Only likely criminal-adjacent in appearance due to the ACAB backpatch and ratty streetpunk vibe... But shooting completely inaccurately off hand only barely aiming with an oft-sideway pistol and being unlikely to hit shit is traditionally considered so, right? Although somehow even having to pardon the pride pins present I still perfectly progressed with precision despite my paltry pistol predicament, proving my partners proud in performance more perfectly than the parcel of pigs plaguing the playingfield perchance at that precise present. Jaylordofwaargh Posted Monday at 07:46 Posted Monday at 07:46 I know i said id try the mash up, but the reality for the short game format at Dragons Lair, its just not needed. So instead I took the grab bag - short sling so it sits chest/abdomen and boom, a load out. Tackle, Cannonfodder and HZR13 2 1
Supporters TheFull9 Posted Monday at 11:53 Supporters Posted Monday at 11:53 I never get bored of seeing an issue grab bag, ha. If you sit and look at it, there's a significant carrying capacity there. Like you'd need a decent sized chest rig to have 3 mag pouches, 2 frag, a smoke and maybe 2 med-large GPs and an admin pouch for the generic internal space of it. Might have to start being one of the recommendations for newbies - one and done gear purchase right there, no assembly required. Tackle, Cannonfodder and HZR13 3
Moderators Tackle Posted Monday at 12:30 Moderators Posted Monday at 12:30 I run a couple of grab bags (1 black, 1 OD), not the issue type, small bucket bags with molle on both sides & the ends, larger taco's on one side, smg taco's on the other, twin pistol on one end & twin 40mm on the other (which handily takes a bfg & small gas reservoir can). Main compartment takes nalgene water, chocky, spare goggs & battery, what more do you need ?. Perfect 👌 (Obviously I own about a million other rigs that invariably never get used lol) 😱 TheFull9, ButcherBill, Lozart and 1 other 1 3
Jaylordofwaargh Posted Monday at 15:27 Posted Monday at 15:27 @TheFull9 between this and the 80's para chest rig for sure. The mag poachs held 4 G3 style mags, one you can see acted as my pistol holster, so had two small pistol mags on the side pockets, main space carried speed loader and some smoke grenades. Only down side is the frag poachs are too lose for the mini smokes they use for poison gas. @Tackle yeah, build-a-bag is definitely in my future, but then, I have a bag..... I'll have to find an all day battlesim for the mishmash rig to push capacity. Tackle and TheFull9 2
Popular Post GothicGhost Posted 15 hours ago Popular Post Posted 15 hours ago Bought a cheap Ali Express chest rig and did little few little upgrades with bits I had already to make a nice quick detach rig. HZR13, ButcherBill, Enid_Puceflange and 2 others 5
Impulse Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago All ready for this weekend; ready to ambush some GIs with their own gear! Been going down the LBE rabbit hole, watching god knows how many youtube videos and reading a bunch of real steel shooting articles to make sure my setup is as good as it can be and has everything I need. 8 rifle mags (stubby m16 mags or kar98k mags), 4 spare pistol mags, 1911, knife, and a WW2 camo scarf and a bunch of scrim netting in the butt pack for sneaky sniper shenanigans, plus two canteens for water for sustainment. It's also pretty well balanced, with the right side only being slightly heavier than the left because my Bell 1911 is heavier than the rubber knife, though if I use one of my TM 1911s the weight difference is negligible (but I'll be using the Bell 1911 because it's incredibly fun to shoot) I also only just learned that I need to wear my LBE a little bit higher than my waist-line, so... yeah. Learning! Enid_Puceflange, Austeyr and HZR13 2 1
