This afternon I went and played at First and Only The Vault in Bury Ive played here multiple times now and it will be the site where I get my UKARA from next month Its really well run and offers some good CQB due to the nature of the setup, with plenty of corridors and turns to set up ambushes in We played a total of 5 games in the 3 hour slot with approx 5 mins break in between games First off was a standard team deathmatch to get warmed up and test the gear out, and for the renters to figure out the map. I even managed to knife kill my eldest lad for my first kill of the day, he was not happy and I think it made him hunt me down even more than normal. 2nd game was Domination. This is my favourite game mode. Today I decided to patrol the lab area and lock that down as best I could. I managed to take down over half the team on multiple occasions by being a sneaky bastard and getting behind them, making for some vey easy kills. 3rd game was Find the bombs. A total of 3 bombs were hidden in the map and you had to find them and return them to you spwan. We found all 3 pretty quickly, so the marshalls decided to take 2 from us and hide them again. This mode was pretty much a team detahmatch after that as we had already won. 4th game was a free for all, Im not really sure this mode works to well to be honest as you get the idiots shooting you, and then just waiting round the corner for your 10 second count to finish before shootng you again. Sort of takes the fun out of it, but I guess with a decent set of players this wont happen. Final game was another team deathmatch as the majority of the renters had quit after game 4, I think they were fed up of getting shot tbh. Next week may be a week off, but heading back to Level 2 the following Saturday

@Tackle Minor update - I saw Alex (Rampage) today at his new job (not airsoft related) - the intention still is bring the Z1 forums back, but he's somewhat busy with life and adjusting to new employment etc.

Hello, Looking at getting a new AEG soon and want to get one of the preupgraded M4s that are knocking about these days. The current front place for me is the new Specna Prime, alternative was the delta armories competitor (Diamond series ? Cant remember the name), but im not sure how well reviewed they are. I was wondering if anyone who has been using the new prime for a while has a review to leave, Did they hold up ?

With multiple issues and the fact you need to import parts £30/40. it may be simple fix or you may have to replace half the internals.

For anyone so inclined you can get a product from Plastidip that you paint on the pick and pluck and sets it rock sold. Its like a layer of pleather that seals it all together. Never been a fan of shadow foam myself after trying it for tool storage if water gets into the membrane it seems to stay wet forever.

Interested in a folding stock FAL myself, would probably take a similar view and go with whichever came out first. King Arms can be stingy with the provision of certain variants. For about a decade you could get a Galil SAR no problem at all but a Galil ARM was a nightmare to find in stock. Extremely valid point. Had a G3 from them a few years ago and couldn't get it to reliably feed on midcaps. Similar problems with their newer HK33. Tried even going to the extent of attempting three aftermarket hop units. One wouldn't fit the aeg, the other would but the magazine wouldn't lock in. Third made no improvement over the stock unit. Ending up flogging them to someone at a heavy loss that was happy to put up with Hicaps only. It would be too easy for them to be cross compatible. Still as above, should be a good year for FN FALs. Potentially two AEG models and VFC bringing out some tacticool options on their GBBR line.

Got a tm desert eagle and wanted to mount a red dot more modern than the traditional options. Made this little scope base to fit my knockoff aimpoint acro and cut the top off a cheap ammomax holster to fit it. Thinking of making a variant to fit aimpoint micro style sights and rmrs. Any other sorts people would like to see?

Pick n pluck will eventually fall apart over time, individual cubes will detach Wave foam over that any day, especially if you intend to use your case to store/transport different replicas Shadow Foam is top teir though
