I'm still hopeful that importing from EU will stabilise and be simplified in future. Brexit on top of Covid has disrupted everything really badly. Since November I'm still waiting for parts from KYAirsoft who say they're still waiting for a shipment from WE. This is also affecting UK retailers who obviously have very low stock at the moment. Things will get better... We have EVERYTHING to look forward to

Yeah but we haven't had to deal with them separately before. It makes the final price harder to work out right now. And of course the crap customs clearing times that are being reported.

First thing is always to see if you can find it in UK and what the price is. Then you can see if its cheaper from EU or East. With the Brexit shit its now a bit less beneficial to look outside UK. Its generally a bit cheaper from EU but keep in mind the hassle in case you have to return it. Taiwangun is good for returns so if they have what you want then its worth it. Could also be worth looking at the JG M-4A

Yeah, think about it. What do we look like to everyone who doesn't know about airsoft...? A. (Scary) Big kids playing soldiers in the woods. (damaging the environment) B. The UK version of Republican gun loving prepper red neck wanabees Reenactors are regarded more highly because they are like historical actors who entertain and also benefit charities. I think if airsoft were more involved with charity work ie rasing funds with competitions etc we 'd have more of an argument that we are beneficial to society.

I don't think its anything to do with individuality. Its the perceived threat from gun loving military types who could be unhinged and threaten the 'good' people of the country. So we all have the responsibility to keep our hobby in good light. Too many incidents where Police are involved will grab the attention of lawmakers/politicians who then seek a ban as a way to show the 'good' voting population that they are protecting the country from a minority of crazy types. Its all about policies to gain the favour of the voting majority.

You can try to do everything yourself and worst case scenario if you can't get it back together or make it work then send the box of bits to a gun tech 😉😁 Would certainly be a good learning experience and may not be as difficult as you think. From my experience doing simple mods it just takes patience.

I think TG do not accept UK orders at this time but Gunfire do. NOTE: Gunfire checkout says 'Including VAT' but they told me that it does NOT so you'll have to add VAT plus Duty plus extra post to that total

Be careful with the stated VAT on the purchase page. I was going to make a purchase on Gunfire and basket stated "Including VAT" Luckily I asked them and they said VAT was NOT included so I guess they didn't update their website. So I would have been charged the extra 20% on entry to UK...
