Absolutely staged. Will seemingly has a whole team to manage his social media and do these cringe little videos with massive production value and editing etc.
Yes, you can legally buy a RIF from the classifieds here if you're over 18 but it is on the seller to check you have a reason for owning a RIF as they are the party that would potentially get in trouble. If you try and buy a RIF from here, the seller will ask for you to provide a defence, be it UKARA etc.
You've admitted you want a RIF for target shooting and plinking which are not justified uses for owning a RIF. Your options are IFs or airguns.
Well, you pretty much have really as no responsible seller will sell you a RIF knowing you're not going to skirmish with it. I imagine if you pay a little extra, a seller will two tone a RIF for you.
Pretty much all of my RIFs have come from HK or Japan. If you have a defence, just import yourself. Just know how much you're likely to pay in fees and the rest is just like ordering from a UK retailer 99% of the time.
Just use a bandage chopped to a suitable length. I've also used a sock cut down the sides to double the length. Either simply tied to your arm is sufficient at Battlesims. All it is is an indicator you've been shot.
How much did you pay for the MP5K if you don't mind me asking as I have one kind of new in box I'm planning on selling soon. It would be good to get an idea of the price for a new one.
Losing airsoft guns at German customs used to be a thing for a while if they were posted with a certain courier as they went via a German hub or some BS. So even if it was legal in the country of sale and destination country, German customs would intercept. Perhaps that worry is from that.
What's your budget? You have companies like FPR, ALC, Nova putting out steel 1911s, 2011s, Glocks and Desert Eagles but we're talking fairly hefty price tags.

Lots of blank firers used at games likes MSW in the US. Always used responsibly from the footage I've seen. They're treated as a LARP element with a significant MED. I think they add massively to the vibe and would be fine with them.
With the slide off and an empty mag in, does the follower push up on the slide stop? If so, that will rule out mag, spring, follower and slide stop issues and narrow it down to the slide stop/slide notch interface.
VFC G3 and MP5 GBBs are pretty much 1:1 to RS so RS stocks fit very easily. If you want to use the RS spring and spring guide on the G3, you just need to shorten them.
Doing that makes you guilty of manufacturing an realistic imitation firearm. Though airsofters have a defence so is fine to do as long as you can provide evidence it's for skirmishing.
I sold one back in 2007 for £130 but I don't think it had the paperwork and collector pin or whatever came with them. Just gun, mag, wooden box and box of BBs iirc. Of course market has changed a bit since then I guess but just my experience. I tried at £200 but didn't sell until I reduced to £130. I guess the buyers are out there but it just depends on how long you're willing to sit on it until they appear.
Oh. Perhaps I'm making some assumptions on general knowledge. On film sets, guns are actually pointed slightly off of actors to negate any armourer failings such as this scenario but mainly to avoid any small amount of debris from the blanks hitting actors. Then camera angles do the rest and make it seem like everything is lined up.
