  1. But why would you have a wankergun unless you intend to be a wankergunner. The only people I'd trust not to are you and me, and I'm not so sure about you.
  2. Ask them how they intend to pay, and take it from there.

    What should be done

To sell. I mean, point taken, but let's be absolutely clear that if he's 18+ then there's no offence committed by buying, or attempting to buy, a RIF within the UK. If he's under 18, someone call the UKARA police.
  4. Yup, I bought a cheap JG G36C as a backup, and it's now my go-to. Cry harder, M4s.
  5. Cheap G36 is best G36. That said, the feature list is fine, the QC spring is welcome, and that short pull trigger is intriguing - V3 triggers are a bit of a bête noire of mine. The marketing is a bit cringe, but that doesn't mean that it's not actually a decent toy. Out of my price range for a toy, but I wish him well with it.
  6. I've had initiated a chargeback 30 seconds after the promised delivery date, left negative feedback, and put a horse's head in your bed.
  7. The spec seems OK, but as always, it's whether the parts actually work together that matters. But why waste development time on when you can get a far higher return from buying a purple lightbulb for marketing your next "drop". https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/bolster-armouries
  8. The materials may be somewhat different though.
  9. Hang on, hang on, wait a second... ... OK, go!
  10. I thought he kept it to one lie per video. That's still a lot of lying, but at least it's deliberate, unlike Skylar on Reddit.
  11. Not at their current daft prices. They work well, and the plastic is decent, but when you can get fire control systems, quick change springs, rotary hops and all sorts for the same money, they just don't make a good argument for themselves any more. Probably. It really depends on the specific example that you get: airsoft quality control can be more what you'd call an aspiration. Interesting that PatrolBase claim less energy for the longer barrel one. It could be down-sprung, under-volumed, or just have a dodgy air seal - on the examples of each that they tested. A a first / only gun, for woodland and CQB, I'd go for one of the longer models. Short barrels do work, I love my MP5K, but for CQB or as a sniper secondary. For woodland primary, I run 200mm+. That said, the right gun is the one that puts the biggest smile on your face. If the heart say stubby, go for it. Worst case, you can throw a silencer and longer inner barrel on it for outdoor use (and spring, and cylinder and...), that's common enough.
  12. Salma Hayek is 56, your argument is invalid. You just need the right outfit.
  13. Well, the tappet plate and spring are small beer, but it may just be that the tappet isn't engaged on the nozzle. Either way, it's going to have to come apart to find out, so you may as well strip it down now rather than waiting for the parts. While you're at it, I'd note that being knocked back on the day for being hot will run you more than a basic chrono. Sorry to hear that you've bought a "project gun". I'd assume that about anything bought used, which is why I very rarely take a gamble on "minted, mate, skirmished once, not for me" bargains.
  14. You know I have a memepic for that, right? If you have a £150 one, I'd play with that, at least until you're confident with the sites and hazards.
  15. That's actually a decent attitude. Turn up to get shot, rather than expecting a fantasy YouTube kill ratio, and you'll have a blast. It is a fun hobby. If you get a chance, I'd recommend trying both woodland and indoor CQB as they can be quite different experiences. Filmsim / immersion events are also worth a go, once you've got some experience under your belt. You'll get a massive adrenaline hit from your first day, and it'll be the bestest hobby ever: just try not to come home and blow mortgage money on buying the bestest toy guns ever, at least not right away. Renting for a couple of months until you have site membership / a UKARA number is a good way to avoid making expensive mistakes. Spend the time cadging goes with a variety of guns - airsofters really do tend to be a friendly bunch, and we love showing off our toys.
  16. We can hope, but performance in RC racing is objective, while in airsoft, the narratives in our head are as important as cruel reality. We're still at this energy.
  17. Typical clickbait unboxing review. OP didn't even cover whether this 0.35J beast has a "fully working safety switch". I feel unsafe just reading this without knowing!
  18. Polite FYI, if you post in text from an app or web page in without selecting "Paste as plain text instead", then those of us reading in best mode, dark mode, can end up seeing this:
  19. For someone who wants exactly that package, and doesn't mind taking a gamble that they'll receive something fully functional, or anything at all for that matter, and won't balk at being stung for postage and doubtless PayPal fees too, it's a steal.
