  1. Fair enough, guess my mind just immediately thought of a Gate Titan etc. In all my years playing airsoft, I think I've only ever come across one stock NGRS and one stock VSR.
  2. Beginning what? You weren't thinking it'd be a good idea to start skirmishing with shell ejectors we're you!? 😲
  3. I would disagree with that. Fancy gun = fancy problems.
  4. Afternoon all, I've just picked one of these up and annoyingly I don't have any tamiya to deans adaptors but anyway, once sorted are people running stock Krytacs on 7.4's or 11.1's?
  5. I hear ya', I'd rather having a £150 DE Honey Badger sitting unused as a spare than a £1200 on Marui NGR's.
  6. This isn't the High Cycle version is it? Is it all stock? Have you used it recently? ie it's all working as it should and no parts missing? If yes to the above and it's this one, it's about £180 delivered new - https://www.fire-support.co.uk/category/tokyo-marui-aegs/?manufacturer=&stock=&stpos=60 So that's a second-hand price of £110 plus a little bit on top for the stock and mags if someone wants them, so around £130 including Paypal fees and postage.
  7. I can't speak for anyone else but when using a TM base I keep as much stock as possible, possibly a stronger recoil spring if it feels a bit sluggish with the metal slide on. I doubt you'll see a noticeable difference with that BBU and IMO all steel parts are for is durability over time. Isn't this the same one you're selling though? Either way, I would let the part actually wear-out before I worried about that.
  8. Good luck. I had £600 in mine and ended up accepting about £250.
  9. Are you selling this? If so, there's a classified section for such listings. Edit - Ignore me, just seen this is in the appraisal section.
  10. What's the big hole in the first pic from? I've just looked at a close-up of a new one here and can't see there was ever a screw there.... https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/g-and-g-armament-combat-machine-cm16-r8-l
  11. There used to be a ASG/Marushin CZ75 but that's long-discontinued. Not sure there are any current models.
  12. Just one? Yeah, cardio pretty non-existent since the weather turned but I have been doing plenty of push-ups and weights etc, so I may be slow but hopefully steady haha.
  13. Can we move this to the dreamers thread? Generally you know where the opponents are (some of them even move!) but this system is never going to accurately mark which window of a building etc. Besides even if it did, should it? We already live in an age where teenagers are scared to have real conversations because they mostly only know interacting through WhatsApp etc. We're running around the woods in real time, let's build confidence and comradery by shouting things like this.
  14. What are you talking about!? There's some seriously valuable stuff there: Cleaning rod.Lens cover for scope (Black).Dpm baseball cap.Pistol lanyard (green).Bulldog 5000 tub 0.12g BB.8.4v battery I mean honestly, every now and then I go through my spares box and just bin stuff worth far more than that.
  15. Does anyone know of a retailer who stocks a good range of Bolt AEG's?

@ak2m4 - Yeah, about & £325 plus the strong possibility of customs & duty etc. Think I'll just hold tight until more stock hits our shores.

@Cr0-Magnon crwairsoft in HK another option I believe, but yeah with all the turmoil maybe best to wait.

  16. I was thinking about this the other day and understand it for parts that are designed specifically to keep the gun together when it comes to live rounds etc but seems kinda pointless to include polymer handguards or stocks. Like the Pakse Sapper handguard for the Scorpion Evo, $50 in the US, £120 here.
  17. I'm 36 and even I sit back and let the young' un's go first....in fact you may be surprised at how many people play at a very slow and non-committal pace. Most aren't exactly SAS and/or elite athletes.
  18. Hi and welcome! Nothing like the adrenaline of shooting at opposing players to get your aim on point (plus you only need to roughly hit a chest sized target and in theory once). Are you intending to attend some skirmishes when the sites reopen?
  19. I think I must have bought something from the same place ages ago, as I had the same from an Irish shop. When I complained to them, it turned-out they also sold bait and fishing equipment.
  20. Watching low budget Zombie movie "Hard Line" and they've found a WE G34....

  21. Really depends on your preferred style but as already mentioned above you can't really go wrong with the CYMA Platinum range and they're within your budget, even including a few mags and batteries.
  22. For me it's the opposite. I nearly quit before lockdown as had a few not-so-great days in a row and was feeling burnt out and guilty about spending more time buying and selling guns, than I did actually using the damn things. Now I'm left sorely missing having a reason to get up and out first thing on a Saturday, then getting that feeling of having earned the right to sit down, maybe have some Doritos and a few beers in the evening. Again I feel guilty if I haven't worked for it.
  23. It's the gun equivalent of when Deadpool had to regrow his legs...
