Not a problem sir , that’ll be £200 please !” sounds about right ? ??

Your best bet if you want desert DPM is look for a smock as apposed to shirts or UBACS as there ment to be worn really baggy so you get them in that sort of size ranges .

Sadly I agree with you , I see a player in a speed S’ofter get up , I hear a ripsaw noise from a gun or see the infamous hose from gun to somewhere else I automatically think “better watch them , just in case” . Just the nature of the beast I suppose ?

101% this ! I’ve had days where I’ve only played half the games and shot no one all day because I’ve been too busy socializing with players that we’ve not seen each other in ages . I know this really annoys some players but as long as it’s not affecting the game day(talking in the briefing/not paying attention/delaying game start/etc)then who cares if someone hardly plays most of the games and just socializes ? But equally I have game days where I’m a positive god(in my own mind?)of war and really set out to do as much as possible to win . Just play so your happy at the end of the day . You get the ‘only play to win at all costs’ in every facet of life , think it’s just in Airsofting it can be more noticeable than a lot of other sports perhaps ? Me personally I’m like you I don’t actually care wether we win or not I just want to enjoy the day . Then again I know my willy works !?

I’m also in the “don’t fuckle with the chuckle’ camp when it comes to TM recoils , as the Borg said TM’s are made for the Japanese market and they’ve been designed to run to the max of performance For their FPS rules so once you do start trying to change anything ‘propulsion’ related you throw the whole thing out of balance so you change the stock spring for a stronger one , then you find you need to change the gear set , then you find you need to now change the piston , and THEN you need to change XYZ as well and it goes on and on until you end up with a TM recoil that’s one in name only ?

There’s a lot to be said in favor of a minimalist chest rig , I’ve got a good few now in different camo’s most I’ve mod’ed so I can get 6mags on them(I split and re-sew the pistol mag pouches together so it’ll take a primary mag) and a dangler pouch on it as well and it’s good to go ?

Which obviously there Tech team don’t know what their doing if that’s how there selling it ? ? doh !?‍♂️

Yet another for the Baofeng 5R’s , I’ve accrued 5 or 6 over the years(both my sons play as well) and a shed full of fist mic’s and D shape ear pieces to go with them as there cheap as chips on fleabay , if a particular rig is flavor of the month I’ll leave the comm’s set up on the rig to save fannying around re-threading it each time I play ! Antenna wise I use a flexible on the back of my rig with an extension cable threaded through the molle to the hand set or a 12inch wip antenna if using a chest rig or belt set up , if the weathers looking a bit shitty I just stick the radio in a plastic bag with a couple of the silica packs you get with packages and a bit of Lekky tape wrapped around the cable to stop moisture getting in and effecting the handset . if I’m playing indoor CQB and there’s a risk of loud bangs I use a set of Howard Leight impact sports with a cable from the the fist mic to the auxiliary port on the cans .

Another one for name tags , I’ve got ‘Druid’ in multiple camo patterns and colors so I’ve normally got one on my shirt and I always have at least one on my rig , I do find in game that my fellow red/blue/etc team members are more likely to call out a warning or ask for assistance when they’ve got a nickname/call sign to use instead of “oy you in the camo gear !”?‍♂️ At my old site everyone knew me as Druid a team mate was known as little bear(his online name is stwpid Bear and he’s a short arse !) another friend is known as CoM(center of mush as he ALWAYS gets shot in the face !)and another is animal(simply because he is one !?) in what I’d consider my ‘inner circle’ of player/friends we use each other’s actual names but outside this it’s all nicknames . I do wonder if the other players especially the newer one just seemed happier calling us by our nicknames because there less formal than your actual name ?

If your thinking about wanting to join a team and have to ask the ‘team’ if you can join OR you see “my team is looking for new members” ? don’t . Only successful teams I’ve ever come across(my own team included) are made up of players who already knew each other to a certain extent wether outside of or through Airsofting , the members where invited to join the team (they didn’t ask to join it)AND they all had the attitude of it’s just a bit of fun running around shooting each other and having a laugh . Plus there’s no ‘rank’ or leadership structure in them either , it’s all by mob rule !?On the whole my experience of interacting with structured teams was they where either all up their own arses about there ability/kit/knowledge (hence they’d migrated to each other’s company as no one else actually liked them that much) or you had one very strong/bossy/walt’ish character who was fluent in ‘Call of Duty’ speak as the ‘team leader’ and then a couple of kids who thought he was Andy McNab because of this !

Black ops Bristol used to have a Co2 ban(don’t know about now as it’s being run by new management) in place due to the vagaries you can have with the fps output , where as ‘traditional’ gas guns generally seem to run more consistently and on the whole do seem to run a lower FPS than the Co2 pistols . So just made life easier all around .

Depends on if the parts you want fall under ITAR or not if they do your bolloxed as their not allowed out of the country .

I’ve got one TM recoil AK and 5 Cyma AK’s(don’t judge me it’s an addiction) and a spattering of other makes but bang for your buck I honestly believe you won’t get a better AK platform for the price , wether plastic bodied or metal . As to the ‘plastic V metal’ debate to be fair there’s not many brands on the market that’ll hold up to even a quarter of the abuse a real gun will take so does it really matter if it’s polymer of metal ? ?

The Double Eagle guns with the mosfet (long barrelled ones) not a problem though been eyeing up one of the OONI ovens for ages .?
