Predator Ultra gas.
-
Just buy what's technically known as, a shit-ton of gas. It'll get used.
-
Ordered a RIF from them with no trouble in the past, and bought a bunch of Magpul stuff (stock, trigger guard, grip etc) when they had their sale on last year. Great prices and fast service. As for the wankers our side of the border though...twats! Boxes ripped open, no effort made to repackage anything properly and tape over everything. Utter shithouses.

Yep. Still waiting for my refund. Can't be arsed chasing them.anymore. PayPal dispute going in. Ordered the C2R belt at 1110 today. At 1152 received an email saying it's shipped. That's how it should be done 🤜

That's excellent news! May be worth asking if they'll do you a deal on the gun plus additional mags like they do with the MWS too?
-
Like @EvilMonkeesaid, call them. They're really helpful and are a great source for all sorts of parts and accessories. Full of helpful advice too.
-
Fire Support also have spare mags in stock. You'll need them!

2021 was the year I went 90% green...gas. MWS first, followed by a TM MP7. The MP7 is putting .3s out to 50m no problem, at about 1.1js. Really good fun and don't worry about the ammo limit. Just pick your shots and learn how to reload quickly!

Happy with that. Just surprised that the kick was similar to the CO2 mag I run in my Glock! Need to find another holster now 🤣 -
Recently bought an AAP-01 and, although they do seem a lot of fun, I really don't think it's for me. Anyone wanting a tan version keep your eyes on the classifieds soon 👀

Very true. Just ran it through the chrono. 240-250 fps at approx .8j on .28s and green gas. Very surprised at the recoil for a plastic pistol. Looking forward to getting it out on the range. Will definitely be keeping everything stock for now...and probably always will tbh. Do you run green gas or 144a? -

Impulse purchase as I had a gift voucher to use. First TM pistol. Not loving the plastic, but it's all about performance at the end of the day. Only a back up too, so may go for the Guarder metal kit in time. -
Real shame as the products are decent. I cancelled my order over the weekend and asked for a refund. Still waiting for that after four days but I'm sure it'll happen soon 🤥 Going to go for the C2R Fast as a Christmas present to myself.
-
As @Shamalsays, most charging handles are like that. I replaced mine with the PTS Radian and that's fairly loose too. They're toys at the end of the day pal.
-
I have a TM MP7 and MWS. Wouldn't risk anything stronger than green gas myself, but others may and will say different. Give it a go in the cold and if it works, brilliant. If not, have an AEG as back-up. In fact, always have an AEG as back up if you mainly run gas systems!

Thanks for the advice and link. One to keep in the back pocket depending on how this plays out. I'm thinking/hoping that a PayPal dispute may kick things into gear. They do look good though so I would prefer the plates rather than a refund. Out of interest how long ago did you order?
-
I've seen you dish that advice out before and keep it in mind. I get that it's a small operation and not a full time business, but a one liner to say "Sorry, absolutely snowers at the moment but I'll get you your order to you by x" would go a long way.

Anyone had any recent dealings with Travail Fitness? I placed an order on 27 Oct for a set of 4.5kg multicurve plates, all absolutely standard, no special colours or graphics. Paid in full by PayPal and expected delivery within a week or so as stated on the order. I'm still waiting for any contact from them. I've emailed, I've used the contact form on the website, called their messaging service and sent a DM on Insta. Absolute radio silence apart from the initial order acknowledgement. Their product does look great, based on AATV's YouTube reviews, and I do want the plates not just for airsoft but as a weight vest for running, but I'm concerned by their lack of contact. Anyone experienced anything similar with them?
-
Good luck pal. I ordered my shooters belt on 25 October, also listed as in stock. Emailed them after the 15 business days had expired to ask for an update, and after a few days I received a reply saying they were expecting a delivery of buckles and would contact their supplier and keep me up to date. That was 15 Nov. Really tempted to cancel and go for the C2R belt, despite it being almost three times the price.

I'll have to give Ambush a go. Didn't even realise they were there. Probably do Camo in the new year. Bio-only site as well but at least you can take your own ammo instead of being forced to buy Nuprol crap

Look at Impulse101 for original TM parts

I'd throw in Anvil Airsoft as being a favourite; loads of loadout ideas and tips, as well as some of the most thorough and comprehensive testing and reviews. Also, big fan of Ollie Talks Airsoft. If you're a GBB user you'll find lots of good stuff there. Big Bird Airsoft hasn't posted in ages but I agree he's posted some decent content.
