  1. >shoots rainbows Perfect for me and the squad
  2. Absolutely true, and they are a wonder to behold. But in my experience, that's the exception not the norm. I'm more than happy for people to bodge their TM's with upgrades as it means I'm less likely to get shot as I bimble around at a skirmish.
  3. So for Christmas I bought the missus a Cricut machine and have actually been using it a lot myself to make stickers for my van from photos of my toys.
  4. Yeah, whilst I'll admit that it's possible to do really nice "upgrading" to a TM, frankly I'm of a mind that if it's not broke, don't fix it. And in my experience, TM is the most unbroke out of the box brand you can get.
  5. The Egyptian ambassador is really spoiling us.
  6. Wait, so currently your gun is chroning 280fps with .3g BB's? That's how your post seems to read... though a stock TM would never have that power.
  7. I've had mostly TM pistols over 12 or so years, on the odd occasion I've bought non TM pistols, I've regretted wasting my money as they are gash compared to marui.
  8. I've got a missus for that ?
  9. Absolutely love 90's Aesthetic, one of the few cars I've owned was a G60 Corrado.
  10. Ah unfortunately I don't have either Facebook or Instagram accounts, but from what I can see before I'm instructed to sign in/sign up looks great.
  11. 68?!?!? Fair play mate.
  12. That's an awesome collection. I've been back into painting models for less than 2 years and am so slow. Got half a dozen Astartes, a Noise Marine and an imperial Knight painted. Currently painting a Keeper of secrets. I'd love to paint up an army like you have but I need to get better, faster and more consistent
  13. I like the L200's, big fan of pickups. Missus wanted an automatic to learn in so my choice was limited. Tax is a bit pricey but it's a very nice car.
  14. I have a Ford Transit for work and a Mitsubishi Shogun as my runaround motor. Either are handy for my leisure activities
  15. Same. I'm absolutely useless at woodland and always end up getting mullered. Truth be told I'm not the best at urban/cqb either but I have fun ?
  16. That's not been my experience but certainly likely.
  17. Late October, and yeah, it's that Gaol... only time I've been. 3 and a half hour drive and totally worth it. I have a gilet for when it's cold lol
  18. So this is my current loadout. Not going for any particular look, just what I've learned over the years is what I'm most comfortable playing in. I have a chest rig with m4 mag pouches, a battle belt with pistol mag pouches and some more m4 pouches. A dump pouch and a safariland for my TM Glock18. Main pew is an MWS, though I've accessorised it a bit more since this photo
  19. It's just a question of making it worth their while. If it's a car full, maybe offer to hold your sale at the end of the day so as to not disrupt the play. I've found that "making it worth their while" can amount to nothing more than h̶a̶n̶d̶j̶o̶b̶s̶ giving owners and marshals first dibs on the best gear.
  20. I'm a big believer in the idea of voting with your feet. If you don't like how a site is run, and the kind of shenanigans the marshals let slide, then don't go. If it's really that bad, then attendance might become low enough that either the site bucks up its ideas or becomes financially non viable. A third outcome is that it will become a site totally frequented by arseholse and every gameday becomes a circle jerk of fuckwittery.
  21. What I've done in the past when I've had a surfeit of kit is take it along to a site during a game day and put it up for sale at the desk/counter/stack of pallets etc. Work out with the site owners what percentage of sales they get as their fee and everyone is happy. Done this a few times at different sites over the years. Just be sure you OK it beforehand.
  22. This pretty much sums up what I was going to say. And I've been on both sides of the fence. About 10 years ago I ran a rif with a crazy ROF, can't remember what but way more than 35. Now I have a GBBR and whatever ROF I can achieve in semi. thing is, unless an action is explicitly prohibited at a site, like running ROF beasts, then people will do it, for a large variety of reasons. I'm never in favour of clamping down on stuff like this, it's just a hobby. If that's what some people like to do, so be it. Adapt and overcome.
  23. That's a top tier missus you have. I had the same RIF as my primary for about 2 years. Stonking fun
  24. To clarify, I meant we've been lucky compared to other countries that have suffered worse government stamp downs on freedoms. Now don't get me wrong, I agree that mortality rate from covid can be brought down with extreme measures. For example; a full shut down of the country with martial law enforced lockdown. Mandatory vaccinations for everyone etc.... Is this a world you'd like to live in? Or maybe you're comfortable with the Mandatory vaccinations but not the martial law? For me, personally, I believe everyone should be able to choose their own response. If you want a vaccine, go for it. If you want to go out in public wearing ppe, that's fine. If you want to lock yourself in your home for the rest of your life for fear of catching the sniffles, knock yourself out. Freedom isn't free. And the only things that will survive the heat death of the universe are "temporary government powers".
