Can anyone share their opinion on the Angry Gun suppressor? Not interested in the version with the tracer installed and I'm impressed with the AG SOCOM I have on my MWS.

Glad to hear you've rekindled your airsoft mojo. Amazing how scooting around, ducking and crouching can make you feel like you've had a heavy leg workout 😆 As others have pointed out a GBBR may not be the best option to begin with but they are amazing fun. Definitely worth keeping an AEG as a back up though as gas can be inconsistent. Enjoy your journey

No worries. The quality from HAO is tremendous and it was simple to install. I got the Angry Gun SOCOM suppressor, which comes with a really nice flash hider too. Good bit of kit with a great finish and Surefire trades if you're bothered by that

Didn't say I was expecting anything different. It's just not as neat as I'd prefer, but I'm not upset about it. The rail is fantastic, as is the suppressor, which I've fitted purely for the look and no other reason. If you don't like them, don't get one.

I fitted the 9.3" HAO to my CQBR a couple of weeks ago. This is the gap between the rail and suppressor. Not ideal but liveable. Oh, and the rail is superbly made

That's good to hear. Already had my MWS apart to fit the brass nub, so I'm good to go I think. Mine wasn't threadlocked or if it was my heavy handedness has been an advantage for a change. Just need some M-lok bits and bobs now.

The EPM NGRS mags are fantastic and what I run in my DEVGRU, but as others have pointed out, please, put everything aside until you get a decent sling. Head over to Tactical Kit and pick out a real steel sling. I run a Blue Force Gear CAS and it's fantastic, but others by Ferro Concepts or Magpul are also great options. Don't risk a grand's worth of musket to a strip of Nuprol tissue paper.

When you see painted guns in films like Lone Survivor, or on SEAL Team, or even real life like Obi Wan Nairobi/Chris Craighead, they do look cool AF, especially when they're 'worn in'. Sadly, the majority of painted guns I've seen on airsoft sites (or in the classifieds recently 🤢) look utter dogshit. Your mate's however looks pretty good, but I'd always have in the back of my mind that a paint job is very personal. As others have said, if you want to sell it, your're knocking a few quid off the asking price. But how can you put a price on your enjoyment? In conclusion, do what you feel man and enjoy it. And at the end of the day, it's an MP7, so automatically you're cooler than at least 68% of other players on the field!

I'm having a mare trying to find a replacement spring for the hop up adjustment wheel. All the usual outlets are out of stock and I'm getting desperate now. Does anyone know where I could pick one up, or perhaps have one themselves they'd be willing to sell me?

Any suggestions, apart from Impulse101 or Eagle Six, where I can pick up a hop click pin spring? Nudged the hop wheel earlier when reassembling and mine fucked off into the beyond.

Got the Angry Gun suppressor on, together with the Magpul CTR stock and MOE+ grip,and mounted the Vortex Crossfire just to see what it looks like. MK18 RIS II rail arrived today, as have a Laylax wrench, a PTS adapter ring and a couple of spare TM hop rubbers. A new trigger guard and cheek riser are inbound and I'm waiting to get either a BCM Gunfighter or Magpul RVG foregrip, some new BUIS and maybe a PEQ and weapon light, then I'll start on the final version...until the HAO SMR arrives 😳

I've had my much-loved M14 on the classifieds for a couple of weeks, and despite a fair number of views, so far, no takers. The gun is fitted with a Warfet mosfet, and, a few inevitable and character-building scrapes aside, is in great condition having been serviced by Luke at Negative Airsoft over Christmas. Powair6 do pretty good prices on Magpul accessories, or as @rocketdogbertsaid above, Brownells are great for a wide range of RS parts.

That's reassuring to know as I ordered one yesterday...and yes, as @AlphaBearsaid, HAO aren't delivering to the UK at the moment, but as I'm still waiting for Fire Support's TM restock, I haven't got a gun to attach it to anyhow!
