I put grey but why not have a mix? The black would look better with some silver pen wear. (Paint silver onto your finger and rub it on the edges) Likewise the grey one would benefit from some darkening in the grooves.

Those numbers work out to 2.87 Joules, well over the 2.4J limit (which is equivalent to 500fps with 0.2g) Better leave it cocked for a few days...

Welcome @DoJaL ? Yes, plenty of things to read here for new and veteran players ? @Tommikka I think (and hope) that 'disused' relates to what the site was originally intended for and is now officially used as an airsoft site. It would be seriously foolish to 'play' on derelict sites without the owners permission at least. And even with the owners permission it would not be a good idea if the area were visible to the public.

Used to be able to buy bulk from Taiwangun But no more... ?

Yeah, this is a crazy situation but best not do or say anything that could be used against you. Hopefully you'll be able to resolve this eventually.

I got a cold ?

SWIT Airsoft Co,LTD No. 1, Ln. 34, An 1st Rd., Jhongshan Dist., Keeling City, 20312, Taiwan (Republic Of China) I think they are good but be prepared for extra taxes and fees.

How its meant to look...? Getting the new hammer to work was a lot harder than I was expecting ?
-
Probably a small deformation or 'flash' of the plastic around the mouth of the tube. Check carefully and you should be able to cut it out with a craft knife (from poundland etc)

Once you have a digital model it could be sent to a company like Shapeways to be printed in metal. Would probably need surface finishing and I duno what the price would be compared to CNC.

Ah gotcha ?

You don't know what you're missing ??

Up to you if you're happy to play with a two-tone. (You can spray it black after you have UKARA) Remember that a two-tone is not worth as much second hand so when you want to 'upgrade' you will lose more on what you paid for it. (most retailers will charge extra for two-tone as well) It is worth having a backup so if you can keep it when you upgrade then it would be more worthwhile

Hi and welcome It would surprise me if they gave you technical drawings. That's a complex shape to scan for sure but it might be possible at least to get a starting shape and then measure more accurate dimensions after. You would have to take it out, spray it matte grey then use a toothbrush to flick white and black dots on it to give the surfaces some detail. Then use one of the 3d scanning apps or an iphone (There is a part for the WE Hi-Power I wish could be made in steel too)

I use mesh with glasses as well. Haven't had a BB shatter yet. I think the larger mesh is a bit better than the one with small holes because it flexes a bit when hit so the BBs are less likely to shatter. But I'm glad I have the glasses underneath anyway.

Welcome (back) ? (I haven't been since 2019 either) Hopefully someone with local knowledge will help with site recommendations. You can also check HERE in the meantime. You may struggle with an AEP for CQB as its cycle time is quite long and speed is of the essence in that environment. And it certainly won't work for outdoors I'm afraid. Even though its a pain in the wallet, it really is best to rent for the first 3 games. You'll get to see what others have and maybe have a go with a few if you ask nicely.

I haven't played a game with medics yet and I already prefer the simple respawn rule. Most games I've played have a moving respawn with a marshal there to verify

Yep, fogging and cheating bastards will put a serious downer on a game. Just remember, they can't all be great game days...
-
Welcome Jack ? Yep, as said by our Madhouse, you'll meet people there and most of them will be friendly ? The first time alone can be a bit intimidating but remember its not a test its to have fun. Just follow a couple of basic rules: 1) Shout 'HIT' and put your arm up when you feel a hit. (They'll keep shooting you until you do) 2) No magazine in the gun at the safezone. (Before going back take the mag out and fire a few shots to be sure its clear) The forum has lots of info on masks and other gear so do plenty of reading and you'll be ready ?
-
Welcome ? As said, do lots of reading on the forum because most questions have already been answered. You have some nice weaponry to start ?
-
I must be weird cos it doesn't do anything for me. It completely jumps over the line of being absolutely impractical for anything except shooting dildo's a few feet ?
-
Welcome ? Collecting is a thing for sure ? If you can walk then playing a game can still be fun.

Welcome Spawn2 Emergencychimps covered everything thoroughly so just to give short answers to your questions: Firstly, there are 2 main types of airsoft days: 1) Most common is an open day 'skirmish' where several short games are played during the day. (My answers relate to these game days) 2) 'Milsim' days are for more experienced players and involve a large war game that lasts the whole day or even a weekend. There are more rules about kit and weapons allowed for these games. - Basic English is fine. - You can go as fast or slow as you want. - No specific camo needed for 'skirmish' days - Its not important to join a group on a 'skirmish' day. UKARA is a system for buying realistic black weapons (RiFs) from shops. You must play 3 games with rented weapons* to be registered with UKARA, then you can give a shop your number when you want to buy a RiF. * You can still use someone elses weapons or if you already have one its OK to use.

Ah, strange. Not seen green ones before. At least they weren't the black ones ?
-
Why is the BB green? Are you using quality BBs?
