  1. That's up to you ?
  2. ?
  3. Welcome ? Have a good look around. Plenty of posts to entertain and inform you... ?
  4. I've got one and I'm certainly impressed with build quality and performance out of the box. Haven't used it in a game yet and mine would need a stronger spring to get it to SPR performance but very happy with it. I don't know how picky you are about external finish etc but its as good as any other replica in the price range. Be aware It is quite front heavy.
  5. Its the kind of thing I'd expect to see in Manga. Mix of Samurai and modern I would like to see a version of that image with pants instead of skirt. I doubt the dragon skin sections would give much protection to counter the weight and encumbrance but would be handy in a sword fight ?
  6. Interesting but still sucks that they have to comply to such restrictions worldwide just because of one region. ?
  7. Welcome Looks like you're ready to go ?
  8. ?
  9. Storage charge is only really needed if they will be unused for months. To calculate rough charge time of a battery from flat you take the mAh of the battery and divide by the charging rate (mA) of the charger to get the time in hours. Looking at the manual for your charger, its rated at 3A max (which is bull) so we'll go with 1.5A which is 1500mA So take the mAh of your battery and divide by 1500 to get a rough idea of a full charge in hours. Just divide that time in half to get a storage charge (if the battery is nearly flat) Storing isn't really dangerous. Keeping them in a tin is good. Charging is the potentially dangerous time so make sure to keep it on a baking tray or tin (without closing the lid) while charging and never leave it overnight. A simple meter is good to get an idea of the charge levels.
  10. Welcome back That's quite a break. I expect the quality of pews has gone up quite a bit since then. Enjoy
  11. I put grey but why not have a mix? The black would look better with some silver pen wear. (Paint silver onto your finger and rub it on the edges) Likewise the grey one would benefit from some darkening in the grooves.
  12. Those numbers work out to 2.87 Joules, well over the 2.4J limit (which is equivalent to 500fps with 0.2g) Better leave it cocked for a few days...
  13. Welcome @DoJaL ? Yes, plenty of things to read here for new and veteran players ? @Tommikka I think (and hope) that 'disused' relates to what the site was originally intended for and is now officially used as an airsoft site. It would be seriously foolish to 'play' on derelict sites without the owners permission at least. And even with the owners permission it would not be a good idea if the area were visible to the public.
  14. Used to be able to buy bulk from Taiwangun But no more... ?
  15. Yeah, this is a crazy situation but best not do or say anything that could be used against you. Hopefully you'll be able to resolve this eventually.
  16. I got a cold ?
  17. SWIT Airsoft Co,LTD No. 1, Ln. 34, An 1st Rd., Jhongshan Dist., Keeling City, 20312, Taiwan (Republic Of China) I think they are good but be prepared for extra taxes and fees.
  18. How its meant to look...? Getting the new hammer to work was a lot harder than I was expecting ?
  19. Probably a small deformation or 'flash' of the plastic around the mouth of the tube. Check carefully and you should be able to cut it out with a craft knife (from poundland etc)
  20. Once you have a digital model it could be sent to a company like Shapeways to be printed in metal. Would probably need surface finishing and I duno what the price would be compared to CNC.
  21. Ah gotcha ?
  22. You don't know what you're missing ??
  23. Up to you if you're happy to play with a two-tone. (You can spray it black after you have UKARA) Remember that a two-tone is not worth as much second hand so when you want to 'upgrade' you will lose more on what you paid for it. (most retailers will charge extra for two-tone as well) It is worth having a backup so if you can keep it when you upgrade then it would be more worthwhile
  24. Hi and welcome It would surprise me if they gave you technical drawings. That's a complex shape to scan for sure but it might be possible at least to get a starting shape and then measure more accurate dimensions after. You would have to take it out, spray it matte grey then use a toothbrush to flick white and black dots on it to give the surfaces some detail. Then use one of the 3d scanning apps or an iphone (There is a part for the WE Hi-Power I wish could be made in steel too)
