  1. It probably is, but having done a few WE Glocks I'd just get the hop wheel, I key 50 degree rubber and a Crazy jet barrel. I've used a M/L hop unit now and then and tbh the stock one with the M/L bits fitted is just as good.
  2. That's pretty much it, i find that using my thumb on the hand holding the mag to press the adapter down does the job. Needs to be angled at about 45 degrees, but this works well for me . I find that 8 pumps of the loader is 28 BB's which is what I load my mags too rather than ram them full. I take 5 mags and the speedloader out for a game and refill empty mags during any lull. My WE based L119's get a good 2 BB loads for 1 gas fill .
  3. Better pictures, and with an optic on .
  4. Work moving on with the gas L119 A2 build
  5. Any news on who will be doing the pre orders on these yet ?
  6. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Airsoft-Parts-Barrel-Silencer-Adapter/dp/B08PPG2G19/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2Z5U15FIHJN3S&keywords=airsoft+adapter+14mm&qid=1672679648&sprefix=airsoft+adapter+14mm%2Caps%2C94&sr=8-1 This what you need ?
  7. I fear you might struggle. That hand guard sits much further back than on a 'normal' M4 platform . Usually you would see the upper past the ejection port cover . Is there a removable barrel nut ? You can see the difference in the fromt end of the upper in this picture, there is a lug for the dust cover rod and the front of the upper sits above the front body pin hole. What is it that you don't like about the existing hand guard ?
  8. I've goy HAO lock rings for these , used one on my GBBR A1 too, along with a real steel mag catch for the A2
  9. Well. I've been on the waiting list for close to a year, but I know Jim does a great job on the whole thing so I'm happy to wait. The actual time they were away was about a month , but they were ready before Christmas I opted to wait untill this week to have them sent back though. He did the full trades, receiver mods on the uppers and turned down the threads on both buffer tubes.
  10. Receivers back from machining and engraving for a mate's L119 A1 build and my A2 build. Both WE based GBBR's. LC's have done their usual awesome job.
  11. On the barrel and bucking front I fit Maple leaf crazy jet barrels to all my GBBR's with a M/L 50 degree bucking and usually an Omega nub.
  12. From how it's shown on the blow up I don't think it is . Looks too long tbh , almost looks like it should be a grub screw. Is the hole in 128 threaded ? Wondering about part 134 Pretty sure 127 secures the hop unit into the reciever. Just looked at my WE G3 with what is essentially the same mag catch and there is a grub screw securing those parts together. On mine the hole for the grub screw is pointing downwards
  13. https://www.kyairsoft.com/parts/we-smg-gbbr/apache-series/we-apache-long-127-gbbr.html KY have got part 127, but cant see how it would fit with 128 and 129.
  14. Care to share which retailer it is ? I'd be up for a pre order on one even with a long wait. Kind of get on the pre order waiting list sort of thing .
  15. What state is the inner barrel in ? If the fps was consistant but the shots were 'scattering' I'd suspect that. Might need a good clean.
  16. Just ordered an airseal nozzle and basic Gate mosfet for the Specna 249. Gate nano jobbie, no bells or whistles , just protection for the micro switch.
  17. Bone yard Specna M249 MK1 from patrol Base. Other than the snapped carrying handle (the reason it was a bone yard) , which I'm not remotly bothered about it all seems good and un marked. It's the polymer body but has the 'standard' LMG box and hop unit . I suspect the internals are A&K . Box mag works as it should etc. Acording to the box it's upgraded, does look to have a prommy purple hop rubber . What other 'upgrades' are in there are anyones guess tbh. Fitted a spare heat shield cover to it.
  18. The Sig is very nice (as all your work is) but needs the grips doing with the correct SIG SAUER and P226 markings to really finish it off.
  19. Did you also lube the lever on the trigger box that lifts the valve knocker when the mag is empty ?
  20. I'd get it and try it first before worrying about changing anything. Give the inner barrel a good clean before using it . Use a decent weight of BB (I use .30's in my GBBRs) put a few mags through it to start bedding in and set the hop and see how it does.
  21. My usual with my GBBR's is to fit a Maple leaf hop rubber , omega nub and Crazy jet barrel. A mate has the 417 and it seems pretty accurate , exactly what issues are you having ?
  22. As above, leaking from the router is usually down to the knocker valve not sealing properly. You might get away with just tigtening it up (they do work loose) or it may need removing and the O rings looking at.
  23. I paid £30 for mine as a wall hanger thinking it was an aeg untill I opened it up ! Spent a couple of hundred on spares and mags and now I have a fully functioning GBB L85 , it's great for gaming too and of course uses the same mags as my L119's I replaced the trigger box , bolt including nozzle and a few other odds and ends. It had been converted to some sort of laser based training platform so the trigger box had been butchered.
  24. I'm like that with guns, 'I don't need any more' closely followed by 'Yeah , but it's a ......' willpower is over rated
