  1. Found a decent price on a complete bolt mp5 receiver and I have a cyma mp5k with a cracked upper. So I want to know are bolt mp5 receiver proprietary or should the fit a standard v2 gearbox?
  2. Even with out the stock that is a good deal. Even the repo stocks are £120ish if you can find one.

    Beretta XM9

Just to kick in pedantic mode the slide lock feature was taken off the production MK23 as they thought it was a waste of time. HFC make NBB m9 maybe a better shout than trying to shoehorn in mk23 internals into another frame. But with out a major redesign and manufacturering a GBB cannot be switch from GBB to NBB single shot. All the real steel achive it by mechanically locking the slide with out blocking off the blowback gas flow you would detonate your gun in short order.
  4. I belive the SRC barrel comes with internal 11mm threaded barrels so you would need an 11m to 14mm adaptor. Don't if WE does but you could get a tap and cut a 11/12mm thread. KWA/KSC tokarev come with plastic barrels so you could cut threads with the 11mm to 14mm adaptor but that might go squint and the thread would strip relatively easy.
  5. there is a sales forum to put want adds https://airsoft-forums.uk/forum/144-the-af-uk-classifieds/ and you really do not want to put your email up on an open forum.
  6. Not quite but they are small https://www.showgunscustom.com/. There hasn't been any good images of the kit disassemble yet to see inside. But given its size some time with a dermal and sheet plastic practically anything will fit in it.
  7. google is your friend https://www.fire-support.co.uk/product/cowcow-tech-ksc--kwa-enhanced-15mm-piston-head-cctkwa003
  8. Yeah batteries will get warm when current is drawn they have resistance. You should only really worry if the battery gets burning hot or puffs up.
  9. That looks like a glock. What make is it? Depending on manufacturer you can get replacement spring sets.
  10. Cheers most of my tracers are Acetech so was hoping to stick with them.
  11. Has anyone got any experience with tracerers with built in chronos? Are they accurate and which brand would you recommend. I do have a sneaking suspicion they are all made by the same manufacturer though.
  12. Can you give us a picture of inside the slide? Being plastic I would also assume something to do with nozzle. Also is the rubber in the top of the mag intact?
  13. Pretty much. AEGs and GBB are generally much more mechanically complicated than their real steel original (giving many more points of failure) and in their country of manufacture are dirty cheap and made of low strength materials. Partly because they are cheap and partly to make sure they can not be made to be actually lethal other than beating someone to death with one. In the end we play with toy guns who's original design was only intended for plinking and not for the abuse they suffer just being used in game. It would be fantastic if we could expect the same reliability standards as real steel but economies of scale means we would pay a fortune for our guns. We just have to accept that sooner or later our toy guns will break.
  14. £20.00 they can be had for £30/40 new
  15. that is the law yes in theory. but everyone here is speaking from experience the retailer if they are good will fix it, but most likely that will cause them to loose money and they aren't big enough to make demands on the manufacture to get their money back. So is most likely going to say this was broken by user error so warranty is invalid and then it's up to you to prove other wise and trading standards don't have the resources or the knowledge to do anything about one RIF.
  16. Some of those RC were released as Tamiya. I wonder who OEM'd for whom? but sooo 80s why oh why can't they produce GBBs of some of those?
  17. Unless the gun is dead out the box warranties are pretty much worhless as trying to prove it wasn't user error is well difficult. Next question have you modified it in anyway as that would invalidate any warranty even its just changing the connectors. It would be nice if airsoft guns were universally reliable and long lasting but even the high end guns are just cheap toys for what they are expected to actually do.
  18. I had my hopes. I expected a kit but the size of the G11 I was hoping for internal tank HPA.
  19. Nothing special by today's standards its just the fact it's an SA58 and came out when classic army had good build quality. Always want the folding stock version but last time I saw one for sale new it was £400ish before importing costs so sod that.
  20. They do like the AAP-01 they have done a few kits for it. I do like the fact the fake mag cycles
  21. Bodge it and fit a mk23 with an extended inner barrel that will make it a DMR.
  22. Looks like Showgun is bring out a G11 kit for the AAP-01 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=5451469544883209&id=100000606538129&m_entstream_source=feed_mobile

    Import RIF

orange tip has no legal standing in the UK. for a RIF to consider an IF it needs to be painted at least 51% a specified colour. there are other legal methods to importing but they all require being a member of UK based organisations. unless you want to paint your guns your best bet is to come over rent from a site get your UKARA and then import your guns.
  25. should be interchangeable with classic army collapsing stocks
