When it comes to site reviews, I tend to treat them like a potential rif purchase, so look at the reviewers other content & try to gauge the "calibre" of the person behind it before considering its content. As for the breakdown of "sides" , my old (& fairly large) team was known for fair & balanced play, so the owners of our old group of home sites would often split us between sides, with the proviso that we would player/marshal, encourage positive & productive play, plus I'm sure we all like to play against your mates occasionally just for the craic & bantz 😜

Most definitely, even worse are the "MATES" of the staff, literally act as if no rules apply to them, something I've witnessed for myself at many sites.

No, but given the travelling involved for me to attend, I'd have to hear a lot more positives about before I'd consider it. & that goes for any site or event really, spunking a load of money on fuel, then adding green fees on top, I'd be severely pissed if I then had a shite time due to organisation or wholesale cheating. The doped up fucktards I could just about tolerate, as long as its not at playtime etc.

I find it kinda funny that some people are talking about drinking & drugtaking as a means to wind down & relax after a "hard" days skirmishing. For me, skirmishing is my relaxation from the pressures of everyday life, I thought that was the whole point of any hobby or amateur sporting pastime. Is the gameplay so poor at the naf that people need drugs to get over it ?, or is it all those speshul operators who think they're so hardcore that a full weekend of non stop walting needs some serious "gear" to recover with ? 🤔

Its got feck all with getting old, some of us would just rather not be around doped up twats, especially when there's the possibility of Airsoft being involved, it's hard enough to enforce safe play with some idiots, what they gonna be like if their toking🤪🤯

Amen 100%, I've camped, done 72hr pure milsims, various other crap, often in the worst conditions, all on the understanding that the gameplay & organisation will be top notch, anything less & I'm not interested. Hence why in all the years I've been playing, never even considered doing the naf, it's reputation precedes it, bit like most AI500's lol.

I should actually own up to not having owned a pc for many years, imho they're one of the least practical pieces of kit with more cons than pros. Chest rigs or similar ftw, or even a manbag in the summer, much less restrictive. But pc belly is a real thing, a bad thing lol.

Similar incident occurred at rype village, fibua training area at Lydd camp, for years it mirrored your average Belfast terraces, then it kicked off in the sandpit, to which the mod's concerted effort to ensure realism, was to mock up a mosque/minaret with a few large drainage pipes etc, hardly convincing but sure enough some pictures got out (not sure if it was during an airsoft event ?), made it in to the press, who obviously wouldn't want to make anything of it 🤣, & a shitstorm ensued. As a result, absolutely no filming or still photography on site EVER AGAIN🤬
