  1. A happy update I just spotted this on one of the discord groups Ollie was apparently out to a game last weekend ?

  2. I’d still rather work on a GBB mechanism than a NGRS. I hear that when you open an NGRS, the soul of a Japanese Airsoft tech leaves the receiver. You have to sacrifice another one to be able to seal his soul back into the receiver when closing it, otherwise it will never work again.

  3. I completely agree with your comments about AP; it is a very well run site. The only parts of the site that we did not use were the woods, which was probably because they still need some work to make them safe, and the far end of the field at Swaziland, which is a bit of a dead area. Regarding the incident you describe, as John always says in the briefing, it is up to dead players to get out of the way. Accidents happen and vision is limited when you are looking through a scope. Calling out someone in that way is never appropriate.

  4. Supply & demand, simple economics. I reckon sellers can ask any price they want, it's up to the buyer if they're willing to pay the asking price or for both/all of them to haggle.

  6. Wouldn't say i'm a shitbag.. All of my sales on here have been reasonable and fair. Always respectful and helpful where i can be. Sorry my price is higher than you'd like. But there's always going to be supply and demand resale. Anyway, ya moaning bastards. Price redacted. Not trying to be blasted on here as a scumbag thanks though ?

  7. rumour I’ve heard from within the retail industry is that they’ve sorted out the legal problems (which weren’t actually legal problems but production problems) and they’re back at it. we might be waiting a bit for the gen5 as it’s more onerous to produce compared to the others. But who knows. Personally, I’m waiting for guarder to start selling complete lowers, nozzles and blowback units. Then I have everything I need to build them without a donor. First time I took one apart, I got the trigger sear and my screw driver stuck in the chassis. Simultaneously the sear spring launched to the other side of the room and got tangled in my dogs fur…

  8. I had considered going to Mayhem in Essex today, but what I have learned about the site just does not excite me, so I set off for Airsoft Plantation yet again. About 120 were present on a bright and sunny day. As usual, it was good to see a decent number of new rental players on site. The mud had dried out considerably in the last week; it was no longer slippery, now being just slightly sticky in some of the worst areas, particularly the infamous puddle on the main track across the village. As last week, my first task was to check the setup of a weapon; in this case, my recently overhauled and upgraded SR47. This isn't one of the more recent airsoft iterations of this gun, being a rather ancient Hurricane kit with full Knight's Armaments trades. It shot very nicely at 1.06J with its new gearbox and Perun Hybrid. The first game involved us as the red team defending the village with two lives each, while the blue team, with infinite marshal regens, had to attack from the border, capture the yellow armbands of three HVTs and get them back to their marshal. This was a tough game for both sides; I started off behind the fishing hut, where a group of us held up the enemy's attack down that flank for a considerable time. Eventually being hit, I fell back to the fuel dump, from where plastic death was dealt to the attackers until one of them dealt it to me. This game was then turned around; a few of us decided to attack along the flank that I had helped to defend in the first game. After a very stiff fight, we took the fishing hut and pushed into the village, helping to eventually clear it. However, as a team we were only able to find two HVTs. When time was called, the remaining HVT crawled out from the basement of one of the huts, which was annoying as I always make a point of putting a few shots or a pyro in there in games of this sort if I am passing it, which I did not on this occasion. The next game had two phases. Attacking from the DEA base with infinite buddy regens after a 30m fall back, we had to break into the mortar pits and capture two suicide vests located in the horse box. We then had to get each of the suicide bombers to the buildings named in the pockets of the suicide vests. This did lead me to wonder why suicide vests would have pockets; they seem somewhat superfluous as you don't really need to take anything else with you when you set off to blow yourself up. The defenders had two lives in the mortar pits and two in the general area of the village. We fought our way into the mortar pits against very determined resistance and eventually grabbed the suicide vests, which the future martyrs for our cause then donned. Most of us set off for the village, with the larger group containing the bombers swinging around to attack it from the direction of the border while some of us took the more direct route, attacking through the suburbs. However, a fair number of our players had become fixated on dealing with the two enemy players still on the upper deck of the bus, which was pointless as it only required a couple of people to cover the two doors. Having cleared the suburbs, we were pressing the defenders back across the village when the two bombers achieved the martyrdom that they sought. During the fighting in the village I realised that I had lost one of my pistol mags; being pretty sure where I had lost it while slithering head first over a berm in the mortar pits, I went to look for it, but it was not there . A break for luncheon was then taken, during which a player handed my mag in at the office ; I was very pleased to be reunited with it as they are not cheap ones. After lunch, the suicide bomber game was reversed. As usual, I took up a position on the far side of the mortar pits where we had a brilliant battle against the attackers, who repeatedly charged forwards like WWII Japanese infantry and were shot down in vast numbers. At one point a gas grenade landed very near my advanced position; as last week in almost exactly the same position, I carried out a well planned and executed tactical withdrawal, which again was honestly not me running away, although I was running and heading in a direction that was away from the enemy. Joining my colleagues, we continued to mow down the enemy until we were slowly whittled down and overrun. After falling back to the village, I was hit in the suburbs (which isn't a euphemism for something else) and fell back to the town hall, which turned out to be one of the attackers' objectives; it became rather hectic and we held the building for a considerable time until they eventually managed to storm it. After a short break, during which many of our team departed, we then returned to the mortar pits. As defenders we had two lives, one near the front of the area and one further back; the attackers, with infinite regens on a marshal, had to get five players through the mortar pits to the boundary rope beyond it. Along with a few colleagues, I started off defending the hill fort area; we were eventually pushed back and, having been hit, I fell back to one of the berms near the bus, from where I fought until I received my final hit. The enemy got their five players to the boundary rope. When the game was reversed, we were only required to get three players to the boundary rope due to our depleted numbers. The group that I was with assaulted the hill fort area and pushed along the side of the mortar pits, slowly taking out the defenders and frequently regening on our marshal. As we were approaching the far side, I witnessed the only unpleasant incident that I have seen at AP in a long time. An enemy player, who was shot at reasonably close range by one of our players, called the hit, put his hand up to acknowledge it and began to walk way before turning around and shooting at a couple of our players who were running for the boundary rope. The chap who had shot him, who happened to be a player marshal, challenged him on this, whereupon he became very salty, repeatedly swearing at the player marshal. A non-player marshal took him aside and was overheard giving him what could be called a stiff bollocking, pointing out that he was in the wrong and that getting so irate and foul mouthed over a game of pretend war was rather ridiculous and utterly inappropriate, especially as there were children in the vicinity; I am not sure what the final outcome was as I was out of earshot after that. We got the required number of players to the boundary rope. It was yet another really good day of airsoft at AP, with the only negative for me being the not entirely unexpected death of one of my 1600mAh LiFe batteries, which are now almost impossible to replace. I am unable to play again until the end of the month due to rehearsals and recording sessions, but will probably play somewhere on 30th March. Weapons used: APS UAR LCT PP-19-01 ASG XP18 Commander (CO2)

  10. Semi or auto? ? Don't get triggered dude. It's only Monday. Unfortunately it's just the way supply and demand resale works brother (don't look into sneakers, you'll have an aneurysm) Yeah i was probably being a bit shady with my first price. Still, closer than your offer before you decided to come blast me on here. Sorry i never took your offer pal. No need to then attack me and laugh about it like you didn't just try to buy it.. ? But i will agree that £500 is a total piss take though..

  11. "These things are like rocking horse shit, unobtainium, hens teeth." In fact, so incredibly rare that there's currently two for sale in the classifieds. "Don't think TM will be making anymore either by the sounds of it. Not any time soon anyway! So price reflects the demand." Well that's nice. Good to see nice honest people taking not advantage. Oh wait, no, shitbags are everywhere. "Don't message me moaning about the price." You won't get messaged, at all probably. But you will get ripped in here.

    TM Glock 17 gen5 mos

I've already lost half of those bits on the floor just by looking at them. TM are teasing us - since Jan they've done runs 17.3, 26, 26A and 22. I wonder if they could do a new 22.5. I'm sure they've already thought of that if the legal stuff is hampering 17.5

  22. I'll just leave this here for the next time it's advertised. so I can simply copy & paste. & I thought I was being constructive with my feedback. Ok, lets try another direction... Your cases are crap & apparently no one wants them, you're trying to sell boneyard rif's for too much (based on them not selling multiple times), by all means set the asking price at whatever you think is reasonable but don't be surprised if they're still in your bedroom this time next year.

  27. There’s a rumour going around that TM have unblocked the legal/production/rumoured issue that is preventing them from producing more gen5s. I personally think people have heard that rumour and are trying to cash in their chips against naive people… personally I’d ban people doing that sort of unethical profiteering. But it’s not my circus.

  28. another one ? asking £400 for something that’s worth about £250 second hand (optimistically). I get there’s rumours that TM won’t be producing any more. But it seems like very soulless profiteering.

  29. I suggest to stick to the AR platform.. I know they're boring and it'd be just another M4 variant in an ocean of M4 variants, but the fact it's so widespread means that there are many, many parts to pick from and the gun itself can be customized both in performance and looks/ergonomics, something that unfortunately is not always possible with other less common platforms (MP5/P90). Specna C-10 is also a good alternative to the Evolution mentioned above, just make sure you don't buy the PDW stock version, those stocks are unnecessarily heavy and offer very little battery space (you can buy extended tubes but it defies the whole concept of the pdw stock while adding even more weight). You can worry about the internals later, when you have acquired enough experience to understand what you want from your AEG. Please keep in mind that while they provide a decent base to build your dream gun on, out of the box performance will not be great. This is true for pretty much every AEG.

  32. This is the kind of thing you are after. Uses the existing delta ring and front handguard mount. Plenty of alternative manufacturers and sources - you could probably find one in the classifieds on here. https://www.sixmm.com/en-gb/products/cymam014-cyma-kc-type-cqb-ris-rail-handguard-for-m4-aeg Note that the 'ribbed' side on handguard in the picture is a plastic sleeve that slides on. e.g. https://www.sixmm.com/en-gb/products/gg-knights-type-kac-ris-ras-rail-cover-panel-4pcs-setmarkingdeluxe-ver-blk?_pos=6&_sid=a56fc4159&_ss=r

  34. "Are you having issues with the length of pull - the stock-to-trigger length? If so, you might want to look at PDW stocks." It's not stock to trigger, it's my non trigger hand that stabilises the front, I'm ambidextrous and when holding the M4 in either hand it was just too long to feel balanced/comfortable for a full day of play if that makes sense (I basically have the wingspan of a sparrow lol). I did consider MP5/other smaller AEGs like the Reaper and Jing Gong but for the price of the M4 and the ability to tinker on it later and learn how AEGs work seemed the more sound investment for my first AEG, more so now I know converting it to a stubby would be viable. (Also gives me an excus... I mean reason to buy another gun down the road... but don't tell the Mrs)

  35. That's actually pretty sensible. My first gun was a bargain basement plastic-fantastic CYMA CM.516. As soon as I had something better, I hacksawed off the stock and the barrel at the end of the hand guard, threw on a PEQ box for a battery, and fettled the internals. It weighs next to nothing and performs as well as anything else out there. One thing I added was a magwell grip. And I mention this because that's all the length you need on an M4. You don't have to C-clamp them like an operator, you can tuck them in and forget about everything in front of the magwell. Are you having issues with the length of pull - the stock-to-trigger length? If so, you might want to look at PDW stocks. But then that opens the door to MP5s again.

  38. TM Gen 5s having dubious availability because of Gaston Glock himself putting his fucking nose in places means they can charge whatever they want for it really, unfortunately - the Gen 5 TM is a bloody good pistol and is the only way to get TM's new glock system for the time being, so while £500 is stupid and has a euromillions chance of selling I can see one moving for like £300 to the right person, honestly

  43. In case people have missed it. guarder have been busy posting updates on new gen5 upgrades. Their lightweight BBU will be less that 10g ? I reckon we’ll see complete new generation lowers with trades by the end of the year. i also reckon it will be quicker to buy and assemble a complete guarder kit than wait for Marui to reproduce a gen5. the last 2 gen4s I’ve built have been complete guarder builds and they’re almost drop in kits. So I imagine the gen5 will be similar.

Since I bought a PTS Masada I had the A&K laying around... Was thinking about selling it but I think I'm better off this way Lonex flash magazines painted accordingly, cheap Amazon red dot to be used on this one and on the M14. Painted using Fosco spray paints, Warhammer transferables for markings, serial number, etc., miniature pigments for weathering. Silencer and grips wrapped in my girlfriend's AliExpress boob tape ?

Years ago a shop called Airsoft Dynamics did the same thing in this country. Had someone living in Akihabara Japan that would drop ship most of the stuff to them. If Boom Arms is anywhere near Kwong Wah Street in Hong Kong he will have about 30 places to source stock from most of whom do not have an English presence on the internet.

Three MWSs. The mk12 is semi-locked and run as a DMR, but the others are 1.14J with the fun switch and no MED. Got a carry handle + 4x repro colt scope and the relevant handguards for if I want to turn the m16a4 into an a1 (Vietnam filmsim) or a2 (90s filmsim). I don't care if the Hogue grip isn't period accurate, A2 pistol grips suck and I hate them Outside my m700s, these are the other guns I tend to use a lot. I like my gas guns!

    LCT M60 Series.

One thing to consider though... If they are producing another run of the original M60, they normally have a rather comprehensive range of spares. So if you wanted a proper hanger bracket and trigger group for the A&K it may be available. Not cheap, but cheaper than buying a full gun!
