Hello! The chap I'm buying from is selling a G&G CM16 M4, Has a Madbull tightbore and Daniel rail, 2 mags, battery and charger included and is looking for £200 postage included.

I mainly play at a CQB site, which has a 350 cap on AEG's, this little fella is only running at 250, how much will it affect me? Will it reduce the range a lot, or the power at range? I don't know a lot, so looking for solid advice.

Thanks to any and all replies.

For that price, I'd personally go for:

Bullpup, so more compact.

Much more stuff for £200, you're getting your money's worth.

Collapsible stock, so great for transportation.

All are excellent guns for CQB. I don't feel that the Cm16 is worth £200.

250fps sounds like it may need a little tlc. Plus personally I'd say £200 is a bit high.

To the OP, i wouldn't bother, you can get a new G&G CM16 raider with mags for less.

IMHO the tightbore is useless (i wont have tight bores in any of my guns as they dont do alot more then say +20fps in an aeg), and and so is the DD rail

edit :- the FPS dose seem low, i am guessing the original owner has screwed something up and is now trying to pass the gun off

Why not just buy it brand new?

http://www.taiwangun.com/en/pj4-cqb-p-j?from=listing&campaign-id=21

Comes with a charger (You may need a Euro to UK plug adapter), One high cap, Cleaning rod, vertical foregrip

I have this, spend £10 on the m100 spring and it'll fire at 340fps, is nice and compact and still the stock M4 which is highly upgradeable.

Plus you'll end up with £50 that you can buy a pack of mid caps for.

Except that's not a G&G, is it?

Where does he specifically state that it is required to be G&G?

You guys have linked him second hand items when all he has given is a £200 budget and asked for advice.

This one in particular runs great, is brand new and cheaper than what you are quoting. It is also specific for CQB with a shorter barrel, however the range is a good 50 - 60 feet.

Don't mock people who try to help.

In the questions he asked,

The 250 power will be noticeable and you will get a lesser impact, it will have shorter range, without using weightier BB's.

The good solid advice? Buy it brand new, for what you want. Then put the mods you want on it.

OK. The OP specifically was asking about a G&G. The post by Tad said "why not buy it new" implying that he was referring to the gun that was referenced by not only the OP but also other posters. I was pointing out that the gun Tad recommended wasn't what the OP was asking about.

There was no mocking involved merely pointing out a fact.

Thanks for the link, looks like a very solid gun. Has anyone had one who could give me a quick review?
