  1. Probably not with the RMR in the middle. It might be possible to add a velcro strip to allow room at the mid point but you'd have to experiment with it. Its probably your best bet
  2. 330fps is good so you shouldn't try to increase as it could go over site tests. (fps test do vary so yours may measure differently to theirs) If you really want to tinker, as Lozart said, better barrel and hop rubber may result in more consistent shot groups.
  3. Mine have the cheaper pin arrangement. Are there screws to take it off? Otherwise just spray some oil in and try to wiggle it out with a pin or something.
  4. The 209 BFG (Dynatex Timed Delay BFG) are good and the cheapest option to use (about 8p per bang) but I only use mine for close clearing like dropping through a window or rolling into a room so I can find and retrieve it quickly. As mentioned before, these cannot be thrown far and can be lost/stolen. (I have painted mine with bright colours to be easily found/identified) I don't trust the impact grenades as I've seen them fail to detonate quite a few times in woodland games. Enola Geyes (Airsoft Grenades and Smoke Bombs | Enola Gaye) MK-5 are the most common pyro for full throwing and most sites sell them. Their smokes are also good and commonly sold on site. Of course you'll find them online for better prices. You just have to prove you're over 18 to purchase. Same goes for the 209 blanks (shotgun primers)
  5. You might get more response in the correct section: Appraisals - Airsoft Forums UK (airsoft-forums.uk)
  6. Take off the baseplate from the grip and make sure the connectors are properly on the motor.
  7. Less and less for me too 😟 Its been several months since I last played. I hope to go again at least once before the end of the year.
  8. Read the forum rules and put them in the correct classified categories
  9. Welcome mate 🖐 Oh yes, we all spend all our time looking for toys and gear 😁 Good vids. A bit of a change from your others I guess you have a commercial drone license? A good way to describe airsoft: People of all ages playing soldier with toy guns 🤣 Looks like a good site but check here for other places near you: UK Airsoft Map — PlayAirsoft
  10. You don't actually NEED UKARA to buy a realistic replica, most retailers just rely on it as the simplest VCRA exemption when buying online. Its actually at their discretion hence some retailers waive the UKARA requirement for a little extra dosh or face to face dealings as you experienced. The 3 games at one site is not a big deal even if the site sucks. You still gain experience and then can move on once you are registered. Since the UKARA registration lasts one year, most sites will renew for a small fee even if you don't attend again. A private sale technically falls under the same requirement that the seller should be reasonably satisfied the buyer will use the replica for legal airsoft use. I haven't yet heard of a seller being prosecuted for selling a replica used in a crime but its possible.
  11. As above, It means replacing skill with spraying loads of BBs as compensation. These kinds of people are very annoying at a game and are referred to as 'wankers'. (Do a google search) A good player would not need more than 15rps to get the hits they want.
  12. Be careful tying to get as close as possible to 350fps because chrono readings do vary so it might show higher on theirs. Does that CYMA have a full metal tooth piston rack? If not its more likely to strip ...and 28rps in definitely in wanker territory
  13. You can use 11.1v but it will likely break something very quickly. The internals must run super smooth and be made with components that can handle such power. The parts inside will wear faster and any problems will result in more severe failure.
  14. Just use the 'Report' option in any post and the shit will be wiped away.
  15. I've bought a few replicas from them. They are legit but test thoroughly when you receive it... I had to tinker with a few to get them to work properly. I haven't dealt with an actual return but google reviews seem to indicate it might be a bit of a mare.
  16. I didn't test in winter. TM is definitely the king for blowback winter use. Or the ASG/STTI non blowback MK23
  17. In theory yes, a lighter slide will potentially be more gas efficient but in practical terms its a bit more complicated as it also depends on the efficiency of the gas mechanism and nozzle / hop seal. Tokyo Marui's will always be the most efficient because of the plastic slides and quality of internals. My WE M9A1 V2 has a super smooth action so I really like it. I don't know how gas efficient it is compared to others but it will easily empty a couple of mags worth of BBs
  18. Welcome back 🖐 Check out here for sites near you: UK Airsoft Map — PlayAirsoft
  19. Welcome 🖐 Mesh lower face guard is recommended as its protective without adding to heat or goggle fogging. They're cheap too.
  20. Yeah the Specna Arms SA-C10 is reportedly 1.9kg Unfortunately there is a general lack of supply in the UK. I believe its due to the problems in China and is likely to get worse.
  21. AEPs (Auto Electric Pistols) might be OK for CQB but trigger response is slow which isn't good in that situation and aren't powerful enough for woodland games. The P90 could be a good contender if you like the style. The cheaper ones (CYMA/JG) seem to be hard to find now though.
  22. GBBs tend to be easily outgunned against AEGs with high capacity magazines. Cold weather can affect GBBs in case you intend to play over Winter. As Cannonfodder said, you'll need several magazines which are expensive and heavy. Some people do use GBBs successfully so just saying look into it...
  23. Lancer Tactical - LT-35 Battle X 9mm PDW AEG Gen.2 | Patrol Base UK 1.7kg (I can't comment on performance but should be useable for outdoor games) EDIT: Reviews seem to be positive. Search 'Lancer Tactical LT-35'
