Depends on the budget of course.

Cant go wrong with the TM M4 patriot high cycle. No need for upgrades. Just works.

Have you considered a ICS SiG 551 plastic model?

Lightweight. Great performing and ripe for a mosfet. None of that gubbinz you find on modern M4s either.

Not purchased but given to me by my old Battlebuddy.

3 Madbull and 1 unknown 40mm Moscart. One was leaking but a bit of lube fixed that up. Great considering I managed to fubar all 4 of my moscarts the other day! But if I can get those working again then surely an ICS MGL is on the cards?
Guarder Drop Leg left handed holster - I have the right handed version. So some Akimbo action?

    Yeah it should be fine.

The only issue like with all cheap pistols will be leaky seals. Which is a big problem on 1911s because of the small gas capacity (He wont be using any 1911 in winter basically) So if he doesnt get spare mags make sure to get TM M45A1 ones. They are great quality and have slightly more gas capacity then most.
  15. Thanks

The real issue is the gas seals and mags. If he MUST get a 1911 and is ultra cheap, the Army Armament ones are not bad. They are 99% TM compatible.

I believe the Ravens are based on the ancient WE model. Which is just awful.

Let me know if you do want to part with it. Not sure what I'd do with it though. Probably sit in its box! As for value.. no idea. Hard to price something like that.

Edit: Its a rifle that featured in the PC Game "Gadget Trial"  The M16 upper has been converted to take the frame of the bodykit as the forward assist wont fit.

You can wear what you want, just don't be tempted to wear insignia or awards etc. Just the Clothing is fine. If the clothing has integrated name tags then that is usually fine as well. I run French Foreign legion kit, I can wear a beret no problem, but just not the badge that goes on it.

As I said in my post, it is not lethal and not even really that harmful as long as you dont start huffing from the can. As I also said in my post, its just Duster gas, this is standard compressed air with some silicon added for lubrication.

Store them in a cool place out of direct sunlight. It does not damage them to release the gas.

    Power ratings go like this.

Duster Gas -> Green Gas-> Red Gas -> Black Gas ->C02.

Dont be confused by the green label on the Abbey 144A gas, 144A is just duster gas.

Do not use anything more powerful then Green gas in the V10 and only in the winter. Duster is fine for Spring/Summer and Autumn.

    You are worrying too much!

Maintenance gas just has extra silicon in it to help keep the O-Rings lubricated, you can use it to fire rounds if you want. As a rule of thumb use the Maintenance gas when you store the mags, but there is no problem if you fire a few shots off on it.

Inhaling whilst using it indoors wont do anything to you (If it did then Indoor CQB venues would have a real problem!). You aren't exactly huffing it direct from the can. Its essentially duster gas which is used to clean PC keyboards etc, they add a little bit of Silicon to keep rubber moist and that's it.

Stick with the 144A and you will be fine.

Just use the button release on the mag to empty the current gas inside.

The Ares one if pretty terrible in terms of trigger and weak gearbox design. As in, cracks in the front of the gearbox within a few skirmishes type weak. The King Arms one is considered to be infinitely better.
Not alot of King Arms one out there as they were fairly limited run.

If your Italian is any good then there is one available here.

Making a few logic jumps here. But it's likely trigger trolley not connecting to the contacts until right at the end of the travel.

This happened on my T97 once where I just held down the full auto trigger on a test for a little too long and it MELTED the plastic around the metal contact on the trolley so much that the metal sunk into the trolley. So it wouldn't hit the trigger contact.

So I reckon you need to either clean up or replace the trigger trolley and/or contacts. If you get a basic mosfet installed whilst its being fixed it can prevent the heat and carbon build up that causes this.
