  1. This horse isn't dead yet. Have you tried wearing the lens in just one eye?
  2. The price is not necessarily bad. Have you researched each of the upgrades? Sure those upgrades cost money, but they only add value if they're appropriate upgrades [for you] to that gun.
  3. Who told you that you can't? I was told for years by specsavers that I could not get contacts, I went to an independent opticians', and they told me that what specsavers were not saying to me was "[specsavers] don't stock obscure brands of contact lenses for conditions outside the norm". I now wear them daily. Don't take false hope from this, but be sure you get a 2nd opinion. EDIT: Furthermore, you only need a contact lens in your dominant shooting eye.
  4. Modifications don't really add value unless you, the buyer, [specifically] want them. These cost £180-£230 new. Seems like bad value if you've got UKARA. Be sure to ask if the seller is including all of the original parts which have been replaced. - Could turn this trade around imo.
  5. What about UPS? A bit off track mentioning this, but I can never understand why commercial dispatchers are unaffected.
  6. "attack from the south west?" Of course, requires an assumption, that everyone has basic orienteering, and can remember where the sun should be at any given time (if they are easily turned around/disorientated). Compass points lack ambiguity, but obviously, do not conform to peculiarly shaped buildings.
  7. How do you charge the battery if the ports on the charger are female Mini-T? Can you just rig up a Deans to Male Mini-T to put on the charger first and safely?
  8. I've tried this, in fact I started out with a pistol as my first gun on hire purchase. The only serious problem I encountered was the weight and fragility of the GBB pistol magazines.
  9. Would you mind weighing it for us?
  10. You can link drop leg to the Flyye belt too. I've not tried it though as I don't have a drop leg platform, it's most apparent in the 6th picture. It costs $54 (Shipped from HK to UK).
  11. Nooo? They copied it and then back dated their copying, shameless!
  12. I've found the Flyye Gen 2 battle belt (with suspenders) to be excellent, wouldn't mind a way to attach it directly to a carrier though.
  13. Have you considered duplicating each event? Or is there insufficient interest?
  14. How much should I be spending on a Picatinny folding (and perhaps telescoping + slight rotation) Bipod - for airsoft?

Bought the £30 bipod from them, spring came off in first outing, fairly sure it's fixable with a blob of epoxy, but quite annoying.

I've had the same bipod for years with no issues :S

I dropped them an email see what they say.

  15. This is really informatively presented. Have you considered the slingplate airhose option, and if so, what led you to not go for it?
  16. I mentioned cap guns sort of, off hand did not expect it to be worth discussion, just food for thought. However, TM make miniature airsoft guns...
  17. Though I've yet to play Milsim, for me milsim is the pleasure of the anticipation when not engaged, the friend or foe recognition by uniform, and the magazine size limits (no more than 4x real). I've resigned myself to no milsim till I learn to drive though. :/
  18. Doesn't really explain cap guns though.
  19. 2KG M4, but I'm looking to buy an lighter PDW type gun next.
  20. Confused about what the other guy said, why would he need to go to a skirmish site to test the gun - the only thing you can't test in an ordinary room is how effective the hop up is, and anyone buying an airsoft gun should have the basic knowledge that the hopup/bucking/barrel are conveniently isolated from the complicated parts. It's rather naive to not test a product because of ignorance - ignorance of the fact that you don't need to be at a skirmish site to fire the gun - or even outdoors. The buyer went to a game day - gun stop working after 20 mins, went to another game day (thinking it would magically fix it self if left unused in between?) then decided to return it? Could have some sympathy if the guy is genuine, but he should have got back in touch as soon as the problem was detected, not after he tried to fix it - and then took it to two "professionals". On the basis that he put it in a techs hands I would decline to take it back, you've no idea what a "professional" might have done, let alone the owner. As for negative feedback, can you reply, if so, I think that the buyer did not test the gun until a skirmish says it all really, you've no idea what he did with it until then, you've no idea if it broke in shipping.
  21. Condor is hated (due to poor durability/construction consistency) over in the US airsoft community, have you looked at flyye? I was going to get a condor H harness and belt, In the end I went with a Flyye battlebelt with suspenders, works great so far. http://www.flyyeindustries.com/ArticleShow.asp?ProdID=0643 http://www.military1st.co.uk/itemlist.html?searchquery=flyye&catid=0&itemsperpage=99999
