  1. As someone looking to buy a TM MP7 GBB and 4 mags I wouldn't pay £400 for a used one...... I could get all that for £440 brand new.....
  2. I use nuprol red or abbey orange on my hi-capa dor in the winter but I chrono it on the day and up or lower the gas to keep it close to 300fps. If I shot 310fps or higher I would vent my mags and use the lower powered gas. I play mostly indoors so likely slightly warmer than outside but not much and I run the pistol as a primary often.
  3. Under when tested in play and good point about bb weight I can't imagine they are putting any in their mags. After I had spoke to the head marshall I did see a guy out with the chrono testing. Really should have the chrono in the hands of someone who understands how the guns work. I know the Depot tourney lock the HPA users I don't really know what that does but suspect it's to avoid this type of speculation.
  4. Aye been twice to the new site and going again next month. It's a good place to start of airsoft for sure.
  5. It was better than the last time I was at that site but as the day goes on it can start to wear on you just clashing in the middle but I do like how they split the site up for certain game modes. The fall back games work very well on that site and the attack/defend the train was fun too. It's still a small site and while upstairs has expanded it a fair bit I think we only got up there twice in the day. I feel the middle section downstairs in the darkness is just too strong to which ever team holds it. Add some lights in there IMO as it's corner camping hell with lots of nooks to go in. I took a speedy boy to the head after you had called it a day and went off to speak to the head marshall and he said that he had the same thing said 2 weeks back and when they checked them they found them to be UNDER what most peoples guns are shooting on site. Sounds susipicous to me as if you had that fine of adjustment you'd be above 330fps surely. Obivously if they see a guy with a chrono in their hands then they might just crank the other way hence being "low". I made it in to the Police Station btw guns blazing but they were barely taking trades so never made it in to their half of it. I think they need 4-5 marshals around that to keep people honest. The marshals are much better than my last time there too a lot more engaged in the game instead of on their phones at the side while bb's are being flung. I do think the briefing confusion causes people to accidently respawn in the wrong area or when they should not which "accidently" gave them an advantage. Get yourself down to the new Depot site it's already bigger than Bio with maybe only 1/3 of the site open for play. ] The real bright side is we made it through a whole day without me shooting you once.
  6. gone for the proper one £50 pre fitted with the dampener kit.
  7. I had a rule no airsoft purchases until I go back and play after Covid. I played last Sunday and ended dropping £300 today on bits and bobs. I guess this is what happens when 2 years worth of wants catches up and I have no UKARA to drop it on a new RIF anyway.

  8. Fair enough I will get a odin hopefully get one in time for Sunday so save any effort. Thanks for the info guys.
  9. Anyone know where I can pick one of these up? I had my first game in 2 years last Sunday and all I have is the standard pistol size speed loader and wasn't enjoying filling my mags up between rounds. I run evo mid caps and 5.1 hi capa pistol magazines currently. https://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-magazines-c3/speed-loaders-bb-bags-c59/laylax-electric-bb-loader-750-round-p10257 I'd pay more for a better one as well if people can reccomend it works well.
  10. I love mine and it never lets me down. I run nuprol red 3.0 in the cold months to keep it around 300fps with the TM red dot on it. I had to replace the slide stop because the pin sheered off and was advised a AIP one from Mike the Hi-capa guru. I epoxied some adapter on to the plastic outer barrel so I could run a tracer but that is all I have done to it and it has never let me down and I used it a lot when I got it as a primary. If you have small hands the hi-capa is big. I take a small in gloves and can manage it however. As far as a tether goes I'd just invest in a good holster. Here is some footage of me using it I sprint at the start of every game and never had my pistol or magazines eject. Blackhawk omnivore holster and esstac kywi pistol pouches with a notch cut of the kydex for the feed lips.

I went with green as pretty much everyone is black or tan at my place so I should be able to spot my bag easily. To be fair the yellow is also yellow in the inside so you can find all your gear easily against the contrast damn wish I'd have noticed that. Also if you are stopped and searched for some reason I don't think they can claim you were trying to conceal a bright yellow bag ?

The yellow is a probably bit OTT.

That's a fair point, as regards identifying your own kit. I picked up a teal gun case this year for similar reasons.

Wow, 70% discounts on all bags and packs, I guess this summer is a write-off for Mountain Warehouse.

That is a great deal, but I'm sticking with my wheeled trolley case so that I can kid myself about how much excess junk I've stuffed in there. ;)

  14. WFH laptop and gaming rig sharing space currently.
  15. Anyone else realising that they have money they don't usually have? Not being able to get to a game day is really saving my bank balance.

Mine is staying open it seems. And im thinking one last hurrah before everything gets locked down might be fun.

Its not like my playstyle lets them get close enough to infect me anyway.

It's going to be months before we get to TK each other. ?

  17. Can 5.1 magazines fit in a 4.3 hi-capa? all TM mags and TM hi-capas specifically.
  18. Here is another subscribe to my only fans for more
  19. Sighted in on @Rogerborg weighing up if he will believe it was another "accident" But the pistol one I was actively engaging 2 targets but looks like I am bored ?
  20. The fear got to me I've ordered a cup seen to many ball shots and do no want.
  21. fair play hes lowered the price of the TRMR and removed the fees/postage extra. Just listed a torch for £15 cheaper than retail price as well. credit where credit is due.
  22. If I was going to drop £700 on a pistol I would be speaking to Mike from elite shooting I doubt he would tell me It needs tuned when I got it. Also would come with a 12 month guarantee and his excellent support.
  23. same guy whos wants £700 for his pistol which he has never skirmished. £150 he wants a stake home money + fees+ postage. Absolute joke as for "Used for a few games" my TRMR which I got second hand and have used for a year is less beat up. We have valued multi shots at £100~ add the primers and postage anything more than £115 is a bit of joke regardless of these being "rare".
