  1. Cheers bud, it's a Peli 1690
  2. Managed to get another Pelicase for all my gear to go alongside my gun case, and replaced my knackered storage crate from B&Q! You know when you check the dimensions of something online and figure 'That'll be fine' only to realise when it gets delivered how bloody big it is! ? It'll do the job, and will more than likely turn heads in the safe zone... Doubles up as a coffee table!
  3. Here's an update on my MK18 build - showing off the new Vortex Micro 3X which is such a lovely little magnifier. (my unused Vortex VMX-3T will be up for sale soon) There's also a family photo, including the latest addition of a TM MP7A1 GBB, I've only used it for plinking but will hopefully see its first game this weekend down at South Coast CQB. ?? Such a fun little gun to use, it's grin inducing to say the least! ?
  4. Thanks bud that's good to hear. ??
  5. It's new and shiny! Give it time, it won't stay that way! ?
  6. Finally joined the TM recoil gang, and couldn't be happier! ? Bought a MK18 Plans are to keep the internals untouched unless something breaks which is the complete opposite of what I did with my VFC! I have thrown an awful lot of external goodies at it though... *Magpul angled foregrip *Magpul CTR stock *Magpul MS1 sling *Magpul RSA sling plate *PTS EPG grip *PTS rear iron sight *Haley Strategic WMLX flashlight *Haley Strategic 45° flashlight mount *Vortex Sparc AR I just want to get a Magpul 'ASAP' plate for the back of the receiver, although I'm not sure whether they can be made to fit with the recoil system in the way? Lastly a Magpul trigger guard and I think me, the MK18 and my bank balance are finished ... ?
  7. Is there a particular store that I can go to find original TM internal parts? Or is it a case of phoning a supplier and seeing if they can contact TM directly?

My KSG hop chamber needs replacing as the tiny screw threads are fooked!

Nice one sonofsammo for posting that link,to be honest if Eagle6 goes by their usual service standards the impulse101 parts will get here before them anyway??

Thank you very much @sonofsammo I emailed Impulse, and they are sorting things out for me. It's going to take about month or so to get the parts but I'm more than happy to wait!

  8. 3 days now and my parts are still stuck in customs... ?

It's pretty decent, like any CQB site it can get a bit choke pointy. generally pretty well marshalled though. Come on down, be good to meet up!

Sounds good mate, can't be any worse than UCAP's bunker or the Mall when it was heaving!

Do you need to pre-book or can you just turn up on the day?

I think both me and my mate will head down there for sure. ?

Best bet is to book, drop them a line with which game date you want through the contact form here: https://www.ironsightairsoft.co.uk/contact-us and Lorraine or Paul will get you booked on!

Not as bad as The Mall when it was busy, that place was a complete gagglefuck at times!

  9. I've bought a Geissele rail for the A5! What do you chaps think? I'm personally a fan, and although there's not much difference in weight. It feels nicer to hold, I may not even bother with a vertical grip. Here's pictures of before and after.
  10. I'm going to stripdown the KSG tonight... Wish me luck! ?

@RMDavis That looks awesome. Cant wait to hear the results. Out of curiosity, how much did that lot set you back?

Blimey! The RECON plate carrier looks about half the size of my RICAS. It's like a bloody tactical crop top! ?

There's a reason I refer to them as the DFS of tactical gear shops can never beat a site that offers decent incentives even if warrior isn't my thing

There is a code in the bargain thread that gives you 10% off WAS all year round.

  12. In that situation I would probably accept a handful of bb's thrown at me as a hit... Just to be kind! ?
  13. Would be hilarious to come across you in the middle of a game. Surrounded with mags, gas, and bb's! (whilst being on the enemy team of course) ?
  14. Curse this thread! ? Slowly making my way through it, as I type this. Its a gold mine of great information which has already answered many of my questions! I think a TM M4 MWS CQBR will be my next purchase...
  15. That KSG looks incredible! ? Although the mag conversion needs to be destroyed, and locked away in the gates of Hell...
  16. Had a great night at the Bunker last night, and met some awesome people! The KSG was an absolute beast, and put a massive smile on my face the whole time! Completely different style of play required, but very rewarding. Was a real 'baptism of fire' getting to grips loading the shells in complete darkness! ?

  17. TM Shotguns... AA12 or M870 what would your money be going on? (secondhand)

  18. Had an awesome day at R.I.F.T 'Coms Site 3' on Sunday. Such a well organised site, with some of the best marshals/marshalling I have come across. Well worth a visit guys, I will definitely go again!

Going for my first visit on 10th March having been to The Village a few times - really looking forward to it ?

  19. That's awesome bud! I do love a nice Oris, they make same cracking watches. ?
  20. Making the trip over to R.I.F.T 'Coms Site 3' this Sunday. I'm looking forward to it, and have heard good things. Any AFUK crew been there?

The site is great, Tony is a great guy.

The site is medium sized for what I’m used to. (Maybe 10-20acres tops)They use the whole site, it’s got a bit of everything, underground rooms, buildings for extreme CQB, wooden pillars and turrets, an open field, trees. You name it it’s there.

Tony is extremely strict on the rules, so days are usually epic as I have never had a cheat call at any of the days they do.

  21. It's lovely mate. One day I aspire to own a 'Hulk' but a Tudor Pelagos might be a little more realistic!
  22. Loving that 'batman' ?
  23. Don't lie... We all know how you got those 'steps' ?
  24. If your 'leftie comunistesque rant' was directed at my little joke, well I'm sorry as you have completely taken it the wrong way. I couldn't give a flying f*ck what somebody puts on their wrist, whether its a Rolex Submariner or a little digital Casio. budget aside most watches are bought based on their aesthetics and that's obviously down to the buyer. Personally for me I am more interested in horology, the history of these manufacturers and what goes into making a decent watch (regardless of cost small or large) Fake watches do not keep decent time. They have some crappy quartz movement from china stuffed into an equally inferior case. Unfortunately there is much division in the watch community, mainly due to closed mindedness, ignorance and vulgar petty bourgeois snobbery. However, there is one thing ALL watch fans agree on, from rookie hobbyist, aspiring collector such as myself to seasoned connoisseurs, and that is the unpleasant subject of fake replica watches You don't buy a fake Rolex as a 'cheap' watch in order to tell the time, you just don't! The sort of person that buys these fake watches IMO is because they want to provoke a reaction or get comments about said watch, when it's a sham because it's fake. If they really wanted a cheap watch watch in order to tell the time, there's a whole host of watches that can be had for under £50 from legitimate manufacturers that do the job without the 'fake' bit.
  25. Okay... ?
