I've been lucky with this one. Fixed a slight leak in the reservoir which is in the handle. No hop but shoots relatively straight in my garden test of 20m I'll definitely look out for a Tanaka 😉

Oooh that Bisley is gorgeous Since we're on the subject of revolvers... Here's a King Arms SAA (one of the few gas revolvers I've seen. But only shoots about 240fps) All metal shells. BB goes at the top so can actually be loaded without taking out the rounds. Thanks to GazzaElite for this one 😉

Sorry to hear of your troubles but its a good example of spending more doesn't always get you a better product. Yes, curious to know the make. The good news is that it should be easy enough to clean up and get back to the way it should be. Use steel wool to clean the gears of rust. (Be careful to remove and keep any shim washers) [Would be best to re-shim anyway] Use Isopropyl alcohol to clean the grease off and get some new light silicone grease. Might need a new O-ring for the piston if its old and hard. AK2M4 is a great guy and you can trust whatever he recommends.

That perfect for a DMR as long as its locked to semi only

Yeah, Vorsk are definitely not the best make. I got their VP-X and VX-9 and they did need some tinkering to shoot well. Nothing major just dismantling and re-lubing. Most other makes are better but if you like the look of a Vorsk I'd say go for it. Test it well within the return period to make sure it works. The problem with all 1911's is their very small magazines that don't hold much gas. You'd be better off looking at a Hi-Capa. Are you looking at something like this: Nuprol Vorsk Hi-Capa 5.1 Split Slide Red/Black (krale.shop) (Don't get the WE Galaxy, its terrible 🤣)

As Shamal said, you'll be able to post an add here: Electric Pistols - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk) But you'll need a few interactions with the forum first to prove you're not a robot 🤖

Yeah, mine works really well. I tend to prefer shorter arms but its cool to use the L1A1 sometimes

Welcome 🖐 Duno that area but you're lucky to have a place close by especially if you like it.

Yes, its legal to sell it to anyone over 18 but if they do something stupid like walk into a bank with it then it may be traced back to you so do your best to make sure the buyer isn't a loony. You'll be able to sell here in classifieds after interacting a bit with the forum. Spring Pistols - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk) In the meantime why not post in appraisals section Appraisals - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk)

Yeah, active breaking is very hard on motors. Luckily there is a lot of leeway for adjusting the motor height and it only causes a problem at the extremes. In some gearboxes there's a window to see the Pinion and Bevel gears mesh together. This way you can remove the grips so you can see the engagement and mark the adjuster screw where it should be. If there isn't a window in the gearbox its possible to drill a small observation hole but obviously at a risk. Another effecive but long way is to open the gearbox and attach the motor to the half shell so you can see the gears mesh clearly. Mark the adjustment and its perfect. Most people will just screw it all the way in and then undo one or two turns. (Listen to it as you undo half a turn at a time)

Go for the one you like the look of. As above, Specna and DoubleEagle are both recommended, just avoid Nuprol. Check the body material if that's important to you. Some are polymer and some are metal. Not much structural difference between them but the weight is different if that's something you care about. Following from what Roger said above, first thing to do when you receive your new toy is CLEAN THE BARREL. A strip of cloth with Isopropyl alcohol or window cleaner attached to the cleaning rod. Then the fun bit, thoroughly test it by shooting a good couple of hundred BBs through it to make sure it works properly within the 14 day returns window. Then go and have fun with it at a game site 😀
-
I don't think you'll get an accurate reading loading 1 BB into a shell. The gas will go freely through the other two barrels so fps will read quite a bit lower

Yeah, I have a Parrot ANAFI drone (which I don't use much) but the OP was specifically talking about planes I think.
-
Nope, tried it a few years ago with a cheap entry plane but got bored flying back and forth and doing loops. I'd only be interested in head tracked articulated FPV which is too expensive at the mo.
-
Its USD I don't see one in my future. Its going to be annoying if several people have these at a game. Luckily the range seems rather poor.

BL Tech (now RDX Technologies) BOSS back from the dead

While it definitely sounds cool I bet airsoft sites in UK would get complaints from nearby residents if it became popular. -
Perhaps someone will comment who actually has experience with both. In the meantime I can say I own one of the older Specna Edge 2 models and I like it a lot. Unless someone can point out a specific flaw or benefit of either one I think it will come down to your choice in the looks. Also check the material of the body in case that's important to you. Metal or polymer/plastic. Maybe look for disassembly videos to see inside the gearbox and compare. Good luck

Could be that the motor is set too high. Try turning the adjustment screw counter clockwise half a turn at a time. If its not that then its probably a dying battery. Would be worth getting a 7.4v LiPo and decent charger. (There are no LiPo specific motors. Its just that LiPos deliver more power in each trigger pull)

If you don't mind not having authenticity, its possible to attach a CYMA CM352 stock with a bit of work.
-
I've also got one of those and it does perform very well. Definitely a good first pew if he's into the M4 thing. Anything by Specna, CYMA, JG or Double Eagle would be decent performers in the budget price range. Main thing is to clean and test new pews to avoid lemons. Duno about Lancer Tactical. Anyone have any experience with them?
