Is this the ultimate air soft cheat code???

Hello,

So I bought a double eagle single shot spring shotgun with 2 extra mags just in case my AEG fails on a game day

This specific one.

https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/double-eagle-m58a-tactical-bb-shotgun-m500-in-blue.html

And it is amazing!!!

On .25s it shoots 300-305 fps and its accuracy and range is crazy.

It only holds 14 bbs in the mag and I only shoot it when I know I am going to hit someone.

I get more people out with it than I do with my £400 custom ARP 9.

Even seasoned players are amazed with its performance and I have played with it for a full day on multiple times.

So here is my question.

Why is it so good???

Is it something about springers that are so reliable and accurate?

Food for thought happy new year.

Thanks

Over at AP they were selling very similar replicas for the princely sum of 25 quid, they were left over from a special event game and were initially viewed as a bit of a laugh and certainly nothing serious at all.

I’m pretty sure they were double eagle too however these were the sawn off version.

I bought one just for shits and giggles and was also staggered at how accurate they were, such was their popularity at the site they stared stocking spare mags for them, I still have it and like the OP it’s my backup gun.

Weird where quality can be found!

Those are indeed Double Eagle ones.

I bought one at their now sadly defunct Tower site, much to the amusement of those around me in the safe zone.

I took it out as my primary weapon in the next game and was also amazed at the range and accuracy.

They are great little guns.

Well, I had to drag that image out of the history folder, for old time's sake ;) :D

Got me seriously interested in one of those as I enjoyed playing at The Fireplace.  And I've always fancied a pump action just for the giggles.

Available in black https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/double-eagle-m58b-tactical-airsoft-shotgun-in-black.html
And with a stock (which I'm perhaps more tempted by): https://bbguns4less.co.uk/products/double-eagle-m58a-tactical-bb-shotgun-m500-in-black.html

Are the tri-shot versions equally as impressive, or is the single-shot the one to go for?

(I am on hiatus again though, after returning from a lengthy layoff due to bad knees (and bad finances): I had a friendly-fire blank grenade land next to me in a confined space and I've got a bad case of tinnitus in my left ear.   It's easing off a bit after a couple of months, but it's been a bit scary.   I can't play airsoft again without some sort of ear pro)

Good to know, what sort of range and accuracy are we talking about here from those who have commented?

I may well pick one up, its proof that you don't always need to spend millions to have something decent. I remember having a TM springer pistol that was accurate up to 15 whopping gurt metres like a laser haha!

Cheers chaps

As a guesstimate I was getting good accuracy out to 75-100m on .25’s.

On .20’s I also had 310fps which outperforms my M4 🤪

Mad little thing!

I might've believed you if you said 50-60m. Good to know we're talking in airsoft metres though 😂

Probably around 40-50m range.

Looking back it may have been less than that, can you imagine me as a fisherman?

I’d be the one claiming to have caught the Loch Ness monster when all I got was  a roach 😂😂😂

Still, not bad distance for a 25 quid rif 🤷‍♂️

Haha, I assumed as much. @Colin Allen's range approximation sounds more accurate to me, however it's still absolutely phenomenal for a £25 pew. I get similar range with my Cyma tri-shot which cost me about £60 with extra shells and a molle shell holder from pre-Brexit Taiwangun and I'm constantly amazed at how that performs so well.

Some springers are wank, but some really are hidden gems.

@ruskitseller

With the double eagle spring one I linked using .25s and no hop I am able to hit people 60-70 meters away.

Once 80 but that was I believe by chance.

I have reached a point in my life where I am unsure of what is a joke and what isn't lol! Is this satire or legit? :D Thanks
