  1. When I had mine (TK45C) I ran 11.1v 1300mA VP lipos. Don't use 11.1s anymore so I have a couple available if you're interested?
  2. Thanks for that. Unfortunately there's only 6 of us, and 3v3 just isn't going to work 😂 We may decide to play on Sunday and if so I'll give you a shout. Thanks again
  3. Tell him you'll let his missus know how much airsoft really costs. If he doesn't sweat at that, he's not human
  4. Few options from airsoftfaceprouk.com too. No personal experience with them however.
  5. May not be to scale, but they are frickin awesome fun!
  6. I fitted the SixG nub and had to replace the nozzle return spring and the hop clicker spring. Didn't enjoy it 😆 Just had my NGRS back from KOA and no way I would have attempted that...although I did replace the inner barrel and hop rubber without fuss. It's just not for me.
  7. Cheers @RostokMcSpoonsOne to check. Not meeting til March so fingers crossed
  8. Just after a few pointers from the wider masses. A group of friends and I are all looking to meet up for our first skirmish together in almost four years. As we are spread across the country, we figured the Midlands would be the fairest place to meet up. None of us are CQB fans, preferring a bimble in the woods to room clearing. West Midlands Airsoft The Fob was my first thought, but it looks like it's only open on Sundays, and we need a Saturday game. Can anyone offer any suggestions in this general location? Cheers.
  9. THIS ADVERT IS 'UNCOMPLETED' - THIS MEANS THE ADVERTISER HASN'T BUMPED THIS LISTING, BUT IT COULD STILL BE WORTH CONTACTING THEM.

I have a CYMA AK47 (CM0.42) and am looking for 3 or 4 mid-caps. For the loadout I want, I need the traditional metal-style mags (as pictured) rather than polymer. I've tried E&L mags and, although they fit, they don't feed, so I'm after original CYMA mags. None of the UK sites seem to have them in stock and I don't fancy shelling out £135 to get some from Gunfire. I'm not that fussed if they look a bit worn, just as long as they fit and feed without any issues.

  10. I'm right there with you. Reasonably comfortable on the MWS but no way will I touch my NGRS 😂
  11. I think that, or any barrel shim set should solve the issue. I have a G&P MK18 rail that I haven't fitted yet, but the bloke I bought it from was kind enough to include a few shims.
  12. For £13 it's great! Few spins through the washing machine and being left in sunlight will do wonders I imagine. And there's always actually using stuff to give it that worn-in look too 😂
  13. Finally got round to picking up a Chicom chest rig for a merc/generic bad guy loadout I'm slowly putting together. £13 well spent and from order to delivery in under 24 hours. Fair play flecktarn.co.uk
  14. If you like it, go for it. Doesn't really matter what anyone else thinks. It makes a change to see something standing out from the rest of the crowd, and, as already pointed out; if you don't like it, change it
  15. I knew a girl like that once Let it go man 🤣
  16. They have that effect! And just when you think you've done accessorising, you see someone else's build and think 🤔 "that'd look good on mine"
  17. 100%. I use a Slingster with my MWS and a padded BFG VCAS on my NGRS. No way I'm trusting over a grands worth of pew to a £10 sling. Use good hardware with slings too. First time out tomorrow with the MWS eh @MAX DICKER? Your face is going to hurt from all the grinning you'll be doing after each trigger pull 😂
  18. Sensible to wait. And three extra mags? Do I smell a Fire Support deal? That's where I got mine from...with the three extra mags. And don't worry about getting the front sight off. They come off just fine. I'd always advise a two-point sling as they're more versatile. Much easier to sling your weapon on your back or get it tight to your body. They also won't nail you in the nuts if you drop your rifle to go to your pistol! That's just my opinion though and it depend on your playing style. Something like the Magpul MS3 sling can switch from a two point to a one point, so that may be an option?
  19. Absolutely right! Buy whatever you can afford, or whatever makes you happy. I'm all for that. The Raptor Tactical gear looks solid af btw! Great choice.
  20. I very nearly went for the MK18 myself, but after chatting to a few folk in this thread, went for the CQB-R instead, purely for the nause that handguard looks to remove. Have you ordered the barrel nut tool? I've got a G&P MK18 rail, which looks class, and a Geissele MK16 rail from HAO, which is on at the moment. The third party support for the MWS is huge, which is great as you don't need to be a slave to one look...just your bank balance. Hit up @Davegolffor the brass nub, but the MWS is great as is, so don't worry if you have to wait a while for one. Just make sure you use decent ammo, get some spare mags if you can, and if you haven't got one already, a TM XL speed-loader is recommended as mags can be a bitch to load at first. Oh, and don't skimp on a sling. Ferro Slingster, Blue Force Gear VCAS, Magpul and the like are where you want to be, not 8 Fields or Viper!

Brand new AAP-01 in FDE, boxed and barely touched. Only had four magazines put through a chrono to test that it works. Look like loads of fun but, tbh, I bought it on a whim just before Christmas and it doesn't really suit my style of play or any of my loadouts. Price includes postage and PP fees.

    £75

  22. Runs fine in mine and, apart from a SixG brass nub, it's completely stock internally. Be worth getting familiar with Impulse101 for original TM parts and investing in some of the known perishables; nozzle, nozzle return springs, mag lips, that sort of thing. Wouldn't worry about anything though really. Fire Support are great for spares too.
