    @Iceni will probably know 👍
  2. That pisses me off, worse though which happened a couple of times in one game day, changing the rules during gameplay just to benefit the "home" team, not even close to a stalemate, just to give said home team a massive advantage, when it happened the second time I saw people packing up their kit & going home early. I vowed never to use that mobs sites again, they spoiled so many peoples day with their childish antics.
  3. Cheap poor man's "SLR", JG FAL, gotta have solid stock though & maybe different flash hider. Can't comment on how good the s&t sterling is, but I know there's a few on here that have had one, in sure they'll chip in with info ?
  4. Find an old kings arms L1A1, mate had one of the first made & had no issues with it. Failing that look for an S&T Mk5 Sterling, considerably cheaper than an L1A1, used by radio operators etc, not many other options for cold war Brit kit. Jimpy ? Nerf rockets or tags in an 84mm Carl Gustav 🤣 Regards gear, 58 pattern webbing, 68 pattern DPM jacket & green lightweight trousers, black leather boots & maybe puttees if your stitch counting lol
  5. Lol, if he knew that he probably wouldn't have put it in the appraisal section 🤣
  6. I typed that in to Google translate, it came back with: "Clearly the Greedy Cnut tried to squeeze every last penny out of the area of land he'd rented, without considering the the consequences or repercussions of his tightwad actions" Isn't this new fangled technology amazing 🤣
  7. Sorry, but this is one of those pointless threads, destined to never actually reach fruition.
  8. Still confused, the TM shell/body you refer to, is that a springer ?, rather than TM's existing full auto aep series. if this is the case, assuming you can get the springers at a much cheaper price than the aep version, its highly unlikely you'll find cost effective internals you need, assuming it's even possible, which I highly doubt. surely better to have cheap a non firing replicas, & add cgi muzzle flashes post production ?
  9. Dude, are you talking about it firing bb's airsoft stylee, or trying to build, for example, blank firing internals to fit inside a tm uzi ?, for filming etc
  10. What a Cnut, so he openly acknowledges that his airsoft regulars have given him a continuous revenue stream when all his other fair weather punters have stayed away, he's also exploited the good nature of self same airsofters by asking for free labour (& probably skill sets) towards the upkeep of HIS property, from which he profits, & then the first opportunity he gets, he stabs his most loyal client base in the back😡. As for whether we should consider if he's on the spectrum & that therefore affects how he deals with questions on his business ethics, what a load of bollocks, the guy runs 4 locations catering for "outdoor pursuits" & is probably minted, so clearly nothing has held him back up til now, he's just taken his most reliable (& in some ways naive, no offence meant) client base for granted, in the knowledge that if he can get guys working for nothing, then what other liberties can he get away with. like I said, definitely no offence meant with my "naive" comment, I used to work in engineering on a heritage steam railway, as well as the skeleton crew of paid staff such as myself, the place had a massive core of volunteers, mostly retired people who were affectionately known as "puffer nutters", enthusiasts who were prepared to do all sorts of work, some of it menial & pretty shitty, just to get their fix of Steam etc. What I found objectionable about this though was the upper management/board of governors paid themselves very very well, while making lots of empty promises to the small core of paid staff regarding bonuses, wage increases & other incentives, when in truth those in charge were doing their best to trim the paid workforce even further, in the hope the volunteers would take up the slack on the less skill intensive roles. its one thing to volunteer for charitable ventures, but a completely different kettle of fish when greedy entrepreneurs exploit the interests of good natured reliable people, which I think is the case at druids EX-regular site.
  11. @Druid799, make you right mate, that's a disgusting attitude, gotta question the h&s aspect when they ran live fire clays at the same time as an Airsoft event, definitely dodgy as fuck. As for his not giving a shit attitude, he's lucky someone didn't put him on his arse. Everybody lost money over the last 18 months, doesn't mean you abandon all integrity just to squeeze a few more quid out of a day, prick deserves to go under, then someone else can step up & run it properly. Is this the same site that stitched up your friend, the former head marshal ? Next thing, destroy the mofo on every forum & FB page, as well as the review sites such as trustpilot etc 😈
  12. Regrettably I'm unable to do any of the dates, recent surgery hasn't gone well, might have to go all A-Team on an invalid scooter if I want to play any time soon🤬
  13. For example, Think about any number of war films, those that are directly in contact, frontline or middle of a firefight, they're all gonna move tactically, whereas those films that portray people waaaaay behind enemy lines, say spies or disguised commandos, they're gonna be as nonchalant as fuck, like "chill dawg, course I'm meant to be here" etc. Thing about Airsoft is, we generally don't do spy objectives etc, 99.99% it's about pure combat & the tactical phase leading up to contact, usually in daylight, so sneaky mooching, pretending your something your not isn't an acceptable option. IMHO🤔
  14. If only, in less than a week I've bought another 2 gats, willpower was never my strong point & when it comes to Airsoft kit it quite literally burns a hole in my pocket 🔥, still, my weakness means somebody else gets an opportunity to buy a decent bit of kit, while KSC stuff is kinda overlooked nowadays, it's actually solid performing kit, my first pistol was a KSC G19, still going strong 20 years on.👍
  15. Much better ta, was gonna say "but I don't know what I'm looking at", but I can just about make out Tiger Stripe set👍
  16. Welcome back mate, we've missed you Id like to see how they're gonna measure that ?
  17. Damn right, I once had an m203 mounted on an M60, that was a giggle, although my back didn't agree lol
  18. Marshals in general can be a very mixed bag, over the years I've definitely had more bad experiences than good (as a player), for example, csw was an awesome site in almost every aspect, BUT there was a group of marshals that would clump together chatting shit for the morning session, which obviously meant they were virtually ineffective for that time. I've seen paid marshals that are lazy & cant be arsed, some that are scared to confront problem players, corrupt marshals that change the scenario rules mid game to benefit their mates or the teflon home team, "nazi" marshals on a power trip that get so involved unnecessarily that it screws up play, the list just goes on & on, unfortunately when it comes to players who knowingly cheat etc, they will exploit these obvious weaknesses, it's a vicious circle, the customers who have a shit experience usually vow to not go back, & the site gets a bad reputation so the "owners" lose a shitload of revenue, sometimes unfairly if they're unaware of the issues. unfortunately, marshals, paid or otherwise, are just like employees in any other job, some employees can be trusted to do their very best for their employers/clients, & others not, especially when out of sight & with no discernible end product.
  19. Looks fine to me, but then I'm another old duffer that doesn't know (or care) what the difference is between pretty much any of the AR platforms, or the fanboi knockoffs. ours propel bb's, its that simple, so go with what you like or are comfortable with👍 She's a keeper 👍
  20. I often used to be a player/marshall for one of my teammates chain of sites, as did most of my teammates (but not all) why ?, as a team we were generally known for high levels of fair play, so it kinda made sense that we were asked to "quietly" police gameplay to ensure harmony. Essentially the site organiser would ask us to discretely support his paid hi-viz clad staff, during the safety briefing he would inform the punters that there were player marshals undercover within the teams who would only identify themselves if absolutely necessary, & generally this worked very well, players who may have been tempted to bend the rules because there was no hi-viz in sight had to consider who else was watching. how did we approach it ?, mostly it was the occasional honesty shot in the butt for anyone pointed out to us, sometimes people mildly kicking off were told to head back to the safe zone for 15 mins to hydrate & calm down, on the understanding that another episode would result in a half or full day break, or lifetime ban for the extreme cases (obviously this would be confirmed by the paid staff & was a rare occurrence). we had one teammate who at times was at times unpredictable in his playing style & attitude, partly due to issues in his home life, needless to say he was never asked to fill the role. in return, we got free game days, & they were usually very enjoyable, if you expect fair & honest gameplay, how better than to be quietly ensuring it's happening 👍
