clumpyedge Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I would have waited personally, looks like that will be a ball ache to remove.
Supporters Adolf Hamster Posted February 13, 2019 Supporters Posted February 13, 2019 this saddens me greatly, a beautiful rifle spoiled so!
EDcase Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 It'll take some work but it can be removed. Mr Beans, if your're happy with it that's all that counts
Mr.BeansOnToast Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 I was going to wait, but knowing how quickly guns go out of stock these days ? and yes EDcase I am v happy with it :)
Supporters Druid799 Posted February 13, 2019 Supporters Posted February 13, 2019 Makes it look like a training gun you’d give to a new army recruit who’d never touched a gun before ! ?

I was thinking the same, reminds me of the old dp no.4's ? as long as its comes off easily enough when the time comes (wink wink), in the meantime I'd get some scrim or a rifle wrap on it, otherwise they'll see you coming from miles away.
BigStew Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Is it a plastic stock because if it is That's a very good excuse to get a wood kit and if it's wood sand paper and wood stain.
EvilMonkee Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 No its wood, and very nice wood too - its basically heresy by the shop that inflicted that on this lovely gun.

Ouch. That'll make it harder to remove and will need re-varnishing after. If only they used vinyl wrap instead but I guess that's just too easy to remove.
Immortal Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Try some nail varnish remover... then a gentle sand..... then a restain.... then a varnish..... then buy a new stock
