Got this beaut as part of a batch of stuff. As far as I can tell its all new, never been touched. No scratches near the moving parts or anything. Ill likely be staring at it lovingly for a day then realising I cant have this much money tied up in a gun, testing it and listing it.

I know there are other threads, but I fear replying to those will not have the impact or visability to those who can make the changes. The classified section has been absolutely destroyed over the past few weeks and months of changes. I know it is all done in the interest of improvement but the unintended consequences are extremely frustrating. 1. Renewing adverts is currently impossible. Both for the For Sale and Wanted categories. 2. I personally really like the previous ribbons of new, expiring soon and random adverts. With a good number in each category to scroll through. 3. Showing completed adverts without knowing they are completed steals my joy from me. The heartache is real. Can we remove completed ads from the ribbons? Or at least show them as completed? Many years ago I was "the guy" behind 2 forums. I know they are a pain in the backside and for anybody doing the background work, I appreciate your own pain and frustrations, and thank you for your continued work.

It amuses me watching the Labour party squirm every time someone asks them how IDs will stop small boats crossing the channel and people working illegally in the "shadow economy". Because as we all know, for illegal cash in hand jobs, employers are making sure they're following the law and asking their employees for ID 🤣 I signed it when it was still 100k. As soon as I saw this I searched and signed this petition because this is horrendous government overreach and will definitely be used as a springboard for more tyrannical practices in the future. Hear is my gun wall I put together with all my Cold War NATO guns. From top to bottom. 1) originally a A&K m240. It's has been converted into a British spec L7a2 GPMG using a blend of real steel parts and custom machined parted and the internals have been replaced with a Daytona gun recoil engine. 2) originally a VFC LAR. Ongoing project, It's being converted into a British/ commonwealth spec l1a1 SLR using a mix of real steel parts and custom machine steel outer barrel and flash eliminator. 3) Vfc M16a1, a recent addition so it's completely bone stock. For now. 3) originally a WE L85A2. It is now a custom built L86A2 that have been put together using a ICS l86 AEG parts and a custom machine outer barrel extension and replica gas piston and gas block. 4) WE L85a2 that is in the process of being converted into a A1 spec replica. Iv machined a A1 clocking handle and I have the a1 front hand guard but I Still need to make a gas block that will allow me to fit the replacement real steel hand guard. The bayonet is a real surplus SA80 one. 5) WE Apache that's got a SLR grip fitted as a fore grip. Not sure what I want to do with replica yet. Probably going to do some sort of operation dynamo SAS type build 6) Originally a WE xm177e1 it's been built to resemble the Car-15 used by Danny archer at the end of the film blood diamond. Fuck knows honestly. He's always had that trick of just starting shit, getting a response, then editing around it so the other people look mental. It's an old trick. He does start that video saying he's brought his, "most painful gun". Another channel to shout out is Gun Gamers btw. More MilSim/LARP focused but a good bit about gear setups and the like. Generally seem to have good vibes as well. I'll say that you can learn a bit from firearms channels like Hop, Brass Facts, or Garand Thumb, but there's not much crossover in practice. Airsoft is basically simulating the most close-up form of fighting possible where everyone's within 50m like it's a Ukrainian trench raid. A lot of American firearms advice is how to maximise your paranoid schizophrenia level so you can convince yourself there's a civil war, retreat to the deep forests, and die of dysentery eating beans and MREs.

I went to a game last month and this bloke had a go pro on his helmet, the side of his rifle, a scope cam and even had one mounted on the lower RIS on his side arm. One of my buddies asked him if he does youtube and he said not really its so I can improve my tactics when i watch it back. Pretty sure this hits alot of your statements lol

I don't really care about having a digital ID card. The government have all of this information about me on my driving licence, passport, NI number, NHS number, tax returns etc etc. My only real issue(s) are it will cost a medium sized fortune, not 'stop the boats' and the government (every government) can't organise a p**sup in a brewery. For example we have a NHS app, I also have an app for my GP and an app for our local hospital. Why not one app? Why don't they talk to each other? If you apply for and get legitimate job for a legit company you have to supply your employer with passport, driving licence and NI number to prove you are who you say you are and have the right to work. If you work in the grey / dodgy part of the economy they won't ask for the ID above so won't ask for a digital ID. Spend the money from this project on Home Office staff to audit businesses and fine the life out of them if they have illegal workers. You never know this might pay for itself or raise some cash for our broken economy when everyone who should be paying tax does. On second thoughts if we do go digital ID and digital cash how do you pay the illegal workers? Food and accommodation? Sorry for the political post on an airsoft website.

I'm quite a fan of airsoft Alfonse. When you say tactics, do you mean squad level or an individual level? While I'm not a fanboi, the gbrs YouTube has some bits of interest, dirty civilian and garand thumb also have some nuggets in there. A lot of it is real tactics and they arent always relatable or that transferable, but they can give a chain of thought

Dodgy companies who employ migrants who have no right to work in the Uk at the moment wont care a dam if the person has digital I.D or not, its cheap labour for them as they pay them less, cash in hand. Don’t this stupid goverment realise that criminals don’t care about rules and regulations.

It is very British that we have so little trust in our government doing a good job, that we prefer hobbling it to any kind of rationalisation of how it works.

I've run an 11.1 in my aks without mosfets or fuses and they have been fine. will increase wear on the gearbox and components but i generally gut all my guns after a few games and add a aster or titan lol

My friend if you can have a day like that but still roll with the punches and be happy at the end of it then you’re truly an airsofter, many I know would moan like stink at all that but the idea is to not take it too seriously and just enjoy the day, which it sounds like you did. I’m also at that age where recovery is a three dayer if I’m lucky but boy o boy it’s always worth it. One of the more humorous things I do is watch the young sprint about on a game day and see if I can recall what it was like to have that energy, no luck so far, it was too long ago 😂

Took my son and 3 of his mates to outpost Chester again today, and I finally realised how rubbish I am... At 50, jumping and crawling around in the dirt always leaves me sore for days, but it's worth it. I might have a ton of Airsoft guns now, (most thru the classifiied section, cheers guys) but I really need to concentrate on my skills. All the gear, no idea... 😆 Kept getting sniped from people who I couldn't even see. Got shot several times in the back of the head after declaring a hit and with my hand in the air. It was busy tho, and the two teams were massive. Everyone was very friendly and happy to offer advice and show me their toys. I did manage a few kills, most of them were on the opposite team. but I did accidentally shoot my son a couple of times, but maybe he deserved it.. The new proflex mask and the exfog unit are working well, definitely worth the investment. All my rifs performed well, but the AK definitely needs a bit more oomph, I will look into adding a fuse and a bigger voltage battery as it's rate of fire is significantly less than my other RIFs. We have tried a few of the disposable grenades now, the ball ones with bbs inside arent great as most were still inside the split body on the ground. The smoke ones are fun, and I like the thunder flashes a lot. It was great fun, and we all enjoyed it. Can't wait to go back again.

If it helps at all; trying to shoot the No1 in the standing unsupported like that is very much on the harder end of the shooting difficulty scale. Looks like the range wasn't that long but the target was a tiny little round plate? Pretty tricky. World War era bolt-actions are long with all the weight out the front by comparison to modern military carbines and the open/notch sights on that variant are, imho, far worse and harder to use than the aperture on a No4 (or indeed most guns that came later) - which you probably realised by comparison to the .22. Obviously it's only a short clip so I don't know, but if you spent the whole 70 seconds up in the aim, you'll have gotten less steady as time went on, you're only human there's no beating that. That's a standard issue that people run in to when learning and is worst in the standing position. You can get away with it for longer as your stance gets lower, but even then it's usually better to relax and only spend as long aiming as is necessary to get your ducks in a row before firing. Not massively transferable to airsoft of course, but peeps who can shoot usually at least manage to look a bit better in candid site photog pics I find.

Back when my grey Scorpion was fresh out of the box, made for a good platform to build on. The hype for these has obviously thoroughly died off compared to a few years ago, but I features-wise I really like these as something inbetween the NGRS and a standard AEG. Definitely 'feels' close to the real thing and takes real handguards etc with usually minimal work.

MWS mags without the “mod” will fire 120 rounds easy. That is normally a 12-14g fill of gas, easy to work out vs the weight of gas in the can. One can will be plenty for a days play, maybe take two if you are worried. Cutting the silver tube down to cram more liquid propane in is a DUMB idea. Pushing o-rings into the fill valve to prevent the “gas leaking out when filling” is a DUMB idea. The Marui engineers are not dumb.
