Just started messing about with paracord my self , made a couple of bracelets(easy enough to do) so try something a bit harder I had a go at a ‘doggy discourager’ for when lm walking my dogs as there’s been a spike in off lead ‘ard man dogs attacking other dogs where I live .

Ahh yes but you must remember these ones have been ‘beded in’ for you already so ‘technically’ they’ve been worked on so that means ‘technically’ there ‘upgraded’ and as we all know on here ‘upgraded’ = higher price ! Savvy ?? OR poor bloke got rogered on the original price from a uk retailer and thinks that’s a fair price !?‍♂️

Get the real McCoy not a knockoff , when you fit it cut the hook to match the pressure pad but the piece of loop that goes on the gun cut it so it’s a good couple of Cms bigger that way it ‘shouldn’t’ get pulled off also then positioning it only stick it down once don’t reposition it as it’ll loose adhesion every time you move it AND make sure the area on the gun is as clean as can be . When ever I need to put Velcro on any hard surfaces I always give it a really good clean and a final quick wipe down with a spot of alcohol just before fitting and touch wood ?never had it come off by its self .

Adhesive Velcro ? Hook on the pressure pad and the loop on the gun(so it won’t pick up and hold crud on your gun) what I use .

Similar sort of tac , many moons ago I made a similar sort of jig’a’mathingy to work on V2 gearboxes . My one was a piece of board approx 6inch X 10inch with a piece Approx 4inch X 6inch screwed upright at one end , hole drilled through then a nut epoxied into the hole so a threaded rod could be screwed through that in tho the spring guide to keep it ‘tied down’ , an oversized outline of a gearbox around it with lots of holes that corresponded with the body screws from the gearbox to keep them safe . Unfortunately don’t have it anymore to take any pictures of it as even with this magnificent example of a homemade jig to assist me when I wanted to work on my guns my self ,,,,,,,,,,,,,I STILL SUCK AT TECH WORK !!!!!!!?‍♂️ So I gave it to my mate who fixes any busted guns for me ! ?

I haven’t got particularly large hands(probably your average man sized ones) but I love the G&P Storm grips for comfort , have them on all my TM Next Gen M4 platforms and a couple of ‘ordinary’ AEG’s as well .

So am I correct in assuming this mad little fecking genius actually IS ‘showgun’ and by the looks of it runs it from his bedroom ?!?!?! ? next question , can you fit the guts of a P90 in it ?????

The problem with moral arguments are nine times out of ten there very VERY expensive high horses to sit on , plus theres still a more than high chance the product your buying from a supposed reputable manufacturer/retailer was still produced in china . Classic example is magpul for instance ,makes a big song and dance about how all their goods are made in the good old US of A , BUT Magpul PTS are made in China (hong Kong) fair enough to them they admit it . few yrs ago I read an article (think I read it on AR-15.com) that there’d been a product shortage of bits’n’bobs and ‘somehow’ PTS products had found their way in amongst the ‘real’ Magpul stock , wether true or not I don’t know as I had no way to verify it my self but just because something comes from a REPUTABLE dealer for top dollar don’t always guarantee it’s pedigree if ya know what I mean ??

There’s plenty out there , go on any retail site and you’ll see them , over the yrs I’ve tried most of them from a ‘knights armourment’ type with a pressure pad either velcro’ed or fixed on with rubber bands to properly dedicated ones with recesses that the pad fits in too but I always end up moving the switch to the fore-end so I press it with my thumb and not have to ‘squeeze’ it with my fingers due to how it affects my grip when hold my gun at the fire position . Brand wise their all of a muchness there all just a bit of bog standard Chinese plastic (unless your spending stupid money on a ‘Real Steel’ one , in which case it’s made from slightly better quality CHINESE plastic !?) me personally I’d say just go on line find one you like the look of and give it a try ! ?

99% of the ones I’ve come across have been at airsoft sites on actual gamedays(think I’ve heard of two possibly that where specifically just a ‘car boot’ and not on a gameday at a site) so afraid wouldn’t have thought theirs going to be much call or activity for your offer ? Sorry bud .

That’s a bit of a WTF ! if you found it then someone else could find it , and the next ones mite not be so clued in and start messing about with it .

I’d be more inclined to go with “run for it” ?

Depending what brand the grip is that could leave a big hole in it , some makes the finger spur is hollow .

Funnily enough I’m exactly the same as you I’m definitely not a fan of HPA(the air pipe coming out of the grip would REALLY get on my tit !) but I can see it’s the perfect choice to run a static weapon , like a support gun ! ?

Totally agree on this , a couple of yrs ago all the Geardo’s where giving their guns a ‘to Afghan and back’ fake dusting to look like it had been used in a desert . Hand on heart I NEVER saw one that actually looked like that ! They just looked fecking terrible the lot of them ! ?‍♂️ takes all sorts I suppose ? ???

Would say mate don’t get too disheartened if you have a less than copious out pouring of excitement over it , this kind of idea pops up fairly frequently AND usually die a death just as frequently ! If and when it does go live I’m pretty sure people will pay attention then , but until then ? wouldn’t hold your breath ! ?

On the side of the magwell just below the round counter . it wasn’t cheap came from the states , but I think worth it , it’s ever so slightly 3D like an embossed name plate .

Don’t knock your self bud , over the years I’ve seen much worse looking kit that people have paid good money for! ?

My take has always been if your dressed like a SEAL team 6&3/4’s operatooor or a Spetnaz ninja assassin ? Crack on unlikely your going to cross paths with a real one ?? British kit ? As long as your not being a twat again just crack on BUT stay away from Reg badges/rank slides/qualification patches anything like that as some could be offended . Savy ? ?
