  1. When I Google "Vorsk Hi-Capa" the first search result takes me to one which is £150. That website also sells the TM 5.1 for the same price. Most people purchasing them want something they can reliably skirmish, sometimes even as a primary. So I can only deduce that it must be the plain naïve and the "TM's are overrated, they're not even full-metal" crowd, choosing the Vorsk.
  2. TM pistols are designed to hop 0.20's, I've always found simply replacing the hop rubber for a 50 degree Flamingo enables me to hop 0.28's at about 2/3 setting. If that doesn't work, look at sourcing a stronger hop arm/creating more pressure on top as that will be the main factor. You shouldn't need to replace the entire unit.
  3. Sounds great @Lowe! Funnily enough I have the same problem as your son, although I'm the other way around, so I've had to get used to shooting right-handed. I did order one from Socom Tactical, but they called me to say that the OD is out of stock and that's a deal-breaker for me unfortunately. I'm sure I'll pick one up at some point. I've heard the mags can be annoying, dumping 20 BB's because of the position of that little tab. Did you have any issues?

This hasn't been skirmished in the few months I've owned it. So it's in excellent overall, which I've tried to capture in the photos. Below is the description from a retailer: The new GEN3 Lancer Tactical series offers the same characteristics as the Proline series by combining a Gen2 Series Polymer body and an ETU NEBULA programmable electronic trigger, making it one of the most versatile and powerful products on the market! Thanks to its new Nebula V2 ZION Arms electronic trigger with magnetic sensor, this replica is extremely regular when firing (2-3 fps difference on average) and generates a rate of fire of between 23 and 25 shots per second (depending on the battery used), with several firing modes: semi, semi only, full auto, burst 2-3-4-5 shots and binary! 5. If it's not going to be used for airsoft skirmishes, you can pick up a Weihrauch HW30 air rifle for less than £200. Infinity more accurate than any airsoft rifle and will last long enough to be handed down through generations.
  6. Can no-one really come up with a way to reliably get closer to 300fps out of an AEP?
  7. So they it wasn't a warning to keep an eye out for your batteries getting puffy?
  8. We don't want none of that now do we, removed 👍 I'll go for this bellowing out when I try to throw a grenade and it inevitably bounces off a tree, back to my own team....
  9. Ahh I meant nothing political by it, I don't pretend to even know the full-meaning. Just a catchy tune 🤷
  10. Just thought this might be at least mildly amusing... While I am strongly against those annoying people (let's face, it mostly Gen. Zer's) blasting out tunes in the safezone, or perhaps even more egregiously during a game. Which songs would you score your day with and bonus points for describing the scene. No tryhards saying something cringeworthy like "Drowning Pool -Bodies" (unless you're describing how your old bones collapse when you get home 😆)

  12. @Rogerborg- which spring did you use to get yours up to 2.2J? The seem to be measured in Newtons.
  13. I'm not really the going prone, ghillie type. I am interested in something lightweight and reliable though. So whilst I agree it wouldn't be my first choice looks-wise, in terms of what I want to achieve, I actually favour the skeletonised stock.... possibly even the plastic version too. Unfortunately I do suffer from acute FOMO, so may feel like I need to drop the extra £100 for a metal receiver.
  14. So is it too light (lite?) or heavy? The "lite sport" is super-cheap but has a plastic upper receiver, aluminium cylinder (rather than stainless steel), plastic hop unit (rather than CNC) and only one barrel spacer. I'm not sure if it's worth paying the extra 🤔
  15. I've always struggled to get into the boltie life, but if these are decent out of the box I am tempted to give it another go (lightweight and long range, sound good to me). Does anyone have any experience with them?
  16. If you wait a little bit, Lancer Tactical are releasing a Gen4. The Gen3's I have are more basic (but still solid). However they've announced Gen4's will come in full-metal and include a Gate Aster...

I picked this up recently but changed my mind, I have just opened the packet to get some air to it but condition is "as new" Stated price includes trackable courier, payment ideally as F&F due to the low value. Please ask any questions via PM as I don't get notifications for anything asked on the ad.

  18. Surely all of these are trumped by the guy who's been trying to sell a collection of RE pistols on here, for what's got to be more than four years now?
  19. If anyone suggested a swap to me and they had something I was actually interested in, they're 100% going to have to wait until theirs is in my hands, before mine's even packed for posting.
  20. Cheers guys. Does anyone else take ages listening out for the slightest variation when adjusting it? 😬
  21. Do people thread lock theirs, leave without or use PTFE tape?
  22. If you're cutting a spring for an AEG, should it be at the guide or piston end?

I think this deserves an "... and why?"

Just chop it out the middle and you don't have to tidy up the ends.

I received a gun from a retailer with a sharp and non-flattened spring in it. I returned it as I found it, but wanted to make sure I wasn't accused of doing some damage etc.

  23. Just a quick count of heads, does anyone here actually remove their inner barrel and hop unit to clean it?
