  1. I wasn't complaining. Just thought it was a pity that people might not find the interesting info and links about boots.
  2. Wow, good prices there Those are US Vietnam boots even down to the soles. (Similar to German forces now except for different sole pattern) Obviously good for themed events and I find them comfy but modern boots are probably a bit more comfy. These are iconic tho 😉
  3. I think you scared him away 🤣
  4. Welcome 🖐 Yep, this is the place 😉 Check out HERE for sites near you and then find reviews of them. Someone local will probably say Hi In the meantime do plenty of reading in the forum. Lots of info buried here... 😁
  5. Yeah they're only dangerous when near full. I got a good reaction driving a nail through one🤪
  6. Yep, If I sell to someone without UKARA I ask them to agree in a message that they will use it for airsoft purposes only and no illegal activity.
  7. Not going to buy any more pews... DAMIT! I really like the Barry Burton style M9 pistol but its too expensive so I found a cheapo version... The HFC HG193 from the shop that shall not me named. (Was on offer for £99.99 and its the new all metal version. Note the hole in the hammer) It took some tinkering with the internals. (The hop rubber wasn't seated properly and a bit of the slide benefited from some filing) When I got it the fps was 260 but after my tinkering its up to 300fps It now shoots really well (for a cheapo gun) (It does have adjustable hop with a grub screw) The compensator unit is easy to remove with one screw underneath but still holds well with no wobble as it slides onto the rails of the frame underneath. So its easy to convert into a 92X Performance model. (Have to ignore the stupid engraving tho) After my usual treatment of a new pew 😉 I also added some extra weight to the front. Its now a nice hefty 1.14Kg
  8. Welcome new guys 🖐 That Special Ops sounds like a good place. Bit too far for me though 🙄 Enjoy your game Cowboy. I had a huge grin on my face the whole day at my first event. Even when getting shot 🤣
  9. Quite the opposite unfortunately. People who don't know about airsoft find and watch his 'content' but anyone who actually plays knows how much of a knob he is and avoids his shite
  10. Did I miss something?... What new system?
  11. Yeah, too much is certainly bad but I wouldn't go with dry longterm
  12. That's the adaptor that two failed. (Note the port for adding oil) Yes, I would agree that emptying the mags of propane and using maintenance gas 144a would be a good idea.
  13. Yes I forgot about that You may be right but I've seen lots of info recommending to add a bit of oil so I'll stick with that advice. Otherwise why would they add oil to all the other airsoft gas.
  14. To be honest any of those would be a good choice. CYMA and Specna Arms are decent manufacturers. The choice would really come down to which one he likes the look of most. If he really gets into it you should consider getting a LiPo battery and charger. (That can be later on) Don't forget the eye protection!
  15. I did use a can of Coleman Propane as a test but for me the hassle of adding the oil along with two faulty adaptors and the smell put me off. You can get good deals on Ultrair for £5.8 a bottle ASG Ultrair Power Green Gas Propellent 570mm (10 X Cans) (bbguns4less.co.uk)
  16. You can but you'll need to add a bit of silicone oil to the mag fill valve. Airsoft green gas has the oil mixed in already.
  17. ASG, HFC, KWC and SRC do snub revolvers but its going to be difficult finding a Co2 powered one that shoots under 350fps
  18. Or Airsoft 7.4V 2600mAh 25C LiPo Cranstock battery with case LP305 Vapextech
  19. Its mainly common sense really.
  20. The device could be a cardboard box 🤣
  21. They definitely have more energy capacity and output than NiCads and in smaller packages. The charging is more reliable and automatic. The only downside is the initial cost but it works out over time because they last longer. Search the forum for recommended chargers
  22. Stick em in here: Parts - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk) Can you post lithium batteries with Royal Mail? Packaging guidelines: Each parcel must contain no more than four cells or two batteries installed in a device. For lithium ion/polymer batteries the Watt-hour rating must not exceed 20Wh per cell or 100Wh per battery. A standard 1300mAh 7.4v works out to 9.62Wh and your battery is 22.2Wh so all airsoft batteries are well within limits
