I agree it might be a marmite gun but its better than the tar. It at least looks in proportion all the way through if a little busy. The tar lines dont flow at all it looks weirdly deformed. It looks like it was designed by several designers who never agreed on anything.They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder but anybody who likes the tar should have gone to specsavers.

Ask them to set the hop for 0.25 and use those instead. A lot more accurate than 0.2 bbs.

Dont think proof of employment would cover it otherwise no museum employee who plays airsoft would ever need to get a site membership. You need to get the museum to draft a letter explaining that they are for display/collection purposes then take that along to a shop. If they accept it as a defence then they will probably want to be able to contact the museum to verify and maybe even deliver the items as some sort of proof of where they are going.

If the end of the bucking has got distorted I would of thought it was most likely from forcing the barrel too hard into the hop unit. Seen this done loads of times, you can push the barrel too hard trying to make sure its home and force the bucking lip to bunch up onto the barrel. If you use a silicone mix oil some of the other ingredients can cause the bucking to perish or swell easier but pure silicone oil shouldnt cause that. The reason for not using it inside is because it will stay there and collect dirt and the nub doesnt work so well if its lubricated.

A bit of fairy liquid to install into a tight hop up on the exterior but never anything on the inside of the bucking.

Sounds like your hop up is dialled off for the feed issues. You do still have a nub in there and know how to set your hop up correctly? You can use any aeg bucking it wont cause the problems you are mentioning. Look down the feed tube in your magwell and dry fire the gun can you see the nozzle going back and forth? The grinding noise sounds like your mag unwinding in one hit which it shouldn't do if everything is ok with your hop unit.

Yep its true madbull barrels are no better than most stock barrels.Their coated ones are average and their stainless ones are just awful. Pdi best if got money but ZCI not bad if on a budget. Shine a laser down the inner barrel and you can see the difference. Use a bore gauge and you can see it even more. I am looking for some cylindrical slip guages to borrow to test how true for straightness they are but I am drawing a blank at the moment.
