The TM doesn't really need up grading it shoots far enough and consistently enough to be competitive in woodland. Whole point of TM guns are that they are just well built guns that run consistently and reliably. If it wasn't for how much fun my recoil HK416 is the p90 would be my go to gun.

Going by reveiws the Novi is based on a CYMA which is TM clone. Do not get any of the sport lines especially classic army it's garbage. I personally run a TM RD with MAG 170RD mid caps( high caps are clever but prone to jaming). No experience of krytac or novritsch p90 but other than a mosfet cannot see what they offer over in this case the significantly cheaper TM.

You shouldn't leave co2 bulbs in the mag. co2 dries out the rubber seals.hope fully seals aren't damaged but I would soak them in silicon oil.

Is this a recent thing? Temperature drop means gas efficency will be down and once it gets down to single digits a lot of pistols will be next to useless. Simple answer is something Tokyo marui they have the best design/quality control and being mainly plastic they are much more gas efficient than the metal clones. If you want a 1911 the M45A1 is the most recent TM design and has very good efficiency for a single stack. I personal rate the HK45 Tactical. It's a double stack mag so large gas capacity. Grip is adjustable depending on hand size, controls are ambi, comes with a threaded barrel so can fit a pistol tracer. If you want to go cheap the AAP-01 is really good value for money and has massive after market support. They do gave a reputation for breaking though.

Can't add anything to the legal side of things, but regards the painting of the pistol depending on your skill level and which gun it is. it may not be possible to get a good finish either after stripping or painting over the two tone paint. It will certainly get you a better result just purchasing an OEM replacement (frame or slide)

Eclan for the look other wise pretty redundant on a support gun the idea is to suppress rather than aim. When I ran an support gun I had a tracer to get a general idea of range (honestly I do this with all my guns). I mixed same brand same weight tracer/standard bbs to be a little cheaper. I also tended to run .2g bb as accuracy really wasn't the goal.

what make is it and can you rack it back and manually engage the slide catch manually with out the mag in?

Marushin or Chinese clone mossberg 500. Its gas. The valve is in the space where the shell loader would be and bbs are loaded into the mag tube via the end cap if I remember correctly. Parts will be almost impossible to come by and they leak like a sieve.

TM P90 with at least four 170rd MAG mid caps, spitfire tracer and a torch with a ris attachment. Gun is light, small for using in confined spaces, ambi dextrous and has the range to be competitive in out doors. Other than changing over the battery connector from mini tamyia ( even that is just a preference) does not need a single thing done to it prior to use. Regards gear I am tall and fat and find military first has a decent range of colths for the bigger person. Regards webbing. Molle battle belt with braces and viper pouches has always done fine for me.

You really want to move to country primarily to own guns? I thought about moving to USA awhile back because of the money i could earn in my profession and had fallen in love with the side of America I had seen( I am a geek and regular travel to Atlanta for Dragon con basically geek mardi gras). Any way the more I looked into the more I saw the UK is shit the USA is shitter (it ani't getting any better). I have made friends over there most are professional all of them have been laid off multiple times with little warning and no restitution whats so ever in the time i have known them. An English friend who married a local has been there 8 years has had 8 jobs and only got his green card last year (he can still be chucked out the country for any reason). What ever state it's you'll miss the NHS, first year we went a friend had a drunken fall, went to get checked out at the hospital. A sprained ankle cost him 5k up front that he had to claim back on his travel insurance. I really want to know who started this TM 1911s can't finish a mag? in single digit temperatures they'll struggle to cycle but so will most GBBs. most of the years you'll get 40ish rounds out a single fill.

After all is added up I have rarely saved money on importing, pretty much now the only reason to import is you can't get it in the UK.

I have bought guns before decided I didn't like them/wanted something else and sold them without ever doing anything than a test shot.

I generally find gillihie suit wearers complain about getting shot by there own team alot for that reason. My opinion is team tape should not be hidden and if you can't see it shoot them.
