  1. There's an airgunstore in highgate which I believe does this. I don't know what "north london" means, but I put them on my shortlist to contact when I was considering HPA.
  2. Try asking here, or start a thread Tbh I've barely used it, hoping to find out the effective range tomorrow, now that I have an optic for it.
  3. UBACS meant to be loose or snug? I've bought one in my chest size, and it's quite loose.

There seem to be two different designs from the ones I've bought. Some are made of a light spandex material designed to be tight and snug against your torso. But you get others that are more like t-shirt/coolmax material that are cut looser and fit more like a t-shirt rather than being figure hugging. For example - US Mastif version spandex and snug. British MTP - coolmax and looser. I prefer the looser ones, spandex is not a good look on me :)

I have the spandex type and while yes, it's not a great look on a larger gentleman it's designed to be under your PC/chest rig so you won't see it most of the time anyway!

I bought two at once, both Emerson, thing i'm saying byebye to Emerson from today.

  4. Nice to see that put so eloquently. Carry on.
  5. What range are these used for in competitions?
  6. Interested to see people's tastes in guns they do not own (high to low priority). No one is requested or required to name or number their current guns. I have a TM G17 and G&G CM18. For me, I would like to get: MP5K-PDW (Fixed Folding Stock) (AEG) MK16/MK17 (AEG) Magpul PDR-C (AEG) AK47 (Cyma) (AEG) M4 Pattern gun with ~45-55cm inner barrel. FN P90 (AEG) M14 1911 Pistol (GBB) Support Gun - Probably M27 or a Daytona gun in several years. Before I had actually played airsoft, this list was in a very different order. Probably buy no more than 2 a year.
  7. Got the letter from parcel force right here, VAT £6.03 Clearance Fee (zero rated for VAT purposes) £13.50. The sender valued it at $30, customs clearly couldn't let it slide, and tbh, I don't blame them, but I guess specwarfare.com don't give any information with an incline of the value (which was £250).
  8. My third package was slapped with charges. £6 VAT plus £13 to royal mail, that was "speedpost" and the other two were not. But i'd have happily paid up to £55 VVAT/Duty on it so no worries. What I hate is when you pay the brokerage charges on top of VAT/Duty.
  9. /me summons Imtriggerhappy. I like my G&G gun.
  10. I need to buy some more, then get to work with a hammer/anvil type setup.
  11. Exactly, why would real operators want to use it. So they can look like pikachu in the dark?
  12. That's one messed up quote I just got a G&P T1 QD Red dot with medium/high riser and killflash, I was saddened to discover the kill flash only went on the front, and the default medium riser was the same as the iron sights. Still, I got the high one, and it seems to work, certainly better than the iron sights. Last game I played I shot plenty of people but I never used the iron sights, not even once (to shoot people at least, used the irons to find where the BBs went and then pivoted the gun as required).
  13. I use the Valken ear protectors with a mesh mask - they pretty much require a helmet, but it means that mouth/nostrils, eye sockets, ears and scalp are all covered. They just hang on velcro from the top of the helmet and rest over the ears. Not remotely oppressive, and i've never been shot in the ear as a result.
  14. Maybe I'm just unfit, but I don't feel very soldier-like when I play airsoft.
  15. What is the yellow screen for with the folding lens protector for?

  16. I do like what the Americans do though, assigning leaders, platoon and squad level commanders - bad decisions can keep things interesting as much as good. For one thing, there's more narrative to things going awry. But only if it is part of the gametype.
  17. Indeed, they might be real steel colours, but is it necessary to have so many shades.
  18. It's bad enough sounding big headed, without looking the part too.
  19. That's the only thing I don't like about wearing a helmet, it makes the head physically bigger.
  20. From waterloo it's either arrive late or 1-2 hrs early.
  21. I can't see a problem with rank (patches), but nor can I see a point, unit (patches) on the other hand I cant see any distinction between airsoft and cosplay.
  22. I would expect every page to be "stand very still". I thought you meant some other acronym meaning in pdf.
