  1. I'm down on the coast/Romney Marsh, so quite a large rural & desolate area potentially, hence why I'm thinking scopes with a bit of range rather than those infrared thermal vertical jobbies. & yep, £1100 seems to be the general starting price, tried looking s/h but there's feck all about unfortunately.
  2. Hey guys, wasn't sure what category to list this thread in ?, but here we go. Got a lost kitty, wife's doing her pieces, loads of other unfortunate shit going on at the moment & kitty going walkabout is literally the last straw & triggered lunacy lol. Anyway, someone suggested thermal imaging kit, & I thought hhmmmm, there's an opportunity😏 So my question relates to affordable thermal scopes that could be utilised in the search for Woody the cat, & also transition towards Airsoft use if possible. Obviously I know shite about these, so anybody with experience of this stuff I'd appreciate your advice. Many thanks as always guys👍😁
  3. Just spotted this on fb, definitely a contender for knob-itchs next camo pattern. Is it wrong that I'd buy it 🤣
  4. I'm disappointed, got all excited to see what an SGR was ?, Turns out it's just another AR variant with tweaks, just what Airsoft needs ffs ☹️
  5. Thank you Colin, I played a site literally 20+ years ago, fort Amherst in Chatham, at the time two brothers from the Reading area had secured access to running the site, nice guys who were driving for 2-3 hours each way, but had no idea what they were doing. The day was shite, more delays than I've ever experienced, which obviously impacts the playing time, which was also pretty crap as the game scenario's in use didn't work for the site. I could have packed up & pissed off quietly vowing never to go back, but instead I pulled them & their marshals, told them how bad it was & why, which they responded surprisingly well to, but then warned them that my thoughts would also end up online on whatever forums I was using at the time. There was no malice between us, & two weeks later they appointed someone local & experienced to run the site on their behalf, saving them a mental schlep every 2 weeks, & the site became a great place to visit with a good reputation, everyone's a winner😁. But if a site organiser is going to correct the negatives, he firstly needs to know about them, & hopefully hasn't got his his head so far up his own arse that he can accept constructive criticism, that's often the biggest stumbling block, ego's etc. 😏
  6. No offence mate, according to your activity log you've only been playing a few weeks, some of us have been playing for decades, & one thing that pisses people off is wasting time & money visiting a site that turns out to be a shit house, possibly run by inept incompetents ?. Naming sites doesn't guarantee their downfall, but it does hopefully trigger two responses, the first being that members here will openly discuss the pros & cons of said site, the second is that hopefully the site gets to hear about what's being said about them, & if they care one iota about their future revenue stream, they'll try to address the negatives ? Its not about telling tales, technically you've already done that, it's about looking out for your fellow players in the community, we all pay for the right to play, no sites pay us, shouldn't we do our best to ensure the experience is as good as it can be ? 🤔
  7. & the site that we should all avoid like the plague IS ????? 🤔
  8. All I can say is that anyone that feels mugged off by the AI500, or even the NAF, you've kinda got yourself to blame, historically both events have a very chequered & well publicised history, AI events have pretty much always been crap, sometimes mediocre crap, but more often than not absolute dogshit crap, & the NAF is what it is, it's good & bad points have been well documented & fairly consistent, so players should know what to expect & know whether that's what they want out of an event. Google, forums, & even fb is your friend, piss easy to consult them before you pay your deposits & potentially piss your hard earned down the shitter😏
  9. All very well, assuming the team behind the event, possibly the same people marshaling it, aren't themselves a notorious bunch of cheats on the playing field ?, & probably don't give a fuck. Allegedly 😏
  10. Despite the repeated shitshows taking place, 5 minutes after the bookings page for the latest AI500 went live..........
  11. Sorry to hear your packing up mate😕

Hey mate, sorry to hear we're losing another player, glad it's not health issues though 🤞. Forum rules are that all sales need a price, can be a ballpark figure for the lot, or individually priced items, how much & in what quantities is down to you & prospective buyers via pm's. Good luck

Lovely gun, had one myself for about 18 years, & as you say, "they never miss a beat", but it's an m4s-system, not an A1. & your missing the rear sight, do you still have it ?
  14. Last one I sold went for £40-ish, no wonder I'm always poor lol (edit: i should probably admit that I usually sell stuff for close to what I paid - /+, cos that's the kinda nice guy (aka mug😭) that I am)
  15. LOL, I'm still trying to figure it out, is it meant to resemble a T-Rex head or summat ? 🤔
  16. We've all seen "Love Actually", once they hear his accent, he'll be fighting the hotties off with a shitty stick 🤣
  17. Be aware that without citizenship I'm pretty sure you can't own a firearm in most if not all states, I've two sisters out there, both British born but one has dual citizenship & has pistols, the other doesn't & has feck all, but thankfully it's offset by her US born redneck hubby's arsenal lol (PS, they're in Missouri)
  18. Not mine, in fact not even Airsoft, but I like it in a weird kinky way lol😋 (someone should make one for Airsoft) https://m.facebook.com/groups/1027867587386572/permalink/2175272602646059/
  19. Obviously this isn't the owner of zero one the day after the naf 😏
  20. Sorry to hear that mate, obviously based on previous naf's it was the expected outcome, but I think many players, yourself included, hope that the organisers learn from every previous clusterfuck & work hard to improve it. Thing is, I've been playing for years but never been there, nor am I considering going so my comments are based on what others have reported, but it does make me wonder where the blame lies ?.......... Is the issue the percentage of players that that go mainly for the social piss up, but don't wholeheartedly take the skirmish aspect seriously, then vice versa there's the players who hope for an epic ground war given the numbers, only to be disappointed by the lacklustre attitude of some/lots (?) of the players. AND finally there's the organisers, are they crap or out of their depth trying to stage manage such a large event, do they even care less, or is it literally like trying to herd 2000+ cats, every one who has their own agenda or expectations ?????????????
