On a slightly different tangent but just as ridiculous, I saw a complaint by a guy who couldn't buy an airsoft RiF even though he was FAC registered! 🤣

All good chargers require connecting the balance connector AND the main lead. I have an AEP LiPo for the MAC10 and I made an adaptor from the old charger base so I can connect it to the main leads on an IMAX B6. I think discharging to 'Store charge' is more of a concern for larger capacity packs, perhaps 11.1v and higher if unused for months at a time. I've never discharged a 7.4v battery and they are all good according to the meter.

Interesting results. I remember when I first opened a gearbox I was initially confused by the 'loose' O-ring on the piston head 😆 I assume the elasticity of the rubber plays a part as well.

Yeah, sorry to disappoint you Colin but its a CYMA CM033. A good RIF but very common. https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cyma-cm-033-thompson-m1a1-military

Welcome back then 😉 Yes, best to rent first. Not been to Dogtag myself but a few have been and reported its quite good. (search for reviews) The weather is going downhill now so make sure you're prepared for a mud fest.

Yes, that's cheating the chrono and that kind of power isn't needed for an indoor site. Lots of people actually use pistols instead. Even doing the dick move using full hop to pass chrono they do vary in accuracy so being that close it still might fail. Best to get an M100 or clip the one you have as Roger suggested.

I can't comment on long-term use but I did have a Co2 version KJW CZ75 (KP-09). It worked very well and I never had any problems with it though I didn't use it very much and eventually sold it. I believe the Co2 versions have a stronger nozzle/valve system to deal with the higher pressure so as long as its sold as a Co2 version it should be fine. The reasons I'm not keen on Co2 pistols are: (From owning a WE Co2 mag M9) 1) Not being able to top-up gas. 2) Gas capsules more expensive than regular gas. 3) Leaks can be expensive to fix as testing will empty a gas capsule if still leaking. 4) Replacement valves are expensive and hard to find.

Welcome Tony No suggestions for clothing except google

Its normal for the fps to go down slightly when increasing hop as its adding more friction to the BB. 300 does seem low though. As Roger said, clean the barrel and hop gently with a little Isopropyl or other mild cleaner. The hop and barrel should have NO oil in there. Its not recommended to mess with internals on a new pew because it takes time for hop to bed-in and work effectively. And even less recommended for a new player to start tinkering...

So we can't post RIFs at all then...
-
The top section is about firearms with the EXCEPTION of low-powered air weapons which is covered in the section below. Yeah as mentioned before, the 'imitation' weapons could be a problem if not covered by low-power air weapons. It still remains the safest way to send RIFs that we have 🤔
-
Yes, that's what I posted earlier but yours is better. It clearly states that you can send within the UK if using express48 service.
-
Yeah, its confusing 🤪 Its probably safer to declare them as 'low-powered air weapons' Still depends a lot on who deals with the particular package and the knowledge of their supervisor...🙄

From ParcelForce website Arms and Ammunition All firearms, other than low-powered air weapons sent within the UK (air rifles, air guns and air pistols), including imitations and antiques; paint-ball or toy guns; taser guns; components of firearms and all other items similar to, or resembling, the foregoing are prohibited. All ammunition other than lead pellets and other air gun and airsoft projectiles is also prohibited. Arms and Ammunition - low powered air weapons Low-powered air weapons (air rifles, air guns and air pistols), together with lead pellets and other airgun and airsoft projectiles, can be sent but are subject to the following conditions: These items must be sent on an express48 service only These items must be sent via the Post Office only, and presented at the counter Enhanced compensation cover is not available Yes No The 'Yes' 'No' on the right is for UK=Yes International=No ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- RoyalMail UK - Allowed in the mail, see restrictions and packaging guidelines below: Guns intended for sporting purposes - including Section 1 (e.g. hunting rifles) and Section 2 (e.g. shotguns) firearms, low-powered air weapons and their component parts - may be sent in compliance with UK law and subject to domestic controls on the possession of firearms. Antiques, deactivated and imitation firearms are also permitted. When sending deactivated firearms include proof of deactivation. Items that appear to be prohibited weapons may be subject to additional checks and delays. Use 1st Class as the minimum service. The senders name and address must be clear on the packaging. Low-powered air weapons which exceed the Royal Mail size restrictions are accepted by Parcelforce Worldwide, using express48 via the Post Office. Guns must not be loaded. Air weapons with an integral gas cylinder that are de-pressurised can only be accepted. Air weapons with gas cylinders that are pressurised are prohibited Air weapons with a pressurised removable gas cylinder which is still attached are prohibited Must be packed in rigid outer packaging suitable for the gun size and weight, for example a fibreboard box, with sufficient inner packaging to prevent movement during transport. So you might be OK with RoyalMail but depends on the knowledge of the particular handler. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As an example for other carriers, MyHermes lists this under prohibited items: Weapons and replica weapons – Including decorative, deactivated or air powered weapons
-
Supply/Retail companies have deals with delivery firms so a company sending products is a different situation to public sending the same product. ParcelForce48 is the only carrier that will officially take a replica. With any other service there's a risk of it being destroyed if discovered.

Not heard of them before but their reviews on Google and Facebook are good.

Ah yeah, all good then 👍

Having a MOSFET isn't the deciding factor. If the manufacturer says it can run on 11.1 then its fine.

It looks great but so awkward 😉 @Parramoom, These are the cheapest/closest coveralls I can find with a hood. https://gsworkwear.com/products/portwest-bizweld-hooded-coverall-biz6?variant=8930220671019 -
Generally its not recommended to use 11.1v in an AEG unless its specified to do so such as with recoils or some MOSFET editions. If you've been using 11.1v for a while and you're not concerned about longevity then yes, you can use the higher capacity battery.
