  1. Looks similar to the Warrior Assault Systems ridgid tab, so should work fine, you weave it into molle as normal. Edit: I was looking at the IdZ version, which is shown out of stock.
  2. Gary Moore & Phil Lynott - Out In The Fields https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=z-3ecGiY02E
  3. Have you tried looking at Flecktarn.co.uk? They have singles and doubles, etc. Not quite molle but similar. http://www.flecktarn.co.uk/camouflagekit_flecktarn_pouches.html
  4. I bought a cheap mesh mask from china for under £5 on eBay, and it does the job. Followed the YouTube video guides to attach to Fast helmet. Simple job and cost effective. Had no issues with being hit in the face wearing it. They may not be perfect symmetrical shape but for a fiver it is acceptable and you can play around to adjust the shape/fit.
  5. You could try posting under section 'Other Airsoft Stuff', in the thread title 'Other Events and Meets' Put the site name and date in subject line to make it stand out. All sites that I have been to or looked at only play on certain days, either due to other events happening or because they need staff and a number of players to go there to make it worth opening. For example the UCAP Bunker in Portsmouth is open every Wednesday night and alternate Sundays, and the Mall in Reading is open every Sunday and every other Thursday night.
  6. I just chose the very basic lens, no anti-scratch necessary as they are inside the goggle. I would just swap out the goggle clear lens to the tinted one if sunny outside, so did not bother with anti-glare or UV on the prescription inserts. Kept the costs down.
  7. I also bought an Rx insert for ESS V12 goggles from eBay, and went to Specsavers for the prescription lenses (paid £35).
  8. My first choice Warrior rifle bag is not currently available as UK Tactical cannot afford to hold enough in stock to make a new order worthwhile. Maybe if enough people email them they might put in a fresh order. Instead I purchased an 8Fields duel gun padded bag from eBay (£33.49 including P&P) as it seemed the best mid-price bag in black. I wanted one that was not too large and at 35.5 inch / 90cm long it is just right. It is 600D Nylon, so will have to see how well it lasts but first impression on build quality is good. Thanks for all the recommendations given.
  9. The gunfighter belt looks good, and I like the versatility it offers which comes at a premium of £70 versus £45 for the standard PLB belt. Bound to be another good sale with decent discounts in next few months. [edit as cannot use quote on my laptop] The gunfighter belt is worth the money, quality kit, although not everyone needs the extra functionality it offers. I would have bought one had it been available a month or so ago, but that is always the choice, buy now or wait.
  10. Just make sure what part of the woods you are hiding in, do not want to go scaring off all those out enjoying their favourite dogging site.
  11. Of course, it is not worth making your gillie suit smell if all your other clothing are clean and you smell of shampoo, soap, and deodorant. That defeats the point. However, for a day of airsoft you probably do not want to turn up smelling like a tramp or ginger step-child.
  12. UK Tactical have 20% discount on Warrior DCS low profile until midnight Monday 12 October, use code DCSLP20.
  13. Rhetorical question? Various methods can be used, number and colours for each side (aspect) of the building. As you look at the building, Front is White aspect, Rear is Black aspect (think back), Right is Red aspect, and Left is Green aspect. So when inside the building looking out to the front, red is on the left and green is on the right (same as port and starboard). Alternately Front is 1, Left is 2, Rear is 3 and Right is 4. Key thing is that all the team know which side is designated the front, and can count and know their left from right.
  14. Stupid question, what is the purpose of the masking tape?
  15. Well if it is a zoo themed skirmish, then I am going to have an ostrich costume with the scope hidden up its neck
  16. But the cost of stamps for P&P on the rest of the submarine would be more
  17. I have some old plastic drainpipe in the shed, and a roll black gaffa tape in the garage, so all I need are a couple of mirrors...
  18. UK Tactical are giving 20% discount on all Warrior products until midnight Sunday 04 October, use code POUCHATHON20. Note: Have just bought a pistol lanyard to test the discount, that is my excuse and I am sticking to it
  19. I was thinking of adding a cricket bat to my loadout to do the same thing to bat off incoming pellets, and a slightly easier with the bat's larger surface area
  20. This is not necessarily a new piece of kit, but one item for airsoft that I have only just seen for sale. A metal Periscope sold by Patrol Base. http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/airsoft-sights-scopes/periscope---black.htm#.Vg6l0JR4WK0 Very useful for those players stuck in a trench or trying to spot a sniper, simply up scope and look around. It even has a screw fitting at the base to attach a monopod to make holding it more comfortable. I am sure there are some extra mods which could be made to it
  21. I have been looking through the forum for comments on pistols, and the TM MK23 Socom is highly rated. Check this link http://www.airsoft-forums.co.uk/index.php/topic/20481-who-makes-the-best-mk23-socom-pistol/?hl=mk23 and read the entry #13 by Rocky-Climby-Dave. May be of some help. It certainly makes me want to get one now even if not as pretty as the TM H&K 45.
  22. Obama to Hitler or vice versa. And apologies for my earlier post, I did not want to offend any monkeys by insinuating that they may be French.
  23. OK, I will concede that the wiki about the French being 'cheese eating surrender monkeys' is true
  24. I should have been more specific, pasting the paragraph below into google takes you to the tacitical gentleman website (second listed search and not your blog posted on 30 Sept), so must be original version ??? The Screaming Eagle Badge of the 101st Airborne was created in after the war, in 1921. The eagle head was a representation of the Civil War mascot "Old Abe, of the Wisconsin Infantry Regiment. I am just used to crediting source(s) in essays and reports; the internet is full of plagiarism, and never trust wikipedia.
