  1. Half term ‘nuff said ? 🤦‍♂️
  2. Matey won’t beat about the bush , you’ve barely got £400 worth brand new with a buyer getting it from the shops themselves let alone 2nd hand not been used for over 2yrs worth . Sorry .
  3. That’s basically what I said , except I didn’t use as many words(I was tired) 🤣🤣👍
  4. Can you image the reaction of 99% of the “move up ! Move up !” Screamers you always get on a game day if some guys in real uniforms turned up and said “we’re looking for volunteers to join the self defense militia and we saw you and thought “ now he’s looking like a perfect candidate” ? They’d shit themselves four ways till Christmas ! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
  5. There’s no legal requirement to lock them away but if you feel it is necessary then just get yourself a fairly sturdy short wardrobe and a hasp&staple so you can padlock it ?
  6. Well mr Smuggy Mcfucknuts IF you’d actually read my post properly you’d have seen I said the very same knife was for sale in the UK already only reason I was buying it from over seas was it was out of stock at the moment . I do realise it’s probably an awfully hard task for you but do try and get your facts right before trying(and failing) to troll someone ? There’s a good little spunktrumpet . Savvy ?
  7. A 100 times this ! the team running it can make literally the crappiest little site an absolutely brilliant day but equally a poor team can make the best site possible a total waste of a day . Classic example for me is my old home site , I always said a bad day there was better than a good day at most other sites I’d been too , until the head marshal passed away and then we rapidly discovered he really was the heart of it . After he passed away from my perspective(and my team mates as well) it just went to shit , standard of organisation dropped , rule infringements weren’t getting jumped on like before , poor control of the site became a lot more visible but the biggest thing for me(and again my team mates) was the total lack of customer care , the new bosses just didn’t care about it . When he was running the site he would always wonder around the safezone welcoming the players to the site , he was always at chrono , always tried to be the one giving the briefings , was always out on the field and was always approachable with questions/complaints/etc , and at the end of the day he always wondered around the safezone asking you if you’d had had a good day and if not why and shaking hands and saying good by and he looked forward to seeing you again at his site and it was his site , he may not have owned it on paper but he certainly was the boss in our eyes . When Dave died so did the site as far as I’m concerned and it really showed it’s the people that matter NOT the bricks and mortar .
  8. Also the whole ‘custom’ thing does my swede in 🤯 not this chaps add in particular but near all the adds you see claiming to be selling a ‘custom’ gun , on the whole the term custom is taken to mean you’ve permanently and physically altering the what ever in someway , like shortening the barrel , changing the layout of the controls , changing the entire gearbox internals ? that makes it a custom gun in my book , sticking a red dot and a bi-pod on it or just changing the inner and hop rubber then giving it a shit paint job does NOT make it a ‘custom’ gun , that’s just personalizing it !🤦‍♂️ rant over !😁
  9. 1st welcome , 2nd and I also agree its good that you did log on to discuss these problems and not just flounce off in a huff never to return like a lot do ! 3rd 6-8 games is about average, 1/2hr between games is the top end of waiting time , 1+1/2hr lunch is a piss take . 4th Marshals not knowing what’s going on is a sign of poor site organisation and not acceptable in my opinion . 5th players not moving forward and pushing on to the objective is standard at most open skirmish days BUT the difference is the numbers of players that are/aren’t actively taking part in the gameday . Unfortunately some sites are just shit and nothing ever will change it(near where I live there’s a cracking good site but I haven’t played there in yrs because it has zero organisation , basically what you’ve described sounds like this site to a T)but most sites you go to it will ebb and flow from wk to wk , one wk it’ll be total apathy the next everyone things their John Wick clearing out the ‘red square’ ! Also you need to factor in the weather , when it’s cold and shity and horrible on the whole the players enthusiasm mirrors it , the weather gets better ? so does the game play ! 6th as long as you and your mates stick with it I’m 99% sure your experience will improve , having your mates with you will make what would be a crap day on your own a good day with you all there . if you can travel definitely try some other sites as well . finally I’d just say don’t take this bad experience as the norm(just a shame it was your 1st) give it time and at least wait till the nicer weather comes along to make up your mind about it . 👍
  10. Bit of the same outlook to your point my self , I do agree quite often rental players will suffer due to the condition of the guns BUT as equally important to their inability to compete against players with their own guns is the zero experience they have of tactical sports so their on to a looser from the get go . Im talking about the player who knows their way around the sport and have their own kit , there the ones I say don’t blame the guns blame your self for choosing a gun you haven’t the skill or mindset to skirmish successfully with . 👍
  11. Well if you turn your head sideways cock it at an angle then squint a bit this one on Fleabay is the absolute spitting image of what you want AND it’s only 20🦑 ! 😱
  12. In the nicest possible way , bollox they won’t break ! It’s an inevitable fact eventually they will break if only due to the fact there made of plastic and not the ‘proper’ polymer like the real ones(which do crack but very rarely break) .😉
  13. Looks like he’s stuck the grip in a cheapo waffle press for a couple of minutes ! 😳
  14. Is that any surprise ? When you come down to it you can literally count the number of good UK Airsoft retailers on one hand !🤦‍♂️
  15. Exactly this , hence if I do hear someone saying a gun isn't scurmishable I think odds are it’s the player NOT the gun that’s the real problem in the equation. 😉
  16. Nothing too epic just had an idea to avoid loosing mags from pistols . Took the grips off sanded the base edge down a bit then cut a piece of Velcro to fit around the screw raiser back together trim the Velcro to correct size and job done ! 👍
  17. I’d say no the problems with them not the gun , why I’ve always said Bollox there no good for scurmishing when I’ve ever come across this topic . My take on the argument has always been there’s no guns that can’t be scurmished , there’s just LOTS of players that cant scurmish with them ! I’ve seen players running 20🦑 springer shotties with just the one 25bb magazine and thoroughly enjoy the day !
  18. You will be if you keep doing it ! “Now where’d I leave my white stick ?” 🤣 Most sites I’ve been too have said you need to be sighting down the gun so you can see what your shooting at , anything else could be classed as blind firing . Me personally I’ve always defined ‘blind firing’ as firing your gun either under/over or through any type of cover where you can’t see what your actually shooting at and you are unable to tell what or who is in front of you , but with the caveat there’s always going to be occasions where part of you view is obscured , firing out of a window(player pops up in front of you) , around a corner(player walks in to your line of fire) , etc etc so a player could still take a blast at close range from you but it was an unavoidable accident nothing else . I had the ‘hip firing’ scenario happen a few yrs ago , was in a sort of bunker complex I hear talking in the next room to me , recognised one of the voices as belonging to a right nobber on the other team so moved up to the corner of the two sections stepped out and shot him and two others in the back as they thought their team had secured the whole complex (they hadn’t ! 😈) who all then promptly started screaming blue murder about blind firing as I shot the three of them from the hip ! I laughed and said “grow up it was only one shot each !” At that site it was single shot only inside hardcover/buildings/bunkers and walked off . Only for him to later turn up at my table in the safezone with a marshal(who just so happened to be a friend of his) who immediately starts shouting at me for ‘blind firing’ at this point I said rather forcefully shouted back at him with “do NOT shout at me get the head marshal now !” he arrives , both sides of the argument given , junior marshal given severe bollocking for speaking to me like that . The general consensus was yes it could be described as blind firing in the widest sense possible but really you want to kick up a fuss over a single shot to the center of your plate carrier ?
  19. So No2 son decided as he’s working and earning now he want a new gun that he paid for himself , I said have look on the forum anything like the look of and I can get it for you . and he decided on a Cyma M14 (being sold by @Majestykthanks bud 👍) which I will admit really threw me , did think he’d go for something more modern BUT he is my son so he certainly doesn’t follow the rest of the sheep ! 😁 any hoo started out as a two-tone and after a few hrs of work on the stock now looks a bit better I think .
  20. Me thinks this chap is being VERY hopeful with his pricing of this bundle , by the look of it after a cursory google of some pricing there’s barely a grands worth of kit with new prices let alone 2nd hand .
  21. Unfortunately I do believe your not wrong with this as we now live in a society where individual blame isn’t allowed to be given anymore , the culture now is ‘shared guilt’ so no one can feel able to make an accusation of bullying or being picked on . In the ‘old days’ it was a case off “you fucked up don’t do it again , lesson learnt move on” but now that isn’t allowed so when an individual does screw up the two options are either collective guilt or diving in to the nightmare that is HR , paperwork/meetings/investigations/public relations and possible litigation all for something that could have been sorted with a simple Bollocking and this now runs through all levels of society no matter what the severity(or lack of) the incident may have .
  22. Well that’s scary as hell , just reinforces my conclusion that most police officers responsible for policing the section of the law responsible for control of ‘dangerous items’(wether firearms/knives/etc) any workable knowledge about the subjects there supposed to be the ‘experts’ on ! PS @Lozart , I blame Mussolini he started it all ! 😉
