How much gas do i need for a gbbr
Cannonfodder and one other reacted to Tommikka for a topic
Good thoughts … and may bring back to the method and process depending on the type of and physics of the gas concerned ….. shaking, chilling, purging, single step, multi step fill etc We need an airsofting data geek to conduct some research on the number of shots per fill when conducted in each direction, purged / unpurged etc (I bet that someone has - and I also bet that there are different people who have done so with varying results !) In real life however, a cylinder probably lasts numerous games and each player probably gets the number of shots they need between games and fills and the specifics of the best / good enough fill become irrelevant to all but the most geeky2 points -

Tired of seeing the genre of "bundle" listings where people add extra used worthless stuff (in the eyes of the buyer) to "justify" a ridiculous markup. Most people prefer to buy their own equipment and consumables. https://www.airsoft-hub.com/item/37951-arcturus-ak-bundle2 points -

Which site will you use when you come out of the closet? A chap recently had a flashbang go off in his bag in the back of his car at AP; he chucked his bag in prior to leaving and there was a nice loud bang.2 points -
Had something like 10 ACM T1 clones die because of heavier recoil GBBRs? But you do get what you pay for in that regard. Recently swapped to using Vector and Vortex because they will honour warranties, so if something does break, I don't need to fret over it. At the point in my life where i'd rather just buy something decent once than buy it cheap repeatedly.1 point

I’ve always used Ali express or repo ones. Always held around a good zero. End of the day the zero on a Airsoft gun isn’t going to be perfect. with regards to them coming loose, I’d check the screws every few months make sure they are tight or use some lock tight on screws you know won’t be coming off in the future1 point

The method is carrier-agnostic because it doesn't matter who is the courier, the parcel has to go through customs at some point. Having the seller print it out is the best way to make sure it stays declared all the way. At no point in time customs can get spooked by an undeclared gun shaped object.1 point -
I saw this too and had the same thought but doesn't the filling canister need to upside down so you are filling the mag with liquid and not just gas, which would happen if the can is the "right way" up.1 point

Sorry to hear you've been caught out, best advice would be seek legal advice, but with people that have the relevant knowledge. There are a few legal minds here that may be able to guide. Ukara is only a defence, not an exception1 point -
Just make sure you get the pinion/bevel meshing right, as most of the gear noise comes from those two.. Having good meshing also ensures that the energy transfer from the motor to the rest of the gearset is as smooth and less violent as possible. At the same time do not shim the sector gear too high in an attempt to get the most contact surface between teeth, it's a common mistake that leads to the tappet plate rubbing and binding against the sector and that is bad for air seal and in general tappet plate longevity.1 point

If one person needs to wear it due to the environment likely to be experienced on site, why doesn't everyone? 🤔 Maybe you just didn't hear them? It's a pretty low risk, but it's both a cumulative one, and acute if something big goes off right by your ear. Purely personally anecdotally, I have mild tinnitus that's probably from biking - even though I always wear moulded earplugs - but which I didn't notice until I started earsofting, so, eh. Could be either, a bit of both, or something else that I'm not even aware of. I'm not going to get on a high horse about it, I don't wear ear protection while airsofting, but I would say that big bangs, like wankerguns, 40-Mikes and 10 billion lumen lights, are a lot more fun for the pitcher than the receiver.1 point

Wow. 3 for 1 here. The gun is only £20 less than retail, the sight is £5 less (and that's from DCA whose known for stupidly high prices) and the M320 is a few quid less. I wonder if he'll tell me what he was smoking to come up with those prices0 points -
My old mother was taught text speak by my niece, and now has a smart phone and multiple ipads You don’t want to try and read an 80 year olds text speak that is sent via email, text message, facebook messenger and WhatsApp - all in one fractured conversation across numerous apps I’ll see your Nokia 3210 numeric keypad and raise you the Nokia 7280 ‘lipstick’ wheel pad I was the master of quick spin typing, aided by standard messages (yes, no, on my way etc) but also skilled in ‘spin & click’ across the alphabet to make real English words However my mates did take great joy in seeing how long it would take a back & forth text conversion to change to me phoning them back0 points
