13 years of luck using green gas on many TM's then. Perhaps OP has knocked or dropped his gun
-
Wow that sucks. I'd say a manufacturing defect, I've put tens of thousands of rounds through mine and have no cracks.

If my kit was Russian, I'd burn it right now. However, if I turned up to airsoft on Sunday and someone was wearing Russian gear, it wouldn't bother me. I wouldn't see it as them endorsing what bad Vlad is up to, rather it's an aesthetic choice. Reagan was right when he called them the evil empire.

Looks good, I had one on my old honey badger.... tempted to get one again. Where did you get yours? -
So this happened last month. Not a problem, still works and I have a replacement perspex lens but Holy crap, I cannot unscrew the bezel. Does anyone have any experience doing so? What am I doing wrong?

That's a neat idea, though I'm wondering how you're losing mags? The only way it's happened to me in the past is from using certain holsters.

Or putting the gun down, stricking the cap, waiting for the glorious plume of colourful smoke to emerge before throwing...... only for it to actually be a thunderflash. I have never done that, not ever, honest

Is it a Status updates or a Facebook post ?

Just arrived from Brownells. An AR-15 Tekmat, Strike industries dust cover and best of all, a Strike industries multi angle pistol grip. Going to experiment with different angles at UCAP Vendetta this weekend. -
I remember I bought one from new as well, sold it on a year or two later for the same reason. It was a fun gimmick but not reliable enough to skirmish with. No regerts

It's kind of endearing, like adopting a rescue puppy. You'll turn that poor broken two tone horror into a gleaming fully functional rif. Post pics when it's done. ? -

That's an awesome find. Hope you get it working. It's many years since I've tinkered with a gearbox, but my first was a JG v3..... unfortunately I don't have 3 hands so it was a wretched experience. -
Where is it cracked? Do you have a photo? I'm guessing either yours might have had a small manufacturing defect which caused it to crack or its suffered an impact whilst you've been playing (I how of a few broken rifs from the player running up against barricades or falling). I've had my TM G18 for almost 3 years now and it's still going strong. I run it on propane but hardly ever on full auto. I'll easily put a few hundred rounds through it on a game day so I can vouch for its robustness. I would definitely have a look in classifieds for a replacement upper. Either that or araldite

How I see it is this way, airsoft sites are there to A: Make money, B: provide people with a fun environment to pew They are not there to provide an income stream for any old yahoo to rock up, film, then edit the footage in a way that can potentially cast the site in a bad light (deservedly or not). I'm all for people being allowed to film, and with the size and quality of cameras now, a ban is unenforceable. But with such a signed waiver on file, a site owner might at least discourage the click bait merchants and possibly give them good grounds to have videos taken down.

Which is best? Tokyo Marui VS WE Samurai Edge Stars Beretta
MAX DICKER replied to ashburns54's topic in General Help
A couple, last one was a WE WET Glock or something like that, can't remember what I didn't like about it but I sold it on pretty quick (this was about 6 or 7 years ago). When I say Worst ever, that's hyperbole. I ran a WE M4 gbbr for over 2 years. Yes I had to take spare parts with me every gameday for the inevitable breakdown but it was awesome fun. Honestly, the difference in quality between WE and TM isn't so big. But it is there. If someone really has to have actual metal, yeah, a WE is spot on. -
In addition to the other replies, I'll say this; (this applies to casualsoft skirmishes) everyone pays the same money to play, and everyone plays in a way that they most enjoy. Youll always get your group of plonkers hanging back and chatting, your narcissistic user l33t YouTubers with gopros hanging out of their arses, your regulars who know every advantageous angle to shoot you, your hpa/speedsofters tearing around like mad that's... and everyone in between. So given that everyone is doing their own thing, how much you enjoy a day is wildly dependent on the ratios of player types attending. Perhaps if there were more players who were keen on objectives in your team, you'd have enjoyed it a lot more. And as mentioned, the subjective quality of sites can vary wildly too. I've been playing 13 years, and I'll still have bad days for whatever reason. But on the flipside, I'll also have absolutely outstanding days that me and my buddies will be chatting about for weeks. I seem to have rambled a bit, not even going to proof read. Hope this helps.
