Do eeet and film eeeeeet.

I'd go with that as a working assumption, or the PTFE shenanigans has skewed it. Pull it apart and put it back together before assuming anything is seriously wrong.
-
You've got me second-guessing myself, but IIRC there's a single spring in the ASG tri-shots, driving three pistons. That's how the CYMA tri-shots work (which I also have and wouldn't recommend disassembling!) - or rather two concentric springs. So, yes, which one would you "upgrade", and to what? Dunno about other brands, but everything's just a clone of a clone of a clone, innit.
-
Lulz it is then. Do eeeeet.
-
I now find it "necessary" to invite Major Move-Up to lead by example.
-
Upgraded to what? Chronoing at what? Given the number of screws buzzed straight into fragile plastic holding these things together, I wouldn't want one that's been apart once, let alone enough times to find a spring that actually works better than the stock one. I could be wrong, but that looks more shiny than my ASG Franchi.

Be the change you want to see, and move. I tend to alternate between sniping at the back, and pulling the MP5K for a Leeeeeroy Jennnnkins run when things bog down. Exceptions exist, but airsoft "suppression" isn't all that at a typical woodland site. Most people prefer shooting to moving so the sound of brrrting is pretty much constant. Folk often don't even know that they're being shot at unless they're behind hard cover and hearing the tappy-taps. Even then, it doesn't have a literal-life-or-death deterrence effect, particularly as some folk are going to "not feel" their hits anyway. The main reason to try and co-ordinate is because it's fun, and you can build a narrative around it. Much of what we're doing is telling ourselves stories.

Nope, but I'm interested in what problem this would be solving that isn't already solved by 11.1V. At UK power levels, with sub £30 Chinesium motors, 11.1V spins my toys as fast as the mags can feed. Are you chasing ultimate trigger response for a 1.8J DMR? (I'd note that the time to target will dwarf the difference in response). Wankergunning? (Boo, hiss) Just for the pure lulz of it?
-
I'll echo the above. My JG G36 is running: Big Dragon M140 motor from Ali Express, these are decent value for money. 11.1V lipo I can't recall the spring, it may be stock. Either way, it's running at 1.1J with 0.28g Perun AB++ with pre-cock, active brake to deal with over-spin, 3-round burst, and a touch of ROF reduction as it was running very slighty faster than the mags wanted to feed. A zoomier motor and a 9.9V LiFe might be the sweet spot for snappy-brrrting without overspin, on a budget.

One of the many great things about the Depot 1.0 site (really must try 2.0) is that the direction of their "down the middle" slice changed from day to day: horizontal, vertical, or one time along a diagonal. It's a small thing, but it demonstrates that they weren't just doing things by rote over and over.

Yup, looks like Lancer Tactical. I'd be fascinated to see a comprehensive family tree / tangled shrub of airsoft OEMs, branders, and re-branders. We get to hear it in dribs and drabs, but I'm not aware of anyone who keeps a full genealogy for the industry.

I'm minded to agree, that's why I'm suggesting asking more - it's finding that person that will be key. Slapping it on every classifieds site will help. Best of luck.
-
If you're going to stick to collection only, I'd ask a bit more than that, or a bit less. Why? Because the key issue is whether there's a collector nearby who's interested in them as historical pieces. If there is, then they might pay more. And if there isn't, then you're only going to get sweetie-money offers for them anyway. Posting (and splitting) will significantly increase the chance of finding that collector.
-
Yup, the Galaxy G5K performs a bit better than you'd expect for the bargain £70 price a few years back, but that's all, they're not magic. The plastic is fragile and they're easily damaged (as per the advertised one). The only real selling point is [EDIT: was] the low price, they're not collector's pieces.

It is, it's a question of how quickly. I'd seen tens of years, but that could be for big lumps of the stuff, not ickle balls. It's heartening to hear that people are seeing it break down already, I'll have a closer look next time I'm on site.

I may be self-reporting for deviancy here, but the only thing I really hanker after is... [looks around guiltily]... a P-90. Definitely a self-report here: whenever an armed Tricia Helfer is on screen, all I can focus on is her super-strict discipline.

Hmm, interesting. I've not seen swollen BBs at my local "bio" sites, I wonder if there's specific environmental or brand issues at play. Previous research (it's on here somewhere, I can't find the magic search phrase) suggests that PLA will completely break down in an industrial composter in about 6 months, but out in the open, we're talking hundreds of years (rather than thousands for ABS). Granted, small spheres with a large surface area should help, but posters here reported no appreciable degrading over months in plant-pot experiments. I've had 0.43g BBs just start to crack on the surface under pressure after 2 years of garage storage. Something I'd note is that 5.95mm of pure PLA would mass about 0.2g. Anything heavier must be adulterated with something else, e.g. ceramic or metal. When you get into 0.4g and above, the claim that we're slinging "plastic" starts to become rather suspect.

I think my favourite part is "Cyma AK47 with extras", and then "the extras are extra".

HobbyKing UK is re-opening... special offers on backorders
Rogerborg replied to RostokMcSpoons's topic in Latest News
Welcome news, if somewhat surprising to see them un-pulling the plug. I'm very cautiously optimistic that this might suggest a reduction in jobsworthism among imports in general. -
Hmm, that is a decent feature list. Any idea who the OEM is, and whether its got the QC to match?
-
Certainly sounds like he's regretting it.
-
Did I imagine hearing that the Novritsch one is... OK? Degenerate and heretical either way, of course.

Dom is my spirit animal.

Eh. All of airsoft is a gamble, and CYMAs are tough enough. Do eeeeet. The risk is that you might get overspin and double-shots on semi auto. This was a particular issue on my CYMA because the spring had been cut down to get it to UK power levels, meaning it was barely under tension. Nothing really wrong with that... until you go to 11.1V.

Oh, right, there's a "Report this advert" at the bottom, under the map. Give as much detail as you can. Unlike just about every other airsoft classifieds it's likely to actually get looked at.
