Afternoon guys, lately we've had a run of sales threads where members claim to be selling something on behalf of a mate/brother/auntie etc. Just to remind you that technically that's against the forum rules, specifically rule 6. So if you put up an ad for anything, you're responsible for every aspect of it, info in the ad, including upgrades, taking payment, ensuring vcra compliance, delivery, & ultimately any immediate post delivery issues or faults. Claiming its someone else's doesn't absolve you of those responsibilities, & may get your ad deleted.

Probably have enough mags now. Adding to the 3 I already have, that allows me to carry an absolutely mind-boggling... 110rds for my Kar98k. Isn't that like... a single Tac41 magazine? 😂 And yes, I can easily carry all of them (but it is heavy, so I may drop it to 5 or 7 mags instead). The SKS chicom pouches are perfect for them and there are 10 pouches on the SKS chicom. 10 + 1 in the gun, and the far left pouch is larger and actually fits two mags so I can even carry that spare one there when in the safe zone and the mags have to be out of the gun. Also, as an aside, Tiger111hk is amazing. I only placed this order on Friday and it already turned up. No customs issues, and no goddamn UPS Stanford Le Hope which surprised me

Assuming the cost increase is supposedly to cover additional insurance, unfortunately for this guy, can't be insured above base rate because its a RIF. Also @Tackle he's selling it for his brother, wouldn't that technically be contravening rule 6 of the forum specific classified rules, as he doesn't own it and is selling it on behalf of someone else.

No idea if the price is ok but wanting £30 to £35 for postage is taking the piss. Also the claims of full upgrades but not listing them or saying who did them is a red flag to me. Add to that it's clearly a speedsoft gun so the trigger has probably been abused more than a 15 year old at a P Diddy party

@Baser I was speaking to Jon, the site owner about getting some of the other game areas up and running again as the site is massive and they only use about 1/10 of it! If you look on the map by the punch bag, there's an area called "jeep". That's a killer cos its more hills but a damn good game. Strong possibility I won't make the 'Nam game coming up in September due to car issues, but still going to make sure all my kit works properly just in case... Got another repro colt 4x scope coming for the car-15 and 8 (yes, 8!) more mags for the kar98k on the way. Tend to cover the scope with scrim as it's a bit modern, but no way in hell am I using a crappy zf39 scope. I specifically modified my receiver to accept that scope mount purely so that I didn't have to use the old zf39 scopes or a scout scope mounted super far forwards Kar98k will probably have to be run at 1.1J though because I doubt the sniper ban will be lifted at Eversley in September. I think it tends to get lifted a bit later in the year.

Had my second game day since breaking my ankle yesterday, at Sextion8 up here in Scotland. Still having to take it steady, especially as the site is both very rough terrain being a plantation forest site, and had gotten a little boggy with the rain lately. Managed to get to about 2:30 before my hip seized up and I went back to the car for a lie down. First outing for my bolt action Mk12 and my VFC AK74M. The Mk12 performed excellently, absolutely uncanny range on it. It's really nice having AR ergonomics on a sniper. The VFC AK was just a solid performer and very fun. I seem to have a very strange hop issue with both guns though, if anyone has some advice. I'd shoot at a guy and watch the BB fly right to them, but just before impact it would disappear. Very strange. Many shots where I was sure I saw the BB hit through a magnified scope, it simply didn't. Maybe a trick of the light? My opponents seemed to flinch at the BB disappearing but appeared unhit. That aside, very fun day overall. Hip issues aside I managed to keep up and keep pushing for most of the day, and I think that's not bad going. Still having trouble explaining what Airsoft is to my Physio but she says it sounds like good exercise either way.

I was going to fork out for an LCT dog tail and the ugly keymod handguard... Then I remembered the Zenitco SPORT kits don't rely on the retainer so much. Had to cut out the bottom of the rail to accommodate the gas block (AK74/105 gas block sits more forwards and the sport kit has a hole already for it). Rail isn't very pretty due to countless games and abuse but it looks pretty good on the RPK if I say so myself

As many of you will know, I like to move my toys around every now and then... finding a place for my new URG-I was needed, my AR variants were a little unloved in the corner so centre stage they went (sorry AK's), I've ordered bits n bobs for the URG-I to trick it out (pics to follow) but OMG how skinny is it? I can actually imagine the GI's in VN thinking the first M16's were toys compared with the M14's they had previously. Tried to keep my favourites & gameday pews prominant & easily accessible but I wanted to get them all on the wall so the G36's & Scar-L's aren't where I'd like them to be but a couple of 2 tones are hiding behind the rif's & I'm happy for now. I have an UZI to pop on another wall but my 'tism' won't let me just put it in any gap so a bit of thought will be needed to get that in 'just the right place'. p.s. the SL8/9 isn't in the right place but that's a move for another day.

Wanted to make my WE Scar H mags look kinda like Lancer L7AWM’s - found a guy on Reddit who had previously talked about working on one, and got involved with testing it (and suggesting changes/improvements). After about 50 hours total of printing I’ve now got 7 of these done successfully.
