ButcherBill
35 minutes ago, MrTea said: It is. I had to drop the spring down to a M110 to get it inside the limits. No idea what it came stock with. The hop unit is a bit strange, it's like a M4 and P90 hop put together and the inner barrel has a fair bit of movement even when assembled so I pushed an O-ring into the space between the hop unit and the inner barrel to hold it a bit more secure. I had to glue the nub to the hop arm as it kept getting stuck in place when winding the hop off. Gearbox looks to be a standard V2 but without a quick change spring and all the internals appear pretty much standard except the nozzle which is a long brass thing. Really should have measured it. Not sure what's going on with the rails on this - I had to really force the angled grip on and my KAC style rail covers just will not fit at all - it's like the rails are ever so slightly wider than all my other RIFs. The mock charging handle is a bit loose because the spring is about 3-5mm too short so it has some play. I have no idea how to take that apart so it's staying as is for now. It was shooting hot for me but I'd only ever chrono'd it so assumed it was a tight spring due to zero use. Hope you're happy with it, looks great with the changes, did you empty the Pmag for the battery or reroute the wiring? Think I'd only ever fitted an RDS to the top rail so can't comment on the rest of them. I remember watching Forgotten weapons vids about his AR57 & apparently the RS charging handle was dodgy... I should have charged more for the realism 😉 Edited July 8 by ButcherBill

Yeah was shooting at 400fps when I first tested it. The mag was just a spare high cap I had laying around so I pulled the internals out and superglued the pin back in to give some rigidity to the top of the mag. Wiring is still into the mag as it's just the better place for it tbh. If I wanted to make the profile smaller, I could get a short mag and put a peq box size battery in there. MistakenMexican Posted Sunday at 19:58 Share Posted Sunday at 19:58 TM G17 Gen5 with agency slide and Acro couple more bits to do to it. But it’s there in terms of internals. Just needs an extended slide catch and Big A frame. enzo47 and ButcherBill

They are very rare and he wouldn't give me an exact number on how much it cost, but it was well north of 5k The SUSAT is also genuine of course and in very very good condition ButcherBill
johnnyj Posted Tuesday at 09:36 Share Posted Tuesday at 09:36 A pal gave me his handguard to build an upper for him so decided to build a clone of the kyle lamb rifle to try for a trade for a gun he has I want lol.. yea not working so will be getting pulled apart. G&p a2 lower ,g&p upper , g&p outer and steel kac fh , g&p lipo tube / car15 stock. Is meant to have a g&p storm grip but didn't fit it. Systema gearbox with shs high torque motor , still needed bits doing to fully finish but don't think it looks to bad. Very nice! They don't do one for the MWS or I would've built one myself, but not getting a different platform because the GBBR magazine tax is hefty and I already have... 10 normal MWS mags and 8 stubby MWS mags. pyromancer6 Posted Tuesday at 12:56 Share Posted Tuesday at 12:56 Won't be getting run like this as you can't get the handguard off to access the battery when the muzzle-break the QD suppressor sits on is threaded but I thought it looked pretty neat. As much as I love the G36E with the bipod I think the G36K lengh is the goldilocks of the bunch - just right. The ARBA upper is surprisingly consistent in terms of FPS, hoping it does well on the field later this week. Should be ready to rock and roll but you never know. Good gas bolt actions are more than consistent enough. Gas guns are basically all I use nowadays, and most of my collection are bolt actions, and I use them all year round. Fingers crossed yours behaves when you take it to the field!

So at the time would be missing the firing pin, but would still go through all the motions when training. So would cock, chamber rounds etc. Would have had a white line sprayed around the handguard with DP marked in black on it. Obviously removed all that when sent for deactivation.
