When I first looked at the picture I thought it weird that nobody around him seemed to be paying him any attention, man with a gun & all that, but being old lol, the thought of faked pictures didn't occur to me. Doh

I hope he got jumped on, HARD? The headgear, purporting to be hamas ?, thats another fairly serious offence too?

I Started to watch the video but that newsreader made me lose interest 20 seconds in, just felt like a cold war milsim will involve you making us queue up for 8 hours for a loaf of bread, & then sell me some knockoff levis ? ?

Good times ? A buddy of mine (Chris/LaLa?), & I, cleared the chapel in about a minute one day, more than 30 enemy at a guess, him leading from the front door & me leadind down the stairs, we literally ran through the rooms like a couple of tornadoes & almost shot each other ?. I think we were put on pedestals & worshipped as Airsoft gods that day

Agree, his so called "popularity" must be close to it's expiration date. Speaks volumes though for the site owners integrity, or lack of it. ?

Moved to where I am 23 years ago next week, started playing about a year later, & ft Amherst (where I soon met the SD's) was only the second site I played after Elektrowerkz, so it's more like 21+ years mate, we got old lol?‍??‍? & I'm still using one of my early guns, tm m4s am bestest ?

Makes you wonder why phoenix, & the very few others that allow him on site, still do so ?. His crap is well documented, as is the large scale site ban, I would think most of his YouTube following are initially noobs that don't know better & as their experience & community knowledge grows they mostly soon give up watching his shite (only to be replaced by the next wave of naive noobs, akuna mattata?) I would imagine that knowing he's a regular at any site is likely to deter more players than it attracts, yet still they entertain his presence ?.

I agree 1000%, was actually thinking to myself yesterday, does he actually enjoy playing anymore, did the revenue generation change HIM, OR was he an absolute thundercunt before he started playing ?. Pretty sure he didn't set out to be the most hated figure in airsoft, But here he is smashing it lol

My first bft is one I'm still trying to forget, failed Miserably, pretty much unconscious in a puddle of sweat, piss & puke. In my defense I was fitter than a butchers dog, but I'd either been sick or on the booze (probably both lol), so was severely dehydrated before I started, was never gonna end well on a hot summer day??

Definitely, I tend to cross-reference a selection of vids from a broad spectrum of producers, as well as looking for old skool written reviews, which unfortunately are getting few & far between these days, & finally even the likes of amazon type reviews just to be sure. Even then you may end up with a bit of kit that works for someone else but doesn't suit you, but at least you can say you tried, instead of relying on the opinion of a paid tosspot or a 12yo "operator" ? Ain't that the truth, I was infantry, trained hard like mofo, but did nothing of note outside of the UK & Germany, so you'll never hear me claiming to be a war hero, but first time I attended a paintball event as a civvy didn't stop me feeling slightly superior than my non serving work colleagues, I say that, there was one other guy there who was a former fusilqueer, & his bro in law also ex rgj, so between we thought we were gonna dominate that shit. Whistle went & the 3 of us were off like greyhounds intent on seizing the tactical high ground etc.............. Yes, it was a very painful life lesson in humility, which we laughed about later, once the dozens of donut shaped welts stopped stinging?

I wonder is he on here, & other forums etc, using nondescript usernames just so he can bathe in the love that's felt for him?. Some might say, him included, that he's having the last laugh thanks to revenue generation, thankfully I won't be adding to it, I personally can't watch Airsoft, in much the same way I can't watch the sports that I loved to play, for me it's all about the playing, watching it is quite literally mind numbing (& probably reminds me I need to be playing more lol?). Only time I search Airsoft related on YouTube is comparing reviews before I put my hand in my pocket.

All heads differ, so look for a type that you can alter the pad size if needed. Also I can't recommend enough the type with the dial type adjuster on the headband, so much easier & more comfortable than ratcheting up a chinstrap to get a comfortable but stable fit.

I've got the same mags/gun, but haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I'd already made up my mind to use some taco style pouches, probably with elastic loop & tab that's a second level of security over the top of the mag, just has to be pulled aside to withdraw the mag. While the taco mags are deeper than the striker mags, that's easily overcome by cutting a corresponding oblong of polystyrene & putting it in the bottom of the pouch to sit the mag at the right height, tacos being elasticated will ensure the polystyrene stays in place, but it'll take seconds to pull it out & return the pouch to full size for loadout changes. PS this is something I've done before for other obscure mag sizes, once you've got the polystyrene cut to the right size you need, cover it in insulating tape, stops it breaking up when used/removed regularly.

But I do love the various names he's been given, all a play on "kicking mustang", Licking Cumstain being my absolute favourite ?
