Hey all,
Just wondering - I’m not a fan of CYMA Blue editions polymer nozzle. Just watched big bird airsoft and he looks to put an SHS 21.4 nozzle in. Have you guys changed nozzles?
-
Hi all,
95.3% certain a CYMA high speed MP5 will be my next purchase.
Please will you kindly post your builds below for inspiration? I want to re-create my COD load out but the front end remains an anomaly. I could get an SD and fettle the ris hand guard to fit but meh.
I look forward to seeing your builds at your earliest convenience.
Insight and feedback on the CYMA MP5’s are welcome also so please indulge me.
Thanks in advance,
Ron

I’m not holding out too much hope for this year. I’m just being tight. If I can save 50£ somewhere then that’s 50£ extra on mags 😁

Hi all,
I’m in the market for a new primary and I’m avidly looking forward to Black Friday this year. I’m hoping to get a blinding deal from our favourite polish retailer however I am unable to find any information that’s not last years news.
A question to those of you with your ears to the ground - Any news and where’s a good place to start?
-
Oh man, what an idea. I’m sure the first time you go to a game you’ll realise how friendly the airsoft community is. The only way you’ll find out is going and giving it a go!
If my dad stuck around I would’ve loved to go with him and from the sounds of things your son is a lucky boy to have a bloke who’s willing to go n get wet, muddy and sling some plastic balls at some sweaty nerds! (Like me) It’s all good fun. I’m not super experienced like some guys on here but I can safely say I can’t wait until my daughters old enough to the point where (hopefully) she wants to give it a go! Props to you mate!

No first hand experience but I've seen the term 'Krycrack' thrown around in some circles, quite a few receivers cracking at the rear in older models, apparently fixed now. Decent enough performers though I think expensive for what they are. Propietary spur gear, so if you take it apart you'll have to do a bit of modification to the gearbox shell to change to a different set, may be a game changer for some.
Honestly for the price they're charging (quick google showing circa £350) I'd look at the CYMA platinum series, save yourself a hundred buckaroos for pretty much the same thing (mosfet, ambi controls, etc, etc).
I concur. I’m also in the market for a new AEG and the clearest option for me is the CYMA platinum. 150 less than the Krytac which means more mags and tacticool (unnecessary) attachments for the RIF. -
I don’t get the ad’s where it’s just the single picture. “TM NGRS” 1 pic of a generic M4... Oh because it’s a TM you only get a pic and it’s at a premium. If I’m dropping 400£ on a secondhand toy ima need to see up inside that shit. Of course this can be requested later however it’d be nice to see general overview of the piece.

Yea the E-12 I found to be really poor build quality. We all know the Orion gear box is not the best really poor finish, bad air seals and the shim job was sub-par. It’s really put me off the Specna edge range.

The title above - mines the Specna E-12

Indeed. You couldn’t even take it through small claims court as I believe it’s now a minimum of £1000.00. Really is a sh***y move. I suppose all we can do is blackball them from forums such as this.
When I sell an item it gets to me that people are dubious of me, naturally I understand why but I always go the extra mile to ensure they know all is well with videos, receipts for postage and the like.
Gives sellers a bad rep.
-
It’s obvious why these people operate but I just don’t understand what goes through their minds. Is it desperation or what? Ultimately they’re gonna get caught out. Like surely can’t your bank do something when you don’t receive the item?

VFC only recently bought an aeg version out.
It has issues, similar to the v5 gearbox of Marui which is a similar concept, that also has issues.
What Cyma do (in general) is clone a design, skipping on lots of R&D costs hence being cheaper.
You can't have something both ways, something new/unusual and cloned.
I’d feel better if I bought it at a fraction of the price of its competitors if you follow. In stead of spending 300£ on one knowing it’s got issues. That’s the only reason why I’ve not splurged on an MP7 lack of spare parts / upgrades and issues straight out the box. I don’t fancy a GBB version.

It's a definite improvement over the original. Almost makes me want to get one. And I have a G36 rail knocking around too...
From what I’ve read the UAR isn’t the best base gun, although that looks cool I read that a lot of work went into the inside of it just for it to meet the minimal standards. It would be a cool project albeit a lengthy one. -

As some of you asked for fotos of my collection, I took a few pics 🙂
We restored a house a few years ago and I got the rare opportunity to turn a room into my personal little "museum". The only downside: The showcases are full already... 😅
As mentioned in the new members thread, I'm a collector for quite some time now and I'm interested in anything that's odd / old / rare / shellejecting / japanese / gasdriven in general and recently got a knack for a bit more steel here and there.
Unfortunately, the showcases in the middle still lack lighting 😑
Disclaimer: Everything in that room is legal and according to german laws, the guns themselves aswell as the showcases, which are locked, when I'm not there. The guns outside the showcases are 0.5 joules, so they don't fall under german gun laws, but are categorized as toys.
The legends are true, Eldorado exists. -
Hmm I see what you mean. However I do kinda like the magpully theme that’s been going around with the dual tone. I like how the guys taken the rail of a G36c and slapped it on there. I find the original rail ugly.

it can happen, seems to be a bit more common with covid, i'm normally a foresty kinda guy and i've noticed there are more indoor players coming outside due to the indoor sites staying closed, of course folks tend to bring their normal play styles with them and unfortunately that can include bad habits picked up from their regular sites.
really can't knock the cyma/jg ak lines, they really punch above their price bracket when it comes to performance.
I was a woodlander too. I think I enjoy the CQB sites due to my new found timber I’ve piled on over the last couple of years. To the CYMA AK - really impressed. I’ve owned 4 rifs all more expensive than it and it out performs all of them.

I agree completely. I was asked politely to “cool off” which has never happened to me as I’m a patient dude. I don’t wanna ruin anyone’s day and we had new guys on our team too I didn’t want to give them a bad impression so I left.
With regards to the bouncer comment I think even if they did want to invite them to leave it could’ve got out of hand. I observed social distancing throughout my 55 minute stay but I could smell last nights sesh on the what I believe to be stag do.
I wished I’d stayed just to see how the Marshall’s handled it. If any yellows who were at today’s game pipe up and let me know please.

I had a similar experience on my last (and first) trip there back in March. That combined with my general preference to woodland has seen me not return. I could just have been unfortunate with my CQB days but I find non-hit taking much more frustrating in that environment. When you're that close to each other I find it much harder to brush off than when you're shooting from a decent distance.
I've enjoyed F&O sites for the most part (bar the 3 hour long briefings at Anzio), but the standard of marshalling feels like it's been below what it was since service was resumed during lockdown. Always good have a good vent and get it out of your system, fair play for calling it a day rather than lashing out. It's a shame the staff couldn't resolve it, for me personally that'd be the biggest point of consideration on whether to return in the near future or not. It’s a good site and when you get the regulars you can have a really good time. I just feel like the Marshall's were intimidated by the group and therefore their warning fell on deaf Eastern European ears. I think they did what they could barring becoming bouncers.
Im just a disgruntled customer at the end of the day. Just mag dumped 3 mid caps into my garage and now I’m feeling better.
PS: really impressed with the CM.045a’s performance cracking little rifle.
