  1. Welcome Alex, good to hear your keen to start playing again, this is a game that if it gets a hold of you, it never really let's go lol. Whereabouts are you in Kent ?
  2. The OP is in the USA, so I highly doubt PayPal knocking back his claim was just the mention of "gun", more likely the seller has refused the refund & provided PayPal with information/evidence to back up his refusal ? Unless I've got it completely arse about face & PayPal USA are now taking an anti gun stance ?
  3. I must have been a right spoilt Cnut, I had all 3 (not at the same time), flight deck definitely was my favourite of the 3, although I also remember having a helicopter game that a chopper flew in circles on a weighted rod, & you had to pick up & deliver payloads, anybody remember that one ?
  4. What a coincidence, here's me & my pet bluefin tuna timmy, & he absolutely loves the the fn2010 The resemblance is uncanny ?
  5. Actually there's not, ukba gits keep nicking them before us locals can grab them for ourselves, just missed out on a couple of nice ribs by me ?
  6. LOL, I need to get my arse down to specsavers, I thought it was the underside of someone's mower? ?
  7. Read the op's replies, it's likely he's US based, & therefore not covered by most of the stuff you've mentioned ?
  8. @AgentofEvil, how fit are you mate ?, I ask as a fellow "gentleman of gravitas", & do you play full on, as in getting stuck in when the whistle blows for game on, or are you more in to the safezone posturing & posing, & keep the physical side of the gameplay to a minimum ?. Definitely no offence meant, but most of the chunky monkeys on sites, myself included, are past their peak with regards to fitness, & all too often those same guys who choose to kit up in the gucci looking full plate carriers etc are the same guys you see in the safe one at lunchtime stripped down to their baselayers, bathed in sweat & a funny shade of purple ?. If you feel your fitness is up to it, fill yer boots, but if you've got even the slightest doubts, think carefully before you blow your wad on a load of kit thats unnecessary for having fun in Airsoft, even if it does look cool as fuck?
  9. Funny looking compoota ?
  10. Damn right I'm a dinosaur, just ask your mum ?
  11. Did you buy it here, & from who ?, I ask as a lot can be gauged from people's history/feedback, kinda things that might have set off alarm bells in more experienced players. But ultimately you bought a used, & probably fairly old gun, with a "sold as seen" type disclaimer, depending on what you paid, which should dictate whether it's worth pursuing further, or whether to suck it up & spend a wee bit more on correcting what appear to be low cost issues.
  12. Good to have another polish option, any minimum spend requirements ?, if not, how much did you spend & did you get clobbered for duty/vat, & if so, at what point ? Thanks ?

    Revolvers

Gonna throw this one out there to another member, @k.a, very knowledgeable member when it comes to revolvers in particular, he'll put you straight.
  14. Almost a given here ?
  15. You could try the zeroin Airsoft forum, I have previously seen plenty of blank firers sold on there.
  16. I like the fact that he's prepared to "talk about postage" ffs, why, cos the guns are so cheap? They say there's more out than in lol?
  17. Got a good deal on a boneyard Secutor Velites gas shottie & hard case, hopefully a fairly easy fix ? @Enid_Puceflange sorry mate?
  18. @GabrielLin0206 Do you know who it's been shipped with ? Hopefully not the bog standard post office ?
  19. Yeah, that guys put loads up for sale this week, was in the mood for something new but not at his prices?
  20. Yep, as the guys above have said, your mission should you choose to accept it, is to somehow create the persona of "a new but committed player", so becoming a member of your local site via whatever scheme they have in place, I'd also try to book yourself on to their next 3 games at least, ideally paying a deposit online that gives you a receipt as proof. Given that it takes next to no time to ship kit around the world, you need to get your finger out, receipts dated after customs grab your rif won't convince anybody, & you'll lose your rifle☹️
  21. If your in the UK, & you modify or manufacture an airsoft gun that is capable of full auto fire & that also exceeds a very specific fps/joule limit, then you have technically broken the law, irrespective of where your planning on exporting it to ?. So while we as players usually do our utmost to ensure Airsoft is viewed in a positive AND LEGAL manner in order to ensure the longevity of our hobby, here we have a retailer who is blase enough to break the law, & stupid enough to broadcast that fact to anyone that has Internet access. ? If they're prepared to offer those services to overseas clients, that's between them & the overseas client, but the minute they broadcast it, it becomes an issue that has the potential to affect all UK players.
  22. The latter, & on here they usually get called out on it, the exceptional ones get "honoured" with a mention on "Macks" ?
  23. There's a lot of stories about people's experiences importing rifs, some good & some bad, problem you have is that if yours gets stopped & you can't provide proof of a legal defence, there's a good chance it may be destroyed, or a slim chance it will be returned to the sender. Alternatively (fingers crossed?), yours may slip through the net without anybody spotting it (but I wouldn't hold your breath ?) One member in particular has a lot of experience in importing from Italy, & the pitfalls when stuff gets stopped, @Asomodai will hopefully be along soon to enlighten as to if you have any options, in the meantime keep tracking your parcel if possible, might allow you to intercede if it stops moving & you've got a rough idea where ? Good luck

    THE TM MWS thread

I don't even have an mws, but scrolling through the forum on my phone it previews part of the last reply, the text above was what I saw?, needless to say I had to click on it to get some context, otherwise I'd have probably had bad dreams tonight lol
  25. It does, & in the hands of someone with a bit of common sense it would probably never be an issue, but with advent of social media & the established open forums, people feel the need to show things off or share their work. Hence the need for some common sense when it comes to lawful stuff, making deacts able to propel projectiles, even if it is low powered bb's is an obvious (to some?) no-no.
