    Outdoors and maybe tournaments, I barely play CQB and I have the ARP for that *binary trigger says hi* Bought a set of bearings, but I'm not going to replace the stock bushings yet, they seem to be made of steel so I expect them to last for quite a while before needing replaced. Hop rubber is gonna go straight out of the box though, replaced by a Maple Leaf MR-Hop along with its Omega nub, it's a combination that works really well and lifts heavy bbs. It's mostly a case of plugging the battery in and addressing anything I don't like.

    Okay guys. Made my decision and bought a Specna C02 in half tan as they like to call it. Could've gone for a G&G Raider CQB but meh, doesn't have a QC box and still has the old style hop chamber with gears. Not really an issue but when considering that it is more expensive than the specna (€150 against 120), plus I would have spent more for a new chamber (ye €9 but price is almost irrelevant, it's the principle), the choice was rather easy Cheers to all for your input Now let the poor man's AEG build begin.

    Almost a month late, but I just ordered my well deserved birthday present. Specna C-02 in two tone (half tan/black) Then got a few bits and bobs. GATE NanoASR (a backup for the NanoHard, which is a backup for the Warfet.. there is no such thing as too many backups ) Set of 0.10/0.20/0.30mm shims SHS plastic rotary hop chamber SHS 8mm bearings Yet another ML Omega tensioner (i have at least another 5 spares, but why not) A bag of BIO Specna EDGE 0.3s for my pistols and sniper A cheap FMA M-Lok grip. EDIT: I am also an idiot, once again forgot to put some AK flash mags in the cart. I'm so braindead..

    You'll have to redo the wiring anyway, so at this point you could buy another v3 switch, wire the warfet to that one so you have a backup in case something goes funny.

      Well you do need a fuckton of tin on the connector's blades.

       

      XT60s required very little and they have those awesome sockets for the wires rather than a flat plate..

       

      But hey, GATE mosfets come with deans, not XT-60s :(

      Flatten wire with pliers, put some solder on both wire and deans contact, melt them together, boom, done. Then heat shrink.

    @mightyjebus any updates? How's the gun performing? I am seriously tempted to buy one at this point (and sell my Ares piece of shit). Problem is, on TaiwanCum it's out of stock along with its longer brothers and the ones with the regular M4 stock. I have managed to find one on an Italian retailer but that's €200 shipped (almost double the price).

    Izlom, another pattern I've put my eyes on. As of now I think I'll be getting those €30 cheap eBay suits (the "recruit" models on greyshop, same thing) before splashing out on a proper SSO Partizan in SS.

    AFAIK, Partizan is NOT a pattern, but a uniform cut (an oversuit in particular), the pattern is SS (Leto: summer, the one pictured, and (no fucking clue) for winter/autumn)

    Always go for high speed gears and high torque motor if it's possible. Plus you're going to short stroke everything, this involves a stiffer spring to make up for the reduced piston travel, a HS motor may not be able to pull it. now @Sitting Duck is the man when it comes to motors and all that witchcraft, he may give you a more detailed answer. Those numbers are most likely the motor's RPM (which doesn't equal gearbox RPM as 18000 rpm would translate to 300 bb/s lol)
