  1. Oooh Multicam black, not exactly common from any manufacturer, definitely got your work cut out there🤔
  2. Try ebay, I often see new 8fields gear pop up on there. What's the actual item ?
  3. Maybe he means it was well looked after UNTIL he broke it 🤔🤣 No mention of what's actually broken, perhaps the seller could give us a bit more info, considering it's high price for an apparent boneyard paperweight ?.
  4. The guys at the Christmas cracker factory are gonna be all over this thread looking for new material. Not joking lol 👍
  5. Gearbox ??????, on a Hi-capa 🤔
  6. While we're on the subject, anyone here ever tried their hand at magnet fishing ?, I've seen a lot of the vids when mooching around YouTube, contemplated getting some kit as I'm only 15 minutes up the road from the Royal military canal.
  7. If you really loved her you'd have bought her a TM 😜
  8. Gotta be the old skool elcan, everything else looks too small & fragile. As for the brand, whatever you like the look of, or fits your budget, it's going on lmg after all which aren't known for pinpoint accuracy even at Airsoft ranges lol.
  9. Tackle

    Russian gear

@Tommo92Tell us you paid via PayPal goods & services & are in the process of initiating a claim/dispute ?
  10. To echo what concretesnail said, yep bright colours & reflective tape is almost a necessity, as is getting your name/postcode, or something similar permanently engraved on it to deter the thieving cnuts out there🤬
  11. Vera ?......... Blue sun ?........ Not got a clue wot you kids are on about ? 🤔
  12. Thanks buddy, glad it's you, my spidey senses are clearly fooked lol.
  13. The seller is a top guy, I dealt with him recently & everything was great, but the talk of "direct payment" is a slight concern given that a number of accounts here & on Zin have been hacked recently, potential buyers beware until the seller, & maybe the mods have responded.
  14. Hey mate, no pics of mine at the mo, I usually run an inverted serpa holster at the highest point(my right titty), 4x 7.62 tactical tailor shingles that will hold pretty much any mag(plus because they're slight oversize to an M4 shingle, the curve the whole setup around the torso a bit) , then a 5.56 tactical tailor shingle for an m4 size speedloader which sits just above my left hip, & piggybacked on to that is a twin pistol mag holder which when loaded gives a good counterweight to stop movement . the whole thing is very lightweight, sits high across the chest & doesn't impede movement at all. I also run a sling fitted, essentially a length of 25mm webbing that connects on the front midway under the pouches at about the sternum, goes under my right arm about 6 inches under the armpit & attaches to the rear of the bandolier in the middle of the back. On the sling is a quick release sling point, the type that locks in to a suitable sling or stock mount, this means I can literally drop an rifle & it instantly slides out of the way under my armpit, usually sitting slightly to the rear of my right hip, that set up combined with the inverted serpa makes for a lightning fast transition from primary to pistol, even for an old slow fucker like me it looks impressive lol. I've never had an issue with the setup moving or rotating, but I know the original blackhawk had a small strap down on the left hip area that could attach to a belt or even a trouser belt loop, probably be easy to knock something up similar if it's needed.
  15. Thanks bud, I knew you cared 😘 Literally within the last 12hrs complicated home shits changed that may force me to cancel the op, or at least change the date, probably to early next year, some phone calls to make in the morning to confirm my options ?, can't decide if I'm pleased or pissed about it 🤔
  16. I expect to see him on the skirmish field with it sometime soon😉
  17. Never ceases to amaze me how many people walk away from the high speed offs but get hurt falling off at the lights 🚦🏍️ I came off at 80, all I needed was some savlon for a couple of grazes & some clean underwear lol💩
  18. Thanks for the replies guys, yeah I'm set for an uphill struggle with the physio & fitness in general, as my ability to train declined over the last 3+ years, the timber started going on, coming from a long line of big "units" I know it's not easy to keep off, so even though I'll be doing everything prescribed & more, I'm also concerned the knackered right knee that also needs doing but isn't scheduled yet is gonna hold me back a bit from achieving goals, I think I may have to rely quite a bit on Robocop style knee braces to aid stability for a while. @rocketdogbert, your accident sounds bad, was it a motorcycle ?
  19. Good to hear someone getting something back from the bloodsuckers lol, grenades can be great, literally game changers when used properly, but they don't always "fit" every site or situation, & losing them can be a real downer😟. As for go-pros etc, it's a personal thing, only you'll know if it's your thing & whether you'll get the use out of it. One question, how are you for guns ?, If you tell me you've got two or more primaries then all's good, but if your currently reliant on just one then I would say put the rebate towards another, all the gadgets etc are great but in my experience the kit to put bb's downrange is a necessity before anything else. If you do go for a grenade though, you can't beat an old fashioned timed dynatec, not the prettiest but definitely the most reliable.
  20. I can't get to my kit at the mo, but one thing I do have is a couple of molle "handbags", all my load carrying kit is primarily black or od, irrespective of the camo I'm wearing, these bags have molle on one side, couple of rows on the ends, & molle with straps for attaching to a vest or bergen, I removed the attachment straps so it gives me molle platforms on both sides. Regular mag pouches on the front, usually shingles or tacos that'll take a variety of size mags, on the bag panel I have a large shotgun shell panel, elasticated to take 18 shells I think, so if I switch weapons during games, all I need to do is take the bag off, rotate it 180 & put it back on, hey presto loadout change. The couple of rows at each end of the bags have a twin pistol mag pouch on one end & a twin 40mm pouch on the other that takes my reusable grenades. I'll try to find a pic of the bag on ebay.?
  21. I'm bone on bone on both knees, clean out & repair surgery twice on the right in '95 & '15, once on the left in '20 (I think ?, last couple of years have been a weird blur🤔), years of rugby/ice hockey/boxing in my youth, never mind the relentless tabs in full kit & bergans were always gonna take a heavy toll, I'm only 54 ffs so I've had to fight to get anything done, "your too young" has been the automatic response for all involved, until I eventually cornered the surgeon & pointed out that he was expecting me to struggle & suffer in so many ways until I'm considered old enough, maybe another 10 years, assuming my cancer doesn't get me first. He had no ethical reply to my argument, let out a sigh & said he'd put me on the list lol. If you need it, you gotta keep on & quite literally be a right nuisance, thankfully I'm good at that 🤣
  22. As the title says, I'm getting one in 13 days, my non dominant left knee, not that it matters, the right one is royally Fooked too😭. My question to the rest of the forum is have any of you guys had a total knee replacement, & if so how long did it take you to get back on the playing field, any issues ?. I'm realistically expecting to be good for nothing much for 2-3 months, but being the determined old git I am, I'm hoping I can meander round a flat site soon after that ? 🤞 Be good to hear anybody else's experiences following similar ops. Cheers guys Mark
  23. Shotgun slings are much the same, not ideal as they tend to move/flop about making grabbing shells fiddly, especially if your on the move. Much better to have a shell panel or pouch on your person so you gain some muscle memory in use, like any other mag pouch, or consider a shotgun belt system if you don't want to mess with your vest rig. Also recommend a small dump pouch for ditching "empties", otherwise their small size & weight is piss easy to lose if shoving in pockets etc.
  24. KSC m92's had the decocker for years, as did my old TM 226, never owned a 1911 (yet😏) so dunno, pretty sure my hi-capa's have the half cock function though, been so long since I used them🤔 (hopefully next weekend 🤞)
  25. Did wonder, they seemed pricey but I'll be honest & say I've got no idea what the going rate is. Maybe he won't shift them & have to rethink your offer 🤔🤞
