Easily the worst fucking day I ever had in airsoft.
Zero situational awareness, slower than a snail and I'm fat as fuck so I make a crap load of noise every time I move.
Also playing with a GoPro leads to terrible life choices -.-

But devils advocate by the very fact you’ve said this you won’t have been the worst there for it the number of times we’ve all seen some clueless cockwomble crashing around through the undergrowth and then bitching like hell as someone he didn’t see shot him , even though they’re practically in plain sight ! 🤦♂️

I'm a fairly fit chap but when I started airsoft I found my weight to be working against me so I decided on a few lifestyle changes and dropped a stone of hard earned weight(I dont put it on easy or take it off easy).Airsoft for my hasn't been just about the pew pew its helped me get my self confidence back,get over huge self embarrassment and anti social issues too.
So please take this as advice from one comrade to another if your as passionate about your sport as you come across on this forum then use that passion and make some changes to your lifestyle,you'd be surprised what a few changes can do,diets are good for short term quick fixes but for long term results I strongly recommend lifestyle changes

i wouldn't worry too much, i'm the same in many respects but it gets better with experience.
the weight issue is easily fixed if you have the motivation or you can change your playstyle and go for a calmer sneakier style of play, there are ways and ways of dealing with issues.
end of the day this hobby is just a bit of fun, if it motivates you to do a bit of self improvement then more power to you (literally!) but you shouldn't get too down over it. i take the view that whilst i might be fat slow and clumsy i've found at least something that'll get my ass out of bed on a sunday morning and doing some exercise with freinds which ultimately is better than the alternative of doing nothing.

Picked this bad boy up. Manual winding M4 drum mag. Basically the ARP drum but in 5.56 format, holds 2300 rounds oh, and another prommy purple bucking to go in my honey badger

Just picked up a dot for the arp (as the t1 will stay on my am-009), this one https://gunfire.com/en/products/red-dot-1x40-reflex-sight-replica-black-1152205534.html Does it look ugly? Holy cow it does (and I may actually like its ugliness) Does it work? Yes, the dot is an actual dot and being huge it also give good peripheral vision.. Had a similar one (although smaller, lens diameter was around 30) on a g36 and it was really comfortable to look through.

Shorter suppressor, CTR stock and a flip up rear sight. Or keep the suppressor but get a longer handguard

It says Made in Vietnam. To be honest, I don't care where it comes from, as long as the quality is good. I've handled high quality stuff from China, and it is really high quality, but also high price.

I've beaten the absolute shit out of it, rock solid. It's just so comfy. I can wear it fully loaded for 24 hours straight and not feel fatigued at all.. No idea where they're made Will check later

Quite surprised by the price as well!
I really thought it would be some overpriced piece of junk, considering the 9mm version goes for €80/90 in "local" shops.
Gonna take my M4s there as well and try it. If it feeds, it's mine.
If it doesn't, well, I'll stick to flash mags
good for tournaments because it's one less battery to worry about (and less weight to sling around, as my current drum mag feels like it's made of lead lined granite)

New gat. G&G ARP 9 Added my trusty Aim-O T1 replica, a BD loudener (or whatever it's called) that can be swapped for a G&G Mjutli 100mm foam filled suppressor, some cheap but very effective polymer iron sights and a temporary vertical grip As of now i have only 1x 300rnd high cap and 1x 1500rnd drum, will get 2 more stick mags just in case. Internally it's still stock, I only replaced the horribad G&G blue bucking with a G&G Green one. Will change the spring soon and maybe swap out the ETU for a Titan andand maybe a airtech studios battery compartment extension unit

500 rounds and it's already showing heavy wear.. Kinda disappointed as Ares could up the price of the base gun by €30 and use steel cylinders to begin with..
